Bad bad quality... NOT traditional southern style at all!!! No where near worth the extremely expensive prices. The lady's are nice that work there, but really... I see this place...

Good brittle and great service, but too expensive 11/7/2008

On my first visit I was given a tour of the store which was very professional, and the store kept up very nicely. The brittle is very good, but not work the $20-$28 per pound in my opinion, especially since one variety I purchased, pecan-coconut brittle, had too few pecans. more

brittle near Lake Ella 7/7/2007

Cute store in one of the cottages by Lake Ella. Very friendly service. The brittle smells lovely and is apparently homemade. There are so many kinds of brittle - different nuts, chocolates, seeds and no nut brittle. They then use the brittle in their homemade ice-cream. I tried a small cup (one scoop) which tasted good and cost about $2.80. more

This charming little shop at Lake Ella is great. There are tons of brittle types to choose from. Peanut, other types of nuts, sunflower seeds, and even some plain brittle with no nuts or seeds at all! There are also chocolate brittles, gift sets and more. All of the brittles are packaged, labeled and divided nicely so that it is easy to find what you are looking for. The shop smells delicious, since the brittle is made right there. The staff is also tremendously nice and helpful. If you want a special treat for yourself or to give as a git, stop by Barb's. more
