Decent apartment in a decent location, top shelf price. Apartments are smaller then advertised. So - so upgrades. Cheap, cabinets and counter tops easily dented + scratched. Management will not care about you the longer you live there. Maintenance will take forever, and the garbage situation here is awful. There will be notes left on your door regarding the overflowing compactor and how you as a tenant should not be putting garbage in it. Also, many notes about dog poo. Many, even if you do not have a dog. Lots of kids here, quite noisy. Kids were constantly playing in the stairwells leaving garbage and food residue on everything. Took management 5 complaints and over 6 mo to do anything about it. (then found out it stopped because the kids moved).
There are yearly "inspections." Be prepared for 2 or 3 people in your apartment every summer for god knows what reason. Management will talk to you like a child and treat you with contempt.
Be prepared to do everything by the book when you move out. Take pictures etc. Management will do everything they can to avoid doing a walk through with you and then create false damages and cleaning fees to try and get more money from you. They do not follow the law. You will be harassed by a "credit advising" company that will send you snotty condescending mail accusing you of owing money. Know your rights as a tenant in WA State and be prepared to fight.
Better not to move in here, or take your chances.
