I have been a customer of the Feldmeier agency for more than 10 years. Last summer, my son got in some trouble for being in a vehicle with a controlled substance. His license was suspended and then actually expired during that same 30 suspension period. My son also moved out of my house in October. When my policy went to renew in November, they were going to raise my insurance rates to $500 PER MONTH!!!! I tried to explain to Greg and American Family that not only did my son not live with me any longer - he did not have a valid license, they would not do anything for me except to offer to switch me to their basically low class insurance company. Greg went so far as to tell me that even if he didn't have a valid license, he had access to my keys. SO DOES MY 13 YEAR OLD!! Were they going to start charging me for him too? So I switched insurance companies to a well-known national company and my rate for full-coverage went down to $99 per month. Last week I was notified that they sent me to a collection agency for $256.05 that they really can't explain. I was notified by my credit monitoring service. They refused to do anything about it. Please keep in mind that over the past 10 years I have insured multiple vehicles with them, at one time insuring 3 vehicles at one time, I had boat insurance, home owners insurance, and business owners for a rental house I own - and they sent me to collections for $256 and let me leave them over nothing. I will NEVER do business again and please be sure that Greg Feldmeier wants to do nothing for you except to take your money!!
