Angle Lake 1/18/2011

Angel Lake is a pretty packed shop. If you let Dale know what your after, he is awesome about helping you. I bought a front crank trike. It is the best cycle I have ever seen. When you first walk in, don't be scared, just find the owner and tell Dale what you are looking for. He has given me fantastic service since my purchase. I can't believe all the negative reviews. As soon as you get over the shop clutter. He offers incredible support! more

Horrible customer service :( 9/3/2010

I went into the shop last week to buy a bike. The place looked like somebody exploded a bomb inside. There were parts lying around everywhere, junk, boxes, etc. That's not even what I cared about he is the owner, if he feels the store, looking like crap attracts a lot of customers that's his own deal. I ended up purchasing bike, but the front brakes were not working correctly. He said:"" No problem, give me a couple of hours and I'll fix the brakes for you"". I came back a couple hours later and it had not been done. I stopped by the next day (evening) and it still nothing, no brakes. I continued to return daily to check if he had finished, and to my disappointment the bike had never even been touched, it had remained in the same spot I left it 4days prior. On Wednesday, he told me for sure after he closed he would stay until the job was complete. Finally by Thursday around 3pm I had made up my mind to just get my money returned, clearly he had no intention on fixing the bike any time soon and was just giving me the run around. And this is what they call Great customer service?\r Obviously he doesn’t care!\r \r Stay away from this shop!\r \r more

What a dump 8/26/2010

I went into Angle Lake with a buddy who was shopping for a road bike. We hit up all of the local bike shops and this was the last stop for the day. WHAT A DUMP. There was recument bikes scattered outside plus just old pieces and parts of bikes. Then we went inside, or should i say, tried to go inside. What a disorganized mess. There was so much crap laying around you could hardly look at anything. There were frames laying around from years ago (one frame was a Trek 5200 that had shifters on the downtube-that tells you how old it was). You could not literally walk through there without tripping or stepping on some kind of bike or bike accessory. There were several older model bikes, very few new ones and none of them had price tags. There was so much stuff on the display case you couldn't even see in them. There were at least 5 bike boxes sitting out on the floor untouched and a few other empty bike boxes just laying around. Then we happened to look back into the back and it looked even more

Outstanding bike shop 6/14/2010

The URL for this shop is actually: http://www.anglelakecycle.com/\r Wonderful bike shop with a great selection of conventional bikes, recumbent bikes, crank-forward bikes and recumbent trikes. Great repair service. Extremely knowledgeable, helpful and friendly, regardless of whether you're buying an inner tube or a high end bike. Also, if you want to explore and shop for recumbents and / or crank-forward bikes, this is the only place you need to go. Dale is awesome at helping you try out the various bikes he has in stock. more

Angle Lake Cyclery is small but has everything 7/28/2009

very knowledgable staff. I went in just needing a small piece of wire for my brakes, after waiting for just a little while, one of the owners inquired about my need, I held up a small piece of wire, he said, all yours, stop by again soon. more
