We called Roto-Rooter when the main sewer line of our three-bathroom Hamilton Township home became clogged in late August 2015. Plumber Joe Cerami was promptly dispatched and arrived exactly when promised. He was communicative, personable, and worked quickly and efficiently. After unclogging our trap, replacing our pipe caps, and advising on maintenance and troubleshooting, he left us feeling confident in our understanding of the situation and with a very reasonable bill. Definitely using Roto-Rooter again, and Joe Cerami if available. more

Was very happy & relieved that Roto Rooter was once again able to come out so quickly and resolve our issue (water is basement above ankles!!) Jeff Tech # 0197 was able to get our pump working temporally almost instantly and the water began to drain. I was then given 2 options, rig / fix unit or replace.... pricing on both seemed very fair, however, I chose to replace because of the age of the unit. Jeff had the new unit with him it only took an hour to install & straighten out the piping. Was able to get to bed before 11pm so I was happy! Jeff was super nice & I wish him luck with the new baby on the way! more

I called Roto-Rooter late on a Sunday about a clogged kitchen sink drain and a foul smell coming from that same drain. They scheduled a plumber to come to my house in Horsham the next morning between 8 and 10. The dispatcher called me twice the next morning confirming the appointment and to let me know the plumber was due to arrive.\r \r The plumber was very friendly and knowledgable. He jumped right in and unclogged the drain using a 50 ft plumbing snake. He also supplied me with a gallon job of pipe cleaning solution.\r \r He was in and out within 45 minutes, gave me great tips, and kept my kitchen clean and neat!\r \r My kitchen sink drain is working great now - no more clog or foul smell. I would recommend this Roto-Rooter office to anyone in need of emergency plumbing work!!! more

I noticed water leaking on my laundry room floor and bathroom and thought I'd burst a pipe, then realized my drain was backed up. \r \r I called Roto Rooter and Clinton arrived within the time frame they promised and carefully and professionally explained to me what had happened: my sewage pipe had fractured at the foundation and I would need to have the pipe replaced. He showed me the grim details through a video of the pipe. Not a pretty site. \r \r While I wasn't happy with the news, he calmly provided several options for what could be done and the time frame. He gave me a realistic picture of best and worst case and a price which, when I considered what had to be done was not bad after thinking about what was involved. \r \r We agreed to do what is known as a ""pipe burst"" and I signed the contract and he told me the crew would arrive and finish the job in one day.. I found that hard to believe but the crew arrived on time, and Kevin, Joe and Keith were as professional and friendly and focused on the job at hand as Clinton was. \r \r They started at 8 am and the work was completed by 4 pm and I have a brand new sewer line which should give me many more years of trouble free service, and there are only two small patches where they had to dig. They saved my pavers and the sidewalk...Amazing!! The guys carefully explained every step of the job, and each man seemed to do his job in perfect step with the others. Very little wasted time. \r \r I strongly recommend Roto-Rooter (especially the team from Levittown PA) if you have a plumbing / sewage or water problem. They obviously have the team, the training AND the tools to do the job right. I have contracted with a wide variety of companies for everything from excavating to plumbing and electrical and these guys are in my top 5 for work done...and you don't want to take chances with a sewer line that's for sure. \r \r Thanks very much for a job extremely well done. more

Called Roto Rooter for a clogged drain line, their customer service was amazing, they answered the questions I had right away. I had an appointment scheduled for between 1pm and 3pm, around 1250 got a call from customer service saying that their service technician was on his way. When Keith showed up he was extremely courteous and professional, he quickly diagnosed the problem explained what he had to do to fix it, and then quickly got to work fixing the problem. more

Roto-Rooters Plumbers January 13, 2013 Philadelphia\r Service was top notch from the time i called them. Called at 1pm on Playoff Football Sunday and Tony was at our house by 3:45pm. He came in listened, figured out the problem within 15 minutes. Cleaned our very clogged drain, and also gave us a few tips on how to maintain them. Tony made our first Roto-Rooter experience a very pleasant one. We will definitely be using them again, if needed.\r Ask for TONY!! more

