Don?t even bother!\r I called for service and was told it would be installed on Friday. Basic internet was to cost me in the vicinity of $54.00 per month for internet and phone. Bear in mind this was for DSL internet, about as slow and basic as you can get. \r No one showed up on Friday, no one showed up on Monday, no one showed up on Tuesday. Wednesday I had a competitor (Hargray) install our service. The installer was on time, the job done correctly and the internet speed many times better.\r I called and cancelled the Embark service and was told that it would take five to six weeks to get my deposit back by mail in check form.\r Instead of receiving a return on my deposit I received a bill for $283.74 for service I never received and an installation, which should have been free but was never received.\r Interesting, no service, no install, and a big bill, (much larger than if I had actually received service).\r \r Don?t do business with thieves! These people are the same crooks and scam artists that operated under the name Sprint, and Embark before their reputations caught up with them. Do not be a Victim! \r If you are or have been a victim please do the same as I. It costs very little to file a civil suit against thieves. Much less than paying them to go away. Use your legal right, file your suit and put these crooks in their place.\r more
