ABOSOLUTLY THE WORST COMPANY EVER!!!!!!!!\r \r please do your self a favor and NEVER use them as your breathalyzer. This is the most unreasonable and elusive company that I have ever dealt with. Their units are very temperamental and their fees are ridiculous. more

I wish I would of read these reviews first! SAFE HARBOR is the biggest rip off. They are taking advantage of people who are unfortunate to have a DUI! Their equipment is old, dirty and out dated. Do yourself a favor and run from this company. Even if you pay more up front somewhere else this company will screw you over and your going to pay more here while being treated like a dirt. Xtreme Audio in Mesa is the retailer I used and they are just as rude and crooked. I have never dealt with such shady people in my life! more

So...Last Week SAFE HARBOR INTERLOCK schedules the removal of the device TODAY based on MVD dates, then Calls me TODAY to state that they made a mistake and that i can't get it removed until tomorrow. Cost for changing the appointment $50. Absolutely rediculous. Moral of this story, DON'T USE SAFE HARBOR INTERLOCK. Over the year they have cost me at least $500 more dollars in hidden fees and false readings! more

Worst company you can ever go with. Run for the hills 12/21/2011

This company acts like they are helping you but once you pay them you are screwed. They charge you $4.00 for a phone call. Charge $35.00 if you miss an appointment and $5.00 for each day you don't pay up, The machine is not accurate and every time you make any mistake like your car stalls or you get gas and the fumes get near the interlock you are considered in violation. Then after three violations you get the privilege of paying a lawyer to not add another year to your sentence= Interlock for yet another year. You are at their mercy and it is right where they want you. It is the biggest money maker I have ever seen. I am so screwed and I have not drank one drop of alcohol since the incident two years ago. It doesn't matter. You are screwed. more

Do your research and do not be lured in by the promise of free install/removal as I was. 2 years later and I am met with the same condescending rude & un - empathetic attitude as the other posters. In 2 years I had one complaint that I wanted to dispute and was immediately spoke to as though it was my fault. They got a violation fine AND late fees PLUS a re-scheduling fee from me all in the last 30 days. They are un-professional and take advantage of your situation not matter who you are or how you came to this punishment. More money in the pockets of these 3rd party providers. Definitely stay away, do your research, and go elsewhere to full fill this obligation to the State of Arizona. If you currently have the misfortune of dealing with these twits - don't talk to Katrina or Laura. Each of them could care less about your situation. more

I agree with what other posters have said. I too was charged two times with a penalty fee for a malfunctioning controller. My log file had numerous errors due to improper installation. I also had the same problem another poster had when getting my removal date. I was also one day off but they gave me some bull$hit about having to rent the unit another month. So I ended up paying another month of fees. They are also unhelpful, rude, discourteous, and just downright immature. Don't bother trying to call the owner as you will never reach him/her. My guess is that the person that owns this place is a criminal for the way he robs you. It is one thing to pay for your crime of DUI and its completely another to have someone rip you off. more


STAY AWAY YOU HAVE BEEN WARNED!! They will start out nice on the phone, lure you in, offer payment plans do the install....then it's too late. They have you! You have no leverage or they simply threaten your license. I paid my year of dues in full at the install date. I went thru the whole year with several devie problems that safeharbor was unhelpful with but made it thru. The time finally arrived to have the device removed. They tell me to go to AZ MVD and get a date AND time when it is safe to remove the device. Apparently if it is removed a minute early you get another year! I got my date and according to safe harbor my AZMVD removal date was hours later than their computer date for the year of service. They once again threatened my license if i didn't pay for another full month of service $90 to be exact. They won't even offer you to pay for the extra day of service it must be a month the nastly lady in the office says. SO, i paid with my credit card and later disputed the charges AFTER my license was cleared. NOW they call ad threaten collections...this comany sux balls bigtime. I hope they all burn in hell more

horrible front line service 6/1/2011

The first person you speak with when calling the main number needs to go to Customer Service School 101. I had overheard my husband during several phone calls to her and was initially embarassed to hear him arguing with her and when he would get off the phone he would tell me how condescending and unhelpful she was. I found it hard to believe that she could be that bad, until I had a reason to call myself. I was looking for help and answers as we were given misinformation by one of the installers. She did not seem to care that a representative of her company gave misinformation, and implied that it was my problem now and if I didn't get it fixed in the next 3 hours we were going to be stuck with another year obligation on the device at $80/month. She knows the ins and outs of this business but for the ""offenders"" this is all new and the company needs to have someone patient and considerate on the front line, not someone with an attitude who assumes we know how this all works. . more
