Tattoo Perfection 7/16/2010

While browsing the web one day, I was blessed to come upon Perfection Dermagraphics. I saw Steven Knights artwork, and was hooked. I made an appointment, met Steven, and was made to feel like a part of their family. Steven Knight is a world class artist. He takes the time to understand what you want to express, and brings your vision to life. I'm currently working with him on my second tattoo, and I encourage everyone reading this to make Perfection Dermagraphics your first choice. Best Permanent Makeup - Kate Ciampi 4/9/2010

I was very hesitant to get my eyebrows tattooed. This is a big step for me as I have no tattoos at all and it is on my face. Kate acknowledged this right away so I instantly trusted her even though I came recommended by a friend who had her eyeliner done there. I looked through books of both makeup artists work and I knew I was in the right place. They turned out great. I am not sure if I am ready for anything else but for now, I no longer have to worry about my eyebrows smearing off this summer! Pros: professional, confident, friendly more

A true artist - Stephen Knight 2/19/2010

If you want to get that one tattoo that says "this is who I am" Perfection is the place and Stephen Knight is the artist! My birthday gift was going to be a work of art that matched my vision of myself. I went to Perfection and spent a few minutes with Stephen. He understood exactly what I wanted. We had planned a couple of sessions just to design the tattoo. He called me back with his design ideas already sketched out on paper. I made a few changes, that he was only too happy to incorporate and three sessions later I walked out of their immaculate studios with a true work of art -- so beautiful, I asked him to sign it for me. I love my tattoo! 5/19/2009

While I live in the city, I chose Perfection Dermagraphics because I have friends who have been tattooed there. Their prices are so much cheaper than some of the Chicago shops but the talent flows deep and they are not intimidating there. I felt welcome immediately and I really think they listed to their customers. Thank you for the great experience. Summer tattoo show season is near! Best tattoo in the Chicago area 12/31/2008

Thinking I needed to drive into the city for a good tattoo I checked out several places only to find the best tattoo studio ever was right in my own back yard in Des Plaines! I was lucky enough to attend a tattoo convention at the Hyatt in Chicago to view the work of many artists. Not only was it cool that Perfection Dermagraphics has great artists but they picked up a couple of trophies for really great tattoos. After working with me for a long time over artwork (sometimes it is hard to get across what is on my mind and they were all helpful and very patient) I ended up with a tattoo that exceeded anything I had hoped it would be. What A Great Place 6/23/2008

What a great non-descript place. It looks and feels like a doctors office. Clean, well organized, nicely appointed with accessories. Most certianly heads and hands above other tattoo salons I've seen. The cosmetic tattooist was very knowledgeable, very capable, very professional. With out a doubt I will go back again. more

Best tattoo experience ever! 7/26/2007

I went in thinking I would just pick something from a wall of designs but was stoked to find out that they pretty much customize whatever I would want. We worked on a few ideas and I came back to check the artwork. At that point I couldn't wait to get it done! It rocked! I have one more sitting before it is finished and if we quit today, I still would have the best tattoo I have ever seen. Pros: Nice staff, moderate prices, very clean more

Nothing to say other than I love my tattoo! As a medical professional and an artist, I am certainly picky as to where I would consider getting my tattoos. This was a no brainer! tattooing made simple 2/25/2007

There was no doubt in my mind when I first went through the front door. The staff were friendly and willing to help with my very first tattoo idea. I haven't gone to any other tattoo parlor's, but I did do some extensive research looking up reviews and online portfolios. Just talking to these guys at perfection made me realize that this is the right place to get one and the only place for me to go. The environment was clean and simple. Everything was nicely organized and the people working there definitely knew their stuff. I would definitely recommend this place to anyone wanting to get any tatooing done. Pros: cleanliness is not a question, it is super clean, well lit environment, plenty of parking, quiet neighborhood, great customer service Cons: its too hard to think of any more

Tattooin' in the burb's 2/24/2007

This is a safe and clean tattoo shop. They really do a great job keeping the shop clean and ONLY use disposables. The service at perfection dermagraphics is excelent, there's always someone there to help you and everyone's friendly. I know some people feel intimidated when walking into a new tattoo shop, but this shop is very welcoming. On an ending note, Rush is work is off the heezzie. I can't say enough about Perfection Dermagraphics. The CLEANEST tattoo parlor you will ever experience. The talent and pride along with outstanding proffesionalism there is incredible. Private rooms,great staff,and the ability to come up with some of the best art work you'll ever want. You won't get pounded with ink here or have a bone grinder working on you. Client comfort is key as well as sanitation. I will never go anywhere else and do not let any of my friends,family or even people I meet on a night out go anywhere else until they have at least visited the shop and met everyone there. What a refreshing change from your typical tattoo parlor. When you walk into this place, you first think "Is this a tattoo studio?!?!?" But that thought doesn't last very long. The crew at Perfection Dermagraphics has raised the bar for all tattoo studio, and demonstrates what *ALL* tattoo studios can and should be. Pros: Too many to list, but include clean, safe, private tattoo rooms, talented artists, an experience that is unlike any other. Cons: If you want scratch work, you won't get it here. more

They claim to be the NW suburbs best kept secret but I wanna shout out their name! I got such a great tattoo it makes my other ones I have ook awful - gonna have Stephen Knight fix those up for me, too! I didn't realize it was not supposed to hurt so bad - he has a great touch and was done in no time. It healed in perfectly and needs no touching up at all!! The place is so clean - all private studios and all disposable stuff, they even wear disposable aprons there. I felt safe and comfortable and left with a great tattoo!!