Roto-Rooter Plumbers 6/1/12 Everything was going wrong in my life and my families lives. My son recently had two major surgeries, we were having issues with our cars, everywhere we looked something was going wrong, or falling apart. Then, our pipes decided to clog up and stop working. I was so frustrated and stressed that I couldn???t figure out what to do. So I figured I should call the plumber and put the whole situation behind me and my family. We live in the outskirts of Philadelphia, so we called Roto-Rooter of Levittown. I knew they were going to have to do a lot of work, and I was afraid that it was going to cost a lot. When the technician got to my home, the first thing I noticed was how polite and upbeat he was. He made our days a little better simply by being positive, which we needed badly. The technician spent three hours being thorough and he checked all of the house for problems with the plumbing. He even helped me move a heavy lizard cage I was cleaning just out of kindness. Anyway, the technician finished up the job, gave me the bill, and I was beyond excited when I saw how little Roto-Rooter had charged me! I almost cried because of how low the price was! more

We wre extremely satisfied with service, quality and pricing. The techs worked very hard to identify our plumbimg issue and offered detailed explenations on what was wrong as well as solutions. The quote for the price was the lowest we got and the work was done in a professional manner. They came within the window promised and cleaned up after themselves. Out tech (Keith) patiently answered all the questions from our home warranty company. I really appreciated that! I know I will call RotoRooter in Levittown if I ever had plumbing problems in the future. more

This service PROFESSIONAL was on time, understanding of my situation and wonderful to deal with, We are selling our home and have recently gotten an offer. The home inspection is coming up and just in time for that, the kitchen drain totally clogged and no "" over-the-counter"" product worked ( I tried 3 different ones !) Finally, I called Roto-Rooter and they sent Keith over. Keith diagnosed the problem right away, offered me several options for the amount of the job based on warranty length, and promptly resolved the problem with my drain. Great job!! I went online and made a apointment for the same day for a blocked pipe, Keith was ontime and had the pipe opened and running in less the 2 hours. He showed me the problem in the pipe which was tree roots and exspaided what needed to be done to fix the problem permently. He was a true pro. Will be calling back to have the pipe replaced. Best plumbing company around. 3/3/2012

Hello! My name is Sarah T. I live in Philadelphia, PA and I recently had a sewage issue in my basement on 2/29/12. I needed a plumber and my grandson recommended that I call Roto-Rooter. He told me they did good work at his house, they give free estimates and they have very reasonable prices. I called and a worker named Keith ID#985 was sent to do the repair within an hour from my call. He was a very nice and professional young man. He explained everything to us in detail from beginning to end and even offered tips to prevent the problem from happening again. I had a great experience with roto-rooter and would recommend them to everyone more

Professional, Neat & Quick January 30th 2012 1/30/2012

I had a back up problem as result from a broken trap and riser (underground) that needed replacing. Sean and Keith were professional, courteous and neat. Arrived near time promised and started immediately. There was a misunderstanding created by the first plumber that came out to initially diagnose the situation. However, Mark Tanney a supervisor who came out to check the work has promised that all will be rectified to my satisfaction within 30 days. I thought their price was a little high $3,200 for the job. But to be fair in this emergency situation I really didn't have time to compare prices with anyone else. I had used them before for a clogged drain in my rear driveway and was satisfied. When in an emergency situation and not being able to use ANY plumbing throughout your house you want to pick a reputable service that stands by their name and by their word. So far I feel Rotor Rooter fits that by their speedy and professional actions. more

Keith the plumber did a great job of opening a clogged drain in my bathroom sink. Before beginning the work, he explained in detail what he would do and potential problems or complications that might occur -- old Philadelphia house, lead pipe blues -- and he worked carefully and neatly. Happily, he was able to clear the drain and left virtually no mess afterward. My only quibble is the cost -- Nearly $300 (AFTER a 15% discount!) for a service call of less than one hour seems awfully steep, even with a 6 month guarantee. more

Exceptional Job! 12/6/2011

I recently had my main sewer line replaced by RotoRooter. I have large maple trees on my property, so when sewage began to back up in my basement, I expected that just having some tree roots snaked out of the pipe would do the trick. The service technician worked on the backed up pipe for HOURS that evening, but still wasn't able to unblock it. more
