Top Notch Salon and Spa 9/3/2009

David and Sandy are genuine and sincere. They are both experts in their trade - David with hair and Sandy with facials, waxing, massages, etc. They are very accomodating and a pleasure to spend time with. The Salon is quaint and quiet except lite music in the background. The environment is peaceful. I definitely give them 5 stars, and highly recommend them. Check it out for yourself. Great Hairstyling at a Reasonable Price 9/1/2009

Sandy and David are very adaptable, and try to take me for services when I need them. I also depend on Sandy for waxing. They are both personable and considerate. I have been a loyal customer for several years. It is the best place I have found for my hair in Nashville. Their price is reasonable for the quality of the work. Pros: Great Haircut and style more

Amazingly Therapeutic! 9/2/2008

I am a quadriplegic, confined to a wheelchair. One day, on a whim, I decided to try a massage. It is the best thing I have ever done, as far as therapeutic things go. Sandy is amazing. I've been told that after one on my sessions, I come out glowing. Pros: The service is absolutely fabulous. It is well worth it. more

Hidden Treasure! 8/29/2008

Walked into what looked like a typical strip mall salon, and discovered the best massage therapist I have yet encountered. Sandy and David Bishop are a husband and wife team. David is a stylist, and Sandy works wonders with her freakishly gentle yet strong hands. Have you ever had cranio sacral work done?? LOVE IT! 4/14/2008

I had been to David's Salon a few times before, but just to get my eyebrows done. But the friendly employees and quick service made me decide to try them for highlights. Again, I got AWESOME service. No one complained or seemed upset when I came in on a Friday evening without an appointment (I probably caused them to have to stay open longer than they had planned!). Then both employees on duty assisted in helping me pick out the right color, as well as engaged in very good conversation with me throughout the whole process. I felt very comfortable there, and could have talked to them all night!! I totally recommend that people try them! The service was awesome, and I've already received so many compliments on my highlights!!!!! Pros: Service, Music, Atmosphere, Parking more

This is a great location and allows for one stop shopping in beauty. Haircuts, color, massage, pedicures and manicures are all available and are done by professionals. best hair house in nashville 1/18/2008

David's Salon is a wonderful experience each time I visit there. It's tough having a good looking hairdresser and colorist with big biceps, but somehow I manage to keep my mind on my hair. He's very nice and prompt, and is excellent with color and cuts. There is also a spa which is very exceptional as well. Don't hesitate - call today for an appointment...662-4040. You won't regret it. Great overall salon 8/21/2007

I really enjoy the people at David's Salon. Jennifer gave me a shampoo/head massage the last time I was there that was so relaxing. Sandy is the first and only person I have ever let wax my eyebrows. She really listened to me when I told her that I only wanted the stray hairs removed and that I didn't want skinny eyebrows. David has cut and styled my hair for a while now, and he always pays attention to what I want and does a great job. I wouldn't hesitate to recommend David's to anyone! Jennifer gave a great shampoo and scalp massage- I fell asleep! David is a natural born stylist. He fixed the bad haircut I got from an unfortunate trip to another salon. I'll be back for sure. more

Attention to Detail 4/19/2007

Dyer is absolutely wonderful to work with. She is so attentive to detail. The 5-10 minute head massage during the shampoo is awesome. She had great recommendations and is knowledgeable of the lastest trends in the industry. Not only does she give a great cut, she is skilled and talented in coloring/higlighting as well. ur treated like a queen for the time u enter in the door, then a 5 min shampoo they listen to what u want and ur needs they suggest good product for ur hair and skin ilove the time there .david has a salon that is for the whole family his wife sandy one of the best massage every thx david salon Pros: all good staff more

Best hair cut and color in Nashville 7/9/2006

I have very fine hair and David is the only one in Nashville that I trust with my hair. My color is always just what I want (no red) . I have multiple skin allergies to shampoos or conditioners etc, and both he and Sandy always take the extra time to rinse my hair to prevent a reaction and for that I am thankful. Superior service 6/17/2006

I have moved across the country and lived in many cities. Each time I have struggled to find a salon that is reliable and not just a ""chop shop"" running people through like numbers. From my first visit as a walk in to David's Salon, I knew I found a place where I wouldn't just be a $ to the people working there. David, Sandy and Dyer show a genuine interest in their customers, and that is a change from most places today. It is a great place to spend the day pampering yourself with a manicure, pedicure and massage. I know that when I walk through the door, I can relax and take a break from the craziness of the day. I have been to David's Salon twice now and both times I was treated like a close friend from the moment I met David and his staff. David, Sandy and Dyer are so wonderful, and they know what you need to make you feel beautiful. Sandy is Davids wife and she is sooooo sweet to me. I have been in another salon not far from here and the mans wife would blow in and out of the salon and give everyone attitude on her way- the clients would talk about her when she left. (So would her husband) Sandy is excellent and offers a great skin care line and massage services. Dyer is David's assistant and she is phenomenal. She has given me the best shampoo and massage. I know for a fact nobody does it as well as she. Last but not least David will give you the best cut you have ever had, and he is great at listening to what you want and giving you just that. If you are unhappy, or want to try something new Im telling you ladies you need to come in and let David and his amazing staff take care of you Pros: Best old brush ever, smoothes like a straightening iron more
