Adolf Hoepfl Garage was recommended to me by our neighborhood Facebook group. During our first experience there, we brought in our car which we thought might need a new transmission replacement. After they checked it, it was a fixable issue and it costed a lot less than we expected. We have had numerous car work done there since then because we are very happy with their successful work. Virginia, the staff coordinator, is a tremendous asset for the business. Whenever we ask them questions, she comes up with the right answer at the top of her head. They take care of the problem. They don't seem to overcharge. They are so nice and courteous. They go the extra mile for you. I have been using them for six or seven years, or maybe even longer. They have changed oil for me, did my wipers, and various other tasks. They are the only people that I let work on my car. I wouldn't think of going anywhere else. They don't keep your car for a long time and keep it clean. It's just like going to my daddy to get my car fixed because I am so sure that it is going to be done right in the correct price range. The mechanics at Adolf Hoepfl Garage are very good. They've done everything from oil change, tire rotation, transmission fluid change, changing out the struts on my Monte Carlo, and changing out the intake manifold gaskets. It's fairly complex work. They've been around for a long time and since they're in the neighborhood, they can send someone out to pick up my car. This works well for me because unfortunately, they don't have weekend hours. I've been to Adolf Hoepfl Garage about 8 or 9 times. They do basic car service like brake work, a tune up, and oil changes because the prices are reasonable and the service is excellent. I have a 2000 Cadillac and they keep it running. I love my car and they treat it like it's brand new. They've always been very helpful and very courteous. They've always given us good service, we know the people there by now, and they're in the neighborhood right down the street from our shop. Be sure to stay on top of them until you get to know them. I've been going to that garage since the previous owner had it. I've been there for almost 25 years. When Adolf Hoepfl Garage took over, I was one of the first customers who came in, met with them, and welcomed them to the neighborhood. I work as an artist and do a lot of projects with Kathryn for the local Civic Association. So she's more like a friend to me. Sybren is just about the same age as me also. We sort of have this running gun battle where I come in and diagnose what's wrong with my car and almost 100% of the time I'm wrong. He'll tell me what's actually going on and fixes it. They don't do anything more than they have to. If there's a problem that's upcoming, they give you options ahead of time. They really try and save you money. With a previous vehicle I had, I was going to sell it and asked for a print out of all the work they had done on the car. They had all the records for over eight years and were able to give me that at no cost to use as a very nice sales tool, which was pretty nice. It really helped me sell the vehicle. The mechanics, Edwin and Rolland are pretty good guys. My only compliant, and I've told them this time and time again, is that there needs to be somebody checking the work done on all the cars as they come out ready for the customer. Often, little things will go unnoticed that somebody could have caught if they did a final check over the worksheet. That's kind of minor, but makes a big difference. When there's a bolt laying out on floor mat you go, "Oh shoot, where is this bolt supposed to go?" more

I have a number of vehicles and all of them have been serviced at Adolf Hoepfl Garage, from basic inspections and oil changes to more complicated work dealing with the engine or a fuel pump or a water pump. I have always been satisfied with the work. After any particular repair if there were any questions that I may have had, they were quick to address them. If there were any concerns, they would encourage me to bring the car up to them. After any repairs or work I receive a follow up call from the office making sure that I'm satisfied and everything is working correctly. Because of those reasons, I believe they merit the highest ratings. I've been going to them a long while, probably since shortly after they were in business. I would just say that the owners are friendly, straightforward, and you don't get the impression that they're just trying to make a buck like some garages do. In fact, they are closed on weekends on Saturday and Sunday. They keep regular hours and they know their mechanics. If there's a project or repair that would result in diminishing return on your vehicle investment, I believe they would tell you that. It has been a positive experience going to them and I have been satisfied with the work they do. more

Adolf Hoepfl Garage was recommended to me by Sears because Sears was not able to do the bodywork I needed done so I brought my car down there. I've been bringing my car and truck there ever since for the past two years. I have been very pleased with their service. They are very kind and professional and the workers really explain what needs to be done. They give you a chance to figure out what you want to do. They follow up on the phone and one time I had the AC in my car worked on and I listened to them answer incoming calls. They were very professional and nice with everyone. I've been to Adolf Hoepfl Garage one time. I had shocks put on my car. The work was beautiful. They fixed another part that they found and I was glad of that. Someone recommended them to me so I'd recommend them. Their communication is real good. I need to go back to them now for something. You can take your car out there and they'll fix it for you. You can also set up a credit account with their finance company to pay for it. It was great for me. more
