Len had cataract surgery for both eyes with Dr. Doe and it has been a excellent experience both times. All the staff is very pleasant and kind; took the time to answer our questions, and we appreciated Dr. Doe stopping by to see Len after his surgery. I can't say enough good things about Berkeley Eye Center!! Len had the surgery at Weslayan but we visit the Katy location for all follow up visits and vision care. They are The Best!! more

""Everyone"" was so professional, happy, and considerate - I've been a patient at this location for 10+ years and would not think of going to any other physician/center. I CAN SEE!!!! I am so very grateful for the exceptional experience and services I received from the staff at Berkeley Eye Center. From consultation to follow-up visits/exams after receiving LASIK surgery, I have nothing but glowing remarks toward this office. NO SIDE EFFECTS, NO PAIN, LOTS OF CARE AND NO (negative) SURPRISES. I see 20/20 now and am favorably impressed in all aspects of the process. THANK YOU FOR TAKING SUCH GREAT CARE OF ME AND MY EYES. :) more

I recently had LASIK at Berkeley and what a great experience! Everyone was very helpful and answered all my questions throughout the process, I had a lot. The surgery was a such an easy process, I couldn't believe it! I would definitely recommend Berkeley to anyone thinking about LASIK. more

Seeing is Believing!!! 8/16/2010

I had been wearing glasses since the age of five and I got my first pair of contact lenses my freshman year in high school. At the age of thirty one, I decided that I no longer wanted to deal with irratated red eyes due to my hard lenses and I did not want to sport my glasses. They were so thick that if you put them on you could see into the future! The doctors at Berkeley were so caring and professional every step of the way. From my first consultation, to my eye exam, to my Lasik procedure, to my follow-ups, the entire staff was extremely knowledgeable and thorough. I use to be -9 in both eyes (almost blind) and I am now seeing 20/20! The procedure is pretty quick and painless and the doctors at Berkeley know exactly what they are doing. If you decide that its time to get Lasik, do like I did and go with the best. Don't trust your eyes to just anyone, at Berkeley your in good hands. more

Should have done it sooner 8/1/2010

When my glasses broke last week, my husband said for the hundredth time, ?Get the lasik.? From him I had heard every compelling reason?from ?it pays for itself after several rounds of glasses? to ?it gives you a sense of freedom from the moment you wake up in the morning.? He spoke from an expert?s viewpoint because he had had Berkeley?s procedure done eight years before and was a strong advocate of the process. He also reminded me about the ?hero?s discount? for teachers?another good reason for both of us having it done. So on Tuesday I called for an appointment and was scheduled two days later for the consultation and then the next day, Friday, for the procedure. more

Lasik @ Berkeley eye center 7/28/2010

The staff makes you feel very safe before, during and after de lasik, they explain every single step of the surgery, all the steps to do the day of surgery and all that you can expect after the surgery, the costs are worth every single penny after the surgery, i used glasses for 15 years and after lasik i am the happiest person on earth.... Quick and painless LASIK experiance 7/26/2010

I have had glasses since I was in 5th grade. I suffered from an astigmatism so I always hated wearing the double prescription contacts. I looked into getting lasik eye surgery after relatives had it done. I was nervous at first, but having gone through it once, I would do it a million times. It really was quick and simple. There was no pain and the difference was mind blowing. I now have perfect 20/20 vision and I sometimes forget that I used to wear glasses in the first place. It takes looking at old pictures to remind me! Everyone at Berkeleye Eye Center was extremely friendly and knowledgeable. They took making sure I was comfortable and relaxed very seriously. I highly recommend them and Dr. Kaplan was terrific. Pros: Friendly staff, fast procedure, great results! more

No more glasses!!!! 6/30/2010

I went in to for the free consultation and found out that I was a good candidate for Lasik. I was a little scared but the staff put me at ease. Pros: very friendly doctor and staff more
