I started going here for yearly exams 5 years ago and have been happy ever since. I see Dr. Moody, and actually have exams every 6 months due to Dysplasia found when she was being...

Quality of care and the doctors are great - love Dr. Mohr! Had my first child with them and everything went wonderfully. Moved out of state and requested they send my medical re...

Best Dr's in Raleigh 11/3/2008

I have read some of the negative posts and I can't believe what people are saying. My sister, sister-in-law, several of my friends, and I all sing the praises of all of the doctors in the practice. These doctors have delivered my nephews and my doctors and I never felt like a number. I don't know of many doctors that would hug your neck before you leave the office. This office is absolutely recommended. more

look elsewhere... 10/5/2007

Although the staff seem to be highly qualified, I agree with the other reviewers, you end up feeling processed and unheard! I spent way too much time and money to be made to feel like I was making mountains out of molehills. I finally had to ask Dr. Gizzie for further testing and what do you know..I was right, there was something wrong!!!What if I had accepted her clinical opinion that there was no reason to get an ultrasound, then I may have never found the growth in time to treat it!!! She seems cold and uncaring..the poorest bedside manner I have ever had, and I always have to call for results. Unorganized office staff!!! more

Practice losing the personal touch 9/24/2007

When this practice opened, patients received excellent care. Now that the practice has grown, patients are rushed through visits with little personal attention. more

Wonderful Ob-gyn practice 6/18/2007

Half way through my second pregnancy, I switched to this practice due to many negative experiences with my previous doctors. A family member who is in the medical field highly recommended Dr. Mohr and Dr. Moody. I dealt with every doctor at the practice and was very pleased with each of them. Dr. Gizzie delivered my second son. It was a wonderful natural delivery and I couldn't have been more pleased with my experience. The practice is large and there were a few visits where I waited longer than I would have liked, but that would not prevent me from staying with them. The bed side manner and the comfortable atmosphere more than made up for the waiting. I would highly recommend Associates in Women's Healthcare. They truly seem to care. more

Practice way too big for personal attention...and a general lack of bedside manners 6/6/2007

When I found out I was pregnant with my first child, I looked at website reviews, such as this one, in selecting which practice I would go with. Thinking it would be great to have a practice with 5 women, most of whom would have experienced childbirth themselves, I picked Associates. As long as my pregnancy was trouble-free, I was ambivalent about the care I was receiving - we certainly never had the warm fuzzies about anyone there, but no major complaints besides feeling "processed through" at each visit. However, once I ran into major problems at 27-weeks and ended up in the hospital, I realized I was at a practice that was WAY too big for personal attention and all-too-easy to get lost in the shuffle. Doctors make you feel rushed for the most part, several are just plain gruff & grouchy, and even after having been there my entire pregnancy, a good stretch of which for weekly visits, I have to explain my situation again nearly every time to techs and doctors alike. And at each visit, I still feel "processed through". I have two friends who tried them as well - one left for another practice following several visits where she was made to feel her questions and concerns were ignored, and one who, like me, is too far along to switch practices at this point - but like me, will not be going back to them again for baby #2. more

Great Female Dominant OB_GYN Practice 7/12/2005

When I found myself without an OBGYN (my dr moved to a different city) when I got pregnant w/ my second child, I was worried that I wouldn't get the same great care I had recieved with the birth of my first born. I had been recommended this practice by a few good friends and found it to be better than my old practice. I never waited longer than 30 min to see a dr, the doctors were all female, and I had the most peaceful delivery ever imaginable at a great hospital minutes from my home. There is nothing bad I can say about this practice!! more

Dr. Mary Moody 6/28/2005

After just moving to the area and coming from a GYN I loved, I was nervous about finding a new doctor. After some research and advice from friends I found Dr. Moody and the Associates for Women's Healthcare. The entire office staff is extremely friendly and Dr. Moody was very knowledgeable and helpful. I was also in and out in 40 minutes! She is Board certified which also eased my mind. I would definitely give her a try if you are looking for a new doctor. They are located off of Wake Forest past the hospital. more
