Elan was 100% honest. 2/10/2011

I have a 19 year daughter as USC and just recently purchased a 2007 BMW 328i in Texas for her to have in school there in Los Angele's. She had a warning light on and took it to Nick Alexander BMW and worked with Elan. Elan recommended some other maintenance work that was not essential but recommended in taking care of her car. I later learned if it would not have been taken care of now it would have needed to have been done soon. Elan dealt with me and my daughter and was extremely professional and helpful. He reviewed the maintenance issues and consistently called me with any updates. He also went the extra mile to make sure my daughter was well taken care of. Before I wrote this review, I called BMW Headquarters and other people to make sure everything done was needed and not under warranty or other maintenance coverage I may have had. Everything done was recommended and Elan was 100% honest. I live in Dallas and wanted to make sure my daughter was taken care of correctly and she definitely was. Hopefully Elan will be there a long time or until my daughter graduates so he can continue taking care of her! more

I have continually had a grate experience with Alexander imports, particularly with my on going service adviser Jeffrey Manarang. They always do a superb job for me and in a timely manner. They are doing a grate job overhauling the cooling system on my BMW X5. This is also where i got this car form, this will also be were i get my new BMW I'm in the market for. They also do a grate gob detailing my car. more

We bought my wife's BMW335I here. The staff is great and overall the customer service is excellent. What really pushes my rating to 5 stars is the service department. Jeffrey Manarang in particular takes care of us and he is on point and knows his stuff. The car is always ready when he says and is still driving like new. I would definitely recommend this place!! more

I sit here today a very satisfied and grateful customer, all thanks to my man Elan I drove in today around 10:30 a little wary and cautious because of a few bad experiences with other dealerships who were either rude, sneaky, slow, etc. I had two punctured tires and had just a couple hours until I had to head over to work in downtown. I was prepared to have to leave my car there overnight and just deal with the fact that there was going to be a long wait since the place was bustling with post-holiday customers. But Elan completely changed my expectations by being quick, courteous, and just so helpful. He understood my situation of having to go to work and got straight to business. Unlike other places where the service reps take their sweet time filling out paperwork or leave you sitting in a chair with no idea what's going on, Elan hustled and was even jogging from point A to point B to get me in and out as soon as possible. about 2 hours later i had me two new tires, complimentary new windshield wipers, and a free car wash to redeem another time when i'm not in such a rush. i'll definitely be coming back here for all my beemer troubles. Outstanding customer service 1/10/2011

I just had my Mini repaired here and it was the best experience I've ever had at a service shop. The service was practically seamless: the woman handling the repair shop reservations was knowledgable and made me feel like my problem would be solved; I dropped off my car, they had a complementary car rental ready for me, there was no paperwork when dropping off the car, and everybody knew what they were doing. The staff was very friendly, very professional and well-trained in customer service. I was taken care of by Phil Gibson....a shout-out to him. Both my buying experience and service experience here has been outstanding. more

The service department here is the best!! The closest BMW service center to me is Beverly Hills BMW, and I still choose to drive the extra distance to service my car at Nick Alexander. more

A review praising excellence 1/2/2011

I was in the market for a new Mini Cooper S hard top and I thought I had an excellent deal with one of Nick's competitors. I was just about to take ownership of it but then I remembered all of those great commercials that Elizabeth Alexander does on AM1070 while driving to work. I really like that personal touch she conveyed. So I instant messaged and met this salesman online named Joshua Ross and explained what I was looking for. Within about an hour he showed me via email an incredible Mini Cooper S that was far superior to the one I was suppose to pick up. He also sent along an incredible quote that beat any competitor's one. I immediately drove from Long Beach to the downtown LA dealership, shook hands, did the paperwork and in about 25 minutes, the Cooper was mine. Just incredible! Frankly, I hate car shopping! I feel as though I am always being swindled, but the experience with Josh was the exact opposite. Josh was patient, understanding and willing to help me any way he could with this purchase. He reassured me that we were entering a long-term relationship and not just a one-time purchase. He gave me his personal mobile number and said I could call him if I had any questions or problems. He then handed me over to this talented young man named Junior Mercado. What can't I say about this guy? First, he's smart, knows the Mini brand inside and out and is able to answer any and every question on the fly about the Cooper. Since I came from a simple car, the Mini presented me with an electronic learning curve. Junior answered all my tough questions and helped me get acquainted with the Bluetooth, Satellite and Mobile phone systems. The next day, I was still a bit confused and I phoned Junior. We arranged a time and I came back to the dealership whereby he patiently sat with me in the car and went over all of the features once again. He even walked me around the car and answered mechanical questions as well. What encyclopedic knowledge this young gentleman has! It is not often that I write a letter praising excellence. However, this time around, it was well deserved! I am not only excited and proud to be a member of the Alexander dealership customer family, but I am also referring all of my family and friends for their car buying needs. more

