lmao I cant believe the reviews on this site about JE. Funny stuff. I actually did go to the Jewelry Exchange and had a problem with my ring. stuff happens! and when I took it to get a refund, I did actually talk to Marie and she was such a sweetheart. To the guy that called her a CANT or CENT or whatever vowel replaces the * the problem seems to be with you, not jewelry exchange. good luck in your campaign to smear them though!! rotfl more

Editorial review from Citysearch 7/23/2013

Going through this store has been the biggest disappointment of my life! I will tell everyone I can to avoid this place. Through facebook, Instagram, Pinterest, word of mouth and any way possible, I will warn people to stay away from the Jewelry Exchange/Factory. Steve at the store is a big rude a$$hole. The customer service is horrible! They treat customers like crap. I will not stop warning people from here on out. The reviews sites are going to be loaded too. Marie at coporate is the most incompetent rude horrible excuse for a human being. She needs to retrained on how to deal with customer complaints and needs an overall attitude adjustment. Marie is a total waste and a big C*NT on top of it. more

stay away! 4/16/2012

Went to look for a setting with band. Saw it on the net but after an hour drive discovered they didn't have it and tried to sell us something else. Very unapologetic and even though not at all busy seemed to have had better things to do. Don't waste your time and a good thing I didn't waste my money. more

No zero-star rating, this place deserves it 12/29/2011

I was shocked by my terrible and ongoing experience with this place after so many people I work with recommended it. The staff appear knowledgeable and helpful, except they have no idea what they are talking about and will say and do anything to get your money in their pocket. Once that happens....forget about it. I was dumb enough to go in there knowing nothing about jewelry and paid the price in frustration and getting ripped off. I've had to bring back the engagement ring I bought twice because it was literally falling apart after TWO DAYS on her finger. The staff is outright rude and hostile and just make up lies to get you to go away. Once they realize you aren't buying their excuses and delay tactics they will go into the corner and speak in a different language and glare at you for a few minutes. Their warranty policy is worthless because they don't even do a good job fixing things, I got my ring back bent and scratched when I brought it in to get fixed because the entire back fell off. I don't even know what to do now.... NEVER EVER GO HERE and only tell people you hate to shop here. Any review other than one star is clearly planted by them. more

Bad quality of diamonds and pass them off as higher grades! 10/22/2011

A friend of mine asked me to help him sell an engagement ring he no longer needed because my husband's best friend is a GIA-certified jeweler. He gave me both the ring and the receipt for his purchase from Jewelry Exchange. The price per carat he paid for the N/I1 diamond was about Rappaport prices (any good jeweler should show you the Rappaport market pricing sheet if ask for it) but when he showed me the ring, I was horrified. It was definitely not what I would've expected from an N/I1. Visible black flaws in several spots. When the GIA-certified jeweler looked at it, he said that it was nowhere close to an N/I1 stone. He would grade it at a P/I4. BIG DIFFERENCE! The jeweler also commented that Jewelry Exchange is known for their crappy stones and how they present them as something better. They are not GIA-graded and will present their stones as whatever they want. Not honest at all! My friend is getting offered 20-25% of what he paid for it now. Nobody wants to buy it - jewelers, private sales, etc. Stay away from this place! more

Beware - These People are Frauds 10/14/2011

First lets start with the tv add that shows the employees standing in a parking lot waving. The building they are standing in front of is not their show room, who knows what it is. Anyway, drove an hour to get there to find out contrary to their tv add that they had one diamond in the range I was looking for and it was so flawed that I could see the yellow with my naked eye. When I asked the associate where the rest were like in the tv add she said ""that's it"". She was also very rude and not helpful at all. Tried to sell me a stone costing twice as much. Do not waste your time shopping there, local or not. They are rude and deceptive, both in their advertising and in person. more

Best Place to Buy Diamonds 6/25/2011

We visited the Jewelry Exchange today for a birthday gift. The sales associates were friendly and very knowlegeable. \r They are not pushy. They listen to your needs and price target and try to advise on the best bang for the buck.\r This is the second time we have bought a piece of diamond jewelry from them and have been thrilled with our purchases. I would strongly recommend that you visit their store. more

DON'T RISK IT!!! 9/7/2010

These people sell unsuspecting men engagement rings that are flawed! Cloudy, specked and cracked. The man takes it home to his girl friend and sincerely asks her to marry him and she says yes but as soon as she looks at the ring sees it's terrible. He's proud of himself and how is she supposed to tell him that it's awful. They have a No Return Policy and you can only exchange it within 30 days. If that's what they sold him in the first place what can they expect to get in an exchange? They also, don't give any authenticity certification so you might be getting a rock from the parking lot.\r \r MEN, DON'T SHOP HERE FOR THE MOST IMPORTANT GIFT YOU'LL EVER GIVE YOUR LOVED ONE!!!! more

Horrible Service 10/23/2008

My boyfriend purchased a very expensive diamond ring from the jewelry factory September 14th 2008. He was promised the diamond back in his hands and set within 7 to 10 business days. He received the ring today Oct. 23, 2008. Last weekend on our 2 year anniversary he had plans to propose. He lost money on canceling the room and time off from work when he still did not have the ring by Friday afternoon. The Jewelry Factory mailed the ring to the wrong address and did not even bother to put a name on the package, it was going to my boyfriends work. Somehow they sent it to the old address for the business. How would they even get that?? My boyfriend was able to get it at the post office after pleading with them since he didnt have anything with that wrong address on it and there was no name on the package. The salespeople at the Jewelry Factory said it wasnt their fault and were rude about it. How is sending it to the wrong address not their fault? Corporate was even ruder. I would NEVER go back there again and advise everyone to do the same. more
