The very best 4/13/2011

I love Dr. Lloyd, she is so great with my daughter and always takes the best care of her. My daughter loves brushing her teeth now, and looks forward to her next cleaning, WOW! \r The staff is absolutely amaxing, and has no problem keeping an eye on my daughter while I am being seen. This is the best place you can go...very caring and appreciative of their clients. more

Impressive dentist experience... 3/31/2011

I have been so impressed with Dr. Lloyd and her staff...there is never a long with in the waiting room, the atmosphere in the office is not like going to the dentist but being in a comfortable lounge waiting for something other than getting your mouth drilled. Dr. Lloyd has made the ""dentist"" experience more than a horrible experience (like my previous dentist) but a pleasant check-up. I highly recommend Dr. Lloyd! more

Great with Kids! 3/31/2011

My kids just love Dr. Lloyd; every time we go to the dentist, they are already asking me when we will be coming back. She always has such a friendly smile, and the staff are great with reminding me of our future appointments. Not to mention, she is great explaining all necessary treatments to me before hand. I highly recommend Dr. Lloyd!!! more

Never Rushed... 3/29/2011

This place is great. It is extremely efficient but Dr. Lloyd has never made me feel rushed. She made sure to answer all of my questions. For example when I asked her about the filling that was replacing my old broken silver one, Dr. Lloyd gave me a hands on demonstration. When my mouth regained feeling later in the day I noticed a sharp spot on my tooth. Dr. Lloyd had me come in right away and it was fixed and I was on my way in 20 minutes. (No appointment needed). I highly recommend Ashley Lloyd! more

Dr. Lloyd was very nice and engaged in an appropriate level of chit-chat for dental work (you know the deal: don't ask me elaborate questions with cotton in my mouth!)\r All in all, it was a nicer experience than one typically associates with ""dentist,"" so I highly recommend Morrison and Lloyd. more

Super Dentist! 3/14/2011

Dr. Lloyd is a fantastic dentist. I love her staff. They are always so helpful with my kids when I have to take them with me. She has an amazing sense of humor and I couldn't even feel it while she was working in my mouth. Super gentle. I would recommend Dr. Lloyd to everyone. more

Takes care of my whole family... 3/3/2011

Dr. Lloyd is the reason why I get my regular six month cleaning for the whole family done. She is very gentle and thorough. She makes sure that she has explained the whole procedure before any work is done. Her office staff is very helpful and friendly. The whole experience is so stress free, that even my two daughters (6 and 8 year old) have no problem going to her. more

Welcome... 3/2/2011

Dr. Lloyd and her office staff took really good care of me, and also made me feel welcome when I got there. My insurance covers many procedures, but last year I needed a few extractions and I had to supplement the insurance, they were very helpful with working out the situation over a few payments. In the past I've had a lot of anxiety about going to dentist, but not anymore after I started going to Dr. Lloyd's office. more

A trip to the dentist.... 2/24/2011

A trip to the dentist isn't supposed to be relaxing and enjoyable. But, that is exactly what I experienced with Dr. Lloyd and her entire staff. Her attention to my comfort level, not to mention the high quality of her work, makes her the best all around dentist I have ever visited. Pleasantly surprised... 2/22/2011

I decided to try Dr. Lloyd after my first grader came home and told me she gave a presentation for the first graders at Lacy Elementary for dental month. I figured if she could inspire my first grader to brush her teeth that she might be a pretty good dentist and I was RIGHT!!! She was friendly, easy going, very thorough, very knowledgable, and I felt like I was in good hands(They can even do crowns in-house while you wait). What a super dentist, I am a forever fan. more

Most pleasant Dentist I have ever met.... 2/22/2011

The most delightful dentist experience ever. She was very funny, pleasant, and friendly to be around. There was no wait, but the waiting area was extremely clean and comfortable. The bird feeders outside the window made it an enjoyable and unique experience. Overall the best dentist appointment ever. more