Can't tell you how pleased i am with the folks at Nick Alexander Imports. From Mercedes to Audi, i've owned them and had them serviced by their in-house mechanics - and it's always a surprise. You feel like you're getting ripped. With Nick Alexander in house mechanics you can't find better car service professionals. Or maybe it's just my guy over there - Phil Gibson - he not only arranged to pick up my car in a flat bed but ensured i had a loaner for $0. And the service was done when they promised it'd be done. Again $0. Give the man a raise! more

I LOVE Nick Alexander BMW!!!! When I bought my BMW back in 2007 I went to other dealers and their service was lousy! I walked into Nick's and the deal was done in over an hour. The service department is excellent, Jeffery M. is the best!!!! He's always helpful and always gets my problems solved. Ask for Jeffery on your next service visit!!!! more

I had the best experience at the Mini Alexander dealer yesterday. Phil Gibson was my service attendant and was thorough with explaining my mini needs. He was also very patient and answered all my questions. A loaner car was provided and I was in and out quickly. I recommend Mini Alexander to all. I just got some wiper blades at the parts store but the service was excellent and the guy who helped me out, I think his name was Rudy was fantastic. He actually took time to come out from behind the counter and put the blades in my mini, and even showed me some tips on changing them myself next time. So thanks to Rudy for all his help. Jeffrey Manarang in the service department goes above and beyond the call of service to his customers. I have been working with him for many years now and i will contiue to do so as long as i have BMW cars. I will not go to any other service center, but Nick Alxeander and only work with Jeff. My service advisor was Jeff, he took the time to explain everything that my warranty covered, he went detail by detail to make me feel like if I was talking to my friend about my car. His service was one of a kind. I couldn't believe that he went the distance to recommend services that were not even part of the schedule maintenance. His attention to detail, follow-up and follow-through, and excellence in individualized my care for my vehicle is unlike any service advisor I have ever interacted with. The rest of the staff was also amazing. As soon as I went in to the waiting area they welcome you "good morning", and even ask you if you care for premium coffee. I never in my life had any type of service like Nick Alexander BMW has provided. Jeff and the rest of the staff took ownership and show that they truly care for one not only as a customer but as a friend. I recommend everyone that owns a BMW to get your service here, you will be blown away at the experience they provide, none other out-there will match what Jeff and Nick Alexander has done for me today and if you don't own a BMW then you have more of a reason to drop by check out their deals and hopefully you can become part of this family. more

I went to get my 135i serviced today and I was extremely pleased with the service from start to finish. Elan was my Service Advisor and he did an excellent job of getting me into a rental, informing me on the status of the repairs throughout the day, and having the vehicle ready on time. Elan even got the vehicle completely detailed for me and it looks absolutely fantastic. I would definitely recommend both Nick Alexander Imports and Elan as a Service Advisor for anyone who needs any maintenance on their BMW. more

Good facility? 9/16/2010

I've leased two Mini Coopers (the first in 2003) through Nick Alexander and have had consistently good experiences here. Phil Gibson, the service advisor, is extremely knowledgable and takes the time to inform you of what's going on, what the car needs and what your options are. Yes, it's a bit of a schlep from where I live, but they've always offered me a loaner car (for free) or a shuttle ride home. I really like the new dedicated Mini facility too. more
