Excellent job ...... so far 3/9/2013

A Better Tripp is moving some of my 90 year old parents possessions from Florida to Wisconsin and, so far, I could not be more pleased. I worked with Allen and Kim in their Houston headquarters and they were both great. The communication and understanding of our needs was just first class. Mike the driver did the packing and loading and he received race reviews from my parents. He also communicated wonderfully with me, keeping me in the loop. My parents' stuff is in ABT's Houston warehouse so I cannot yet address the delivery side of the move. more

Vintage Baby Grand - The journey 3/4/2013

Life can get complicated when you inherit a vintage Mason & Hamlin baby grand piano that is over 800 miles away. Bad things can happen quickly if you pick the wrong movers. We started by reviewing the movers featured in Angies List. After a few calls, A Better Tripp Moving stood out and they quickly accommodated our limited timeline for the move. When they arrived on the big day, we had great concerns how just two people were going to safely move such a large and heavy piece safely. The guys were outstanding and in complete control. They worked quickly and carefully with all the items, but took extreme care with the piano. My wife couldnt stop taking pictures of their efforts. Five days later, they arrived at our front steps and delivered the piano gently over Spanish tiles and maneuvered it carefully into place. If and when we move again, I can assure you we will call A Better Tripp. more

From the day Allen presented an accurate estimate of moving cost until the move was finalized, Allen was exceptional in communicating clearly what needed to be done, eliminating tasks I thought I would have to do and reassuring me it would be a successful trip. moved piano from Birmingham to Houston 1/9/2013

They were a pleasure to deal with - very professional. Was very nervous to hire anyone to do this job, so trusted in Angie's List and their reviews and was not disappointed. I called on a Wednesday, it was picked up on Friday and delivered to me the next day. The price was much cheaper than the other bids I got, sometimes as much as 1/2 the price. more

A Better Tripp Moving recommendation 1/4/2013

Mike Summers was such an awesome guy. He was the driver for my cross country move & he went above & beyond to give me great service, keeping me informed along the way, working with my schedule, and taking good care of my belongings. His guys were hard workers, polite, and friendly. Allen coordinated my move, and he worked hard to get me a decent price. I would highly recommend A Better Tripp Moving. more

I had a very difficult long distance move with three pickup locations, three destination locations, special sequencing of items and all from a huge amount of home possessions collected over the last 42 years. Included highly valued collectible antiques and fragile vintage furnishings. Allan 's exceptional planning and enthusiasm for the move established a secure confidence in Tripp's company. Raphael and his crew executed the plan flawlessly. It was better than I imagined it could be. If these guys perform for you like they did for me I guarantee your unconditional satisfaction. more

The best moving experience ever 10/31/2012

They showed up on time & handled the move expertly. There was some damage to my new home but the damages were handled thru a claim. They will not run and hide from any issues! Allen Beaulieu has the best customer service skills. more

Moved an heirloom... 10/27/2012

Better Tripp moved my husband's grandmother's piano for us from Tulsa, OK to Prosper, TX. Given that it was just one item, albeit big and heavy, we waited a little while to get it (a couple months), so they wouldn't have to make a special trip and charge us an arm and a leg! We were very pleased with the service all the way around! Definitely recommend and would use again. Thanks guys! more

COULD NOT BE BETTER 10/26/2012

After twenty years I moved out of my office. I wasn't sure how to handle the coordination with the building management. Allen handled it all. Elevator, security insurance documents. Miguel and his crew handled the actual move. They were professional. The move went fast and smooth No problems. I can recommend A Better Tripp Moving without any reservations. more

piano move 10/24/2012

I was so exciteda about getting my piano back and wasn't going to use just anyone! They were professional, kind, patient, giving, and most of all careful with my piano. Both of the young men who cared for my piano treated it gently and carefully. I was so grateful to them for meeting me one place and then taking it to my home. They were about 15 minutes early, even! I will use them again in the future! more

Move Consultant - Allen Beaulieu is a TRUE Professional 10/19/2012

I forgot to mention in my previous review that Allen took care of me 100 on my move - so not only did the crew take great care, my consultant answered questions and maintained contact with me throughout the day to assist in coordinating the move and the contractor handling my disconnect/re-connect of my washer and dryer. Awesome job!!! more

AWESOME Crew and Moving Experience! 10/17/2012

This was my 6th move using movers and have always had some damage and broken items. I've always found out that temps are used. The movers have always gone over anticipated time because they are on cell phones and texting and had no energy in their step. This was NOT my experience with A Better Tripp! If you can call moving "painless", my experience with A Better Tripp was the closest I have ever experienced to painless. The crew was on time, professional, steadily working (no cell phones and texting). They were polite, always asking if they needed to use the restroom or needed ice for water. They carefully wrapped all of my furniture, so I did not have any damage at all. A FIRST!!! With nearly 80 boxes (which I packed), they loaded and unloaded and I didn't have a single breakage in any of the boxes. A Better Tripp has professional, experienced, W-2 employees and it shows. I will never call another service other than A Better Tripp for my moves and have and will recommend them to anyone and everyone that is thinking about a move! more

Had a great experience w/ A Better Tripp 8/20/2012

I used A Better Tripp for a local move to storage and couldn't have been more pleased. Planning the move with Renee was stress-free and easy. She was always courteous and helpful. The team who came to move me was on time, professional, respectful and careful. They worked swiftly, but with great care. We got caught in a massive rainstorm during the move. I immediately was not only concerned for my things, but also concerned for the additional time I might have to pay for on account of the rain potentially slowing them down. Instead, they moved the truck as close as possible to the storage unit to minimize exposure of my things to rain, and persevered. With no complaints, they all got drenched in the process, which I was so grateful for. (I felt badly, but they were such good sports about it that they assured me it was ok.) Thanks to their determination and work ethic, the rain didn't add any additional time to my move, and my things were safely moved into storage. I will be using A Better Tripp again to move my things out of storage and across country! more

Great crew. Great service 8/8/2012

We used a Better Trip when we remodeled our home. We not only needed their moving service but needed to store our furniture for 6 months. From the first phone call and meeting with their sales rep, Rene, to the last piece of furniture being moved in it was all good. The same crew moved us out and then back in. They were very efficient and careful with our belongings. Everything returned in perfect shape 6 months later. We had one mirror re-attached incorrectly, but one phone call was all it took to correct it. They were out the next day to fix it. I would highly recommend them to any of my friends. more

Awesome 7/17/2012

David, I have to be honest, the thought of moving makes me nauseas, especially a long distance move with a bunch of stuff. In fact we had an entire semi load plus an additional truck worth of furniture, clothes, appliances, etc. Your crew did a phenomenal job through the entire process. We had one blip on the loading and packing side, a broken Green Egg, a dented and scratched refrigerator and a stained chair on the unload side. Pretty impressive for loading and packing, unloading and storing, reloading and 900 miles later unloading in 100+ degree heat, especially considering the broken ceramic egg was a complete accident. Mike, Raymond, Terry and Angel were awesome on the unload side. As for the damaged goods, you didnt even bat an eye to take care of it. I would certainly recommend A Better Tripp. Please convey my gratitude to the crew. Thanks Again! The Leesmans more

The best yet 7/9/2012

We have moved five times in the last eight years (hopefully, not again for a long time). This was, by far, the BEST move of all of them. I highly recommend A Better Tripp Moving company. Yes, there was some breakage, and yes there seemed to be some confusion as to unpacking at the end, but in all, this moving company is so far superior to any of the big name ones we have used in the past, that there is just no comparison. We HIGHLY recommend them to you. more