Dr. Jeff Rocks 1/16/2011

I had been to three dentists that told me that I had to have a tooth pulled or a root canal. I made an appointment with Jeff Morrison because my mother had gone to his Dad years ago and I figured I would give it a shot - I hate going to a dentist office.\r \r You wont believe it. He X-rayed my tooth and told me I needed a filling - he had some time to do it right then if I wanted - and he did and I got out like $1000's of dollars less than what the other ""dentists"" were going to charge - I mean it was affordable and it was no big deal to him - he was not trying to rip me off. I am so in love with this dentist. Go here. Dont go anywhere else. You can trust him. He has integrity.\r \r He was sent from heaven. Period more

I usually have to be medicated to go to a dentist 12/18/2010

I hate going to the dentist - until now. I needed a dentist and I googled and came up with Jeff Morrison - a second generation dentist in Raleigh. With great trepidation, I made an appointment - brought a book with me for the wait but never got to open it. There was no wait. The most efficient friendly office I have ever seen. As I walked down the hall to the room, my stomach turned to jelly - I knew I had not been in a long time and I was prepared for a lecture and a big pitch for lots of expensive dental work. While I waited for him - I watched the hummingbirds feeding outside the window, the assistant brought me a blanket (wow!) and guess what? He was genuinely nice - no lecture - just offered options. I was totally comfortable. I have never met a dentist like this. I felt like I was in the best hands of any dentist that I have ever met in my life. I could easily have a crush on him. I recommend him to everyone I see, even if they do not need dental work. Jeff ROCKS!!! Yeah. more

my son HATES going to the dentist.. however the thought of it is so much worse than the actual appointment. afterwards he ALWAYS says ""oh it was fine. i dont know why i was so worried"" Dr Lloyd is so kind and caring. Pros: short wait time, flex hours and friendly staff more

Professional With A Gentle Touch! 8/21/2008

I am so glad that I had the opportunity to have Dr. Ashley take care of my dental work. She really took care of my emergency cracked tooth! I was really fearful of what the turnout would be and she calmed my fears and quickly got down to business. Please note that she even came in on the weekend to take care of me! So few dentists bother to do this. I will make sure to visit with her next time I need care. Oh yes, she also has excellent support staff and a beautiful office! So glad to have a woman who understands and who has a gentle touch. Highly recommended. Pros: Makes you feel calm and assured - Works Fast Cons: Office needs more parking more

Professional Dental Care 8/21/2008

I highly recommend Dr. Jeff to all patients. He has been taking care of my mouth as well as the mouth's of my family for the past 20 years. I have always had good communication about my dental procedures and good results. Dr. Jeff makes me feel like I am a welcome ""family"" member when I visit. He also makes the procedures as painless as possible. My children have also expressed how comfortable they are with him. I am very happy with his support staff and his location. The office is beautiful and convenient to downtown Raleigh. Recommended to all!\r \r Pros: Good, Fast, Professional Service Cons: Need more parking space more

Awesome Dentist!!! 3/30/2008

Ashely Llyod is, by far, an excellent dentist and personable character. I have crazy fear of the dentist and I am forever cancelling appointments... she has not only been patient and kind through the whole ordeal. Her professinalism and caring manner is reflected both in her attitude and her work. She is amazing! Furthermore, I nearly have a heart attack when the machines kick up that dreaded drill sound.. I can't even deal with the teeth cleaning .. She is very aware and works diligently to maintain a calm peaceful environment. Parking is the only pain at her office but I'd gladly park on the street and walk blocks to keep this dentist! Pros: Office staff, peaceful environment Cons: Parking more

AVOID THIS DENTIST! 2/27/2008

My dental visit with Dr. Morrison was the worst medical experience I have had in all of my years of going to doctors and dentists. He is quick to make drastic changes to your teeth without communicating with or gaining consent from his patients first. His lack of professional and personal skills makes for an unpleasant dentist visit. His loyal staff make the experience all the more disappointing, as they do not try to make up for his lack of compassion. I would strongly recommend against Dr. Morrison as a dentist of your choice. more
