I recently leased a place from Accuven Properties and it was an absolutely dreadful experience. We had plumbing issues from the beginning and it would sometimes take up to a month to get in touch with Accuven and get someone out there. And then instead of sending out a professional, they would send a day laborer and leave him there like I'm supposed to feel secure with someone off the street with a key to my house! I spent almost a week not being able to use the kitchen sink that was backed up with filthy water that had started attracting flies by the time they sent a plumber out. At the end of the lease, I signed form stating security deposit would be returned within 30 days. Well I am still waiting and it has been over 40 days. Oh, and the excuse when I was having problems and they wouldn't return my calls was always ""well we were out of the country."" Well as a tenant, I would expect a 24/7 contact number. What if the place would have been on fire? STAY AWAY from Accuven!
