OMG...this place is AMAZING!!! I have to honestly say that this is the single most amazing sushi place I have EVER been to. Up til now I thought Kirala was great...but OMG...This place is amazing....
OMG...this place is AMAZING!!! I have to honestly say that this is the single most amazing sushi place I have EVER been to. Up til now I thought Kirala was great...but OMG...This place is amazing. It is no where near as crowded as Kirala can get and the sushi taste so much fresher. The Sahsimi Plate was some of the freshest seafood I have ever had and the fish just melted in my mouth and I love the garlic albacore nigiri and the spanish mackrel nigiril. This place is great!!! The service is friendly and the serice was amazing!!!

I love coming here with my friends. The service is wonderfully friendly. Luxury is a Korean Resturant that just opened recently and it serves soupy or cold foods. I usually get the Spicy Soft Tofu Soup. HUGE Servings and delicious!!! I really enjoy coming to this place because there's usually something for anyone that they'd be happy with. They even have fried chicken for the non-adventurous ones. Only downside is that this place is pretty small and they blast english songs by korean artists...

I had heard from many friends that this is one of the best places to get Korean Spicy Soft Tofu Soup...but I have to say that it was average...I had had much better spicy tofu soup at other places...but the side dishes were great and I love the fact that both the rice and the soup were brought out in clay pots. This place is very popular so prepare to wait a while for a table and be served very hastily. I really do love the environement, but I would go elsewhere since it is pretty expensive here.

The place is too busy for the amount of people they have on staff. The wait is very long if you get there late. But the general decor is really nice and it is a good place to hang out with family or friends. Just don't go on weekends...too chaotic.

After a day of studying, my friend who lives in the area decided to take us to Guppy's to hang out. We took a look at the menu and the three of us decided to get the Guppy's Special with was a Strawberry Shaved Ice Dessert (which the menu claimed was for 2 people), a piece of brick toast, and popcorn chicken. What ensued was insanity -- in a good way. The shaved ice was the size of a salad bowl--not the salad bowl you eat in...the salad bowl you toss in--and it had at least 2 pounds of strawberries on it...the brick toast with vanilla ice cream was the most amazing dessert thing I have probably ever eaten...and the popcorn chicken was hot, not that oily and delicious. This place was great...I felt like such a glutton after it all but it was amazing! The place is small and cozy and the decor is extremely tacky but I love it...there's a weird endearing quality about the tackiness! I love this place! and there's fish tanks everywhere. If you go here late (like around after 10) you may have to wait for seating but it is so worth it.

I am in love. I just recently had a chance to visit the Cirritos Public Library thanks to a friend who lives in the city. This is the most amazing public library I have ever seen. Up until now Los Angeles Public Library was my number one but this place is amazing. Architectually it is stunning. With six fountains, a sculpture garden, a gigantic fish tank complete with coral reefs and small sharks, over 20 different types of chairs, various themes, and books galore...this library will take away any book lover's breath. I was in heaven. This is a great place to study with plenty of tables or to just curl up in a velvet loveseat and read a good book.

OMG...I had heard the rumors that this place's sushi was good...but man...it was really good...The great thing about it is that it is also so convenient. A branch-off from it's mother Kirala, Kirala 2 offers Kirala's famous sushi in a quick and easy take out form. The sushi chefs are there making the sushi right on the spot and if you want something more special you can ask them to make it...but it is a great gourmet grab and go place. I love it!

Chain resturants are finally making thier way to the south side of berkeley. Chipotle has opened a location a block away from campus and on their first day they offered free burritos to everyone. The burritos are great--huge for the price you pay for them. I highly recommend the steak or chicken fajita burritos. They are REALLY good. You can get full on $6. Only downside to this place is that there isn't much seating and their chips taste like salt licks...but otherwise a great place with friendly service.

The food wasn't spectacular and the service was a bit difficult, out waitress didn't seem able to understand us really well, but she was very nice to use nontheless. I really liked the atmosphere though--very family friendly. If you're looking for a place to hang out with some friends then this place is very suitable for you.

But this place was good. The service is a little fast...the only issue is that they have a hard time understanding english...I don't know how authentically thai the food is because the workers were all speaking chinese...but yeah, if you're shoping around H&M or Gap, I really suggest checking the place out.
