I've been going to Kristine since I arrived back in LA from NY almost 3 years ago. I had a great hairstylist and was concerned about finding someone new. I couldn't believe I was so lucky to find something right next door to where I worked and lived. Kristine does a stylish cut not too trendy but one that is complimenting to my features and grows out nicely. She even did a photo shoot for me and I looked fabulous, hair, make-up, even styling...everyone said I looked like I should be in the tv show ""mad men."" Way to go Kristine! you are the best! xoxo more

I've been going to Kristine since I arrived back in LA from NY almost 3 years ago. I had a great hairstylist and was concerned about finding someone new. I couldn't believe I was so lucky to find something right next door to where I worked and lived. Kristine does a stylish cut not too trendy but one that is complimenting to my features and grows out nicely. Most Trustworthy, Friendly, and competent Salon 11/23/2010

Bob Geevar is an absolute artist when it comes to hair styles, and has taken the time to employ some of the friendliest, helpful staff in Los Angeles. He is extremely knowledgeable, and not just in hair. We've have lengthy discussions in areas such as politics, psychology, finance, and the entertainment industry. I have been going to Transcend for almost a decade. in fact I would fly from both Portland, Oregon and Orlando, Florida to have my hair cut by Bob. After seeing what was capable at Transcend Salon, I wouldn't trust anyone else to style my hair. more

I LOVE Transcend! 11/18/2010

I have been going to Transcend for a few years now and it is BY FAR the best salon I've been to in LA. Masood knows exactly what to do with my hair and he takes his time doing it. You can really tell that he cares about his work. Basically, he's awesome. I've sent all of my close friends to him and they have all been super happy with him. Also, Bob is hilarious and makes the salon a fun and friendly place. I can't recommend Transcend enough. :) more

The Best Of The Best 10/21/2010

I have to say that in my life, I have been to the so-called ""best of the best"" of Salons, Cristophe and his best colorist, Francois, Umberto, Etc., and the real ""best of the best"" is Bob. He is a master colorist, the work that he has done on me, and especially my wife, is beyond comparison. When you match that with the most hip and unbelievable cuts, you have the perfect match. I can't rave enough about the abilities of Bob when it comes to envisioning color to match skin tones, highlights that are unlike anything I have seen before, and the innate sense he has for facial structure when he designs his cuts. I, like everyone else in L.A. work in the entertainment industry and I have seen many salons come and go but if you try Bob and Transcend Salon, you will never go anywhere else, trust me! I wish I could publish just a few of the pictures that I have of the cuts and colors that Bob has done for my wife and me, I still can't believe the work he did, shocking! more

Bob clearly knows hair design which makes me feel like I have visited a London salon. The cut and design are art. I have never had better. Color can be subtle or dramatic as customers wish. Got the royal treatment I deserve ... 9/28/2010

I have been coming to Transcend Salon for years, and the service always is warm, friendly, professional and affordable. I usually come in for hair coloring, but an ocassional trim or eyebrow wax have taken place as well. And all their services are excellent. They use top of the line products which they also have available for sale in their beauty supply room. Their supplies are very extensive and flexible in price. Be aware that parking can be of an issue in the area, so arrive early. I say it's totally worth it. I highly recommend them. more

my hair grows fast and its thick, i need hair cut every 2-3 week, before my late wife used to cut my hair who was great hair stylist,from 2004 t0 2007 I have gone to over 50 salon, paid from $20 to $200,one was too short, other one didn`t even touch my hair but gave me good coffee and charge me $200 , and once got hair cut , as soon as left the salon some one told me KEPASO, AMIGO!!!! still I don`t Know why,,lol. finally I find masood, first time with all stress I had, he was calm and listening to me, fastest hair cut I ever had and the best and reasonable price, I highly recommend him, and the place is great , while you are getting hair cut you may enjoy bob`s stories(the owner). Incredible haircut! 12/8/2009

I hadn't cut my hair since I was five. Bob was wonderfully reassuring and sensitive to my anxiety. Then he gave me a fantastic haircut. I wish I had gone to him years ago. Pros: I constant get compliments on my hair more

Awesome cut 12/6/2009

I've been going here for a couple years now and I ALWAYS get an awesome haircut. Bob and his staff make you feel right at home. I recently cut 12 inches off and Bob gave me the perfect cut. I was nervous since I have never had short hair, but Bob assured me i would look great and he was right. I love the short cut and have gotten tons of compliments!! more

I have been going to see Kristine at Transcend for about 5 years now.she is truly a talented artist. she always gives me the most modern cuts, beautiful color ,and highlites .very knowledgeable and very creative listens to what you want and gives you her artistic vision as well.I have never left this salon unhappy reasonable prices ,quality work,friendly and helpful staff. it's more than a beauty salon!!! 11/21/2009

First of all i whould like to mention how wonderfull the staff is. friendly and cool. Then theplace of the salon ! isn't it wonderful to have a coffee or something to drink after a georges haircut? you will find cool places to dine or grab a drink. BUT the most important is that first i walked in to that salon, i found something unique (and trust me i've had haircuts with almost every single hairstylist you'll find in LA, my co-workers and customers get surprised if i wont have a new haircut every week.) first 10 minutes i got consult with Bob about haircut and color., which i never had before, that made me really like the idea of going to him, then the cut that i got , OMG, people start complmenting my hair left and right, starting from 18 to 70 years old people, so what am trying to say with this MSG that he knows what he's doing and it's definetly worth the time and money. i love you Bob. You are a unique individual and amazing hairstylist!!! Pros: The best and truly experienced hairstylist in town Cons: i would say none??? At least i haven't found one. more

A low-key gem! 11/18/2009

I've been going to Marine for waxing treatments ever since I moved to the neighborhood several years ago. Adore her! She's a perfectionist and always tries to make the process as painless as possible. Bikini waxes aren't fun, but with her I don't dread them! I also started going to Kristine for highlights after hearing raves about her. She is A-MAZING! She's done the best color of my life and is worth every penny.
