Quality of the food has slipped 7/8/2008

I used to go here a lot when I was in graduate school and loved it. A return visit showed that the quality of the food has seriously slipped. The pad thai was sticky, the shrimp overcooked, the vegetables virtually non-existent. The curry my wife ordered was not much better. The service was attentive and the terrace is still beautiful, but I'd look for other places to eat. more

Thai House 3/15/2006

I love the fact that Thai House is kind of tucked away from the hustle and bustle of Berkeley. Their food is really good, but it is a bit pricey. I've only been there a few times in the past two years. The portions aren't that big either. So if you're a student on a budget, you may want to reconsider. But if you do go, ask the waitresses for their recommendations. I'd write them down here, but I have no idea how to spell them. more
