Nothing about this restaurant was pleasant. This is coming from someone who is relatively easy to please. The food was bland and the service was horrendous. At one point, I spilled my water glass--when I informed the waiter of this he said he would clean it up--he never got around to it. We ended up cleaning the water up ourselves. My boyfriend and I couldn't figure out how this place could stay in business. It was, by far, the worst dining experience ever!!! We would have had a better time at home, eating a microwaved veggie burger! Save yourself--STAY AWAY!!! more

i have no doubt n saying this is the worst place i ever tried for food.very unprofessional people.manager at the front-big women is very rude.food is very suboptimal, place looks unhygenic(saw roches),saw waiters picking there nose.gross. would never go there again.if u guys have concern about hygeine,care about ur money,want to have decent meal--then this is not the place for u.if there was a star less than one i would choose that. more

The four movers that came over only one of them (foreman) spoke decent English. The rest of the guys were completely unskilled and seemed like they hired day laborers. Therefore we had plenty of damage to our furniture. Aside from paying top dollars for this move they also overcharged us for materials which it really wasn't necessary. more

Since I had already moved across country, a friend agreed to contact a moving company to ship my stuff. I spoke with Sam on the phone, he took my credit card information, and billed me for the $200 deposit. As soon they took my property into their possession, however, they refused to take any further credit card payments--demanding either cash or certified check. Further, because I had not signed a contract with them, they insisted that I sign one ASAP and fax back to them. I told them that until we could resolve the payment issue, I would not sign. Edgar, the dispatcher, stated that if that was the case "we don't have your property." I have filed a complaint with the Massachusetts Attorney's General office, and plan to aggressively pursue this matter. This company is truly awful--I'm go to take them to court. I don't even know where to begin with these scumbags. They sound very nice on the phone but don't be fooled, these people are CAREER CRIMINALS, sadly only one company among what has become an epidemic in NYC. Made up mostly of illegal Israeli immigrants, these companies hide behind outdated laws and prey upon people making long-distance moves. They are currently being investigated by the FBI and I hope every one of these dirtbags like David and Asher Malka, Sam and Edgar all get their heads beaten in with a brick. I was outright EXTORTED out of $1500 in a very slick, PROFESSIONAL CON. more

This company is so atrocious. I wish I had known that before we hired them. They were late picking up, claimed bogus overage fees, tried to charge us twice the estimated price (despite us giving them LESS than originally estimated), gave us 2 hours notice for deliver, and then put our possessions in storage when we wouldn't pay the inflated price on the spot. 18 days later, our belongings are still in storage and they will not redeliver. Do yourself a huge favor and avoid New York Certified Approved Movers! more

I moved yesterday and chose this horrible moving company after thinking I was getting a great deal from Sam. They took of advantage of me.Sacha,Sam AND THE OWNER WERE ALL LIARS AND DISRESPECTFUL! I had a move scheduled with this company on June 22. They called me on June 18th in the afternoon, and told me there had been an "oversight" that the price was 125 instead of 108 per hour, that it was a 5 hours minimum + 1hour travel time instead of the 3hours minimum and 1/2 hour travel time I was told when I booked. Huge difference.... I told them that I called them on June 13th to check out everything and that the initial pricing was confirmed. They did not want to move from their rate increase. So I switched company and I am going to use Oz Moving. Oz provided me within five minutes of booking with an email confirmation (http://www.certifiedmovers.net - World Moving Scam Company told me they don't send a confirmation.... Now I know why... It gives them all the freedom to change prices at the last minute). Oz also gave me a voucher for about 6 free boxes. more

Came here once before for a party and liked the food a lot so I brought my husband back with a coupon from Restaurant(dot)com. We presented the coupon before ordering and the waiter said he would take it at the end, once we had ordered the minimum $40 worth of food. The service was slow, but we didn't care because the food was good. However, when we handed over the coupon at the end of the meal, the server argued that our non-alcoholic drinks didn't count towards the minimum. This restriction was not indicated on the coupon and he knew when we ordered we were trying to reach the minimum, so he should have told us the drinks didn?t apply then. We asked for a manager; another waiter came over, said the same thing and said the owner wouldn't apply the coupon. We argued some more, stood our ground, and they finally brought the bill with the applied discount, without apology. We paid cash to avoid sitting their longer, but not before I visited the bathroom...to find FECES on the floor! It was disgusting, will never go back more

I called flat rate moving in tears after a different moving service that I booked didn't show up! I was surprised and relieved to find out that flat rate did in fact put me on a waiting list for a day that was fully booked and called back shortly after to let me know they will be happy to accommodate my move after a slight change in their schedule. The following day, the crew actually arrived AND ON TIME! The crew did a great job. They were efficient, competent and friendly. I've moved 4 times in the last 6 years, and this was by far my best experience with movers. more

Our stuff never made it there. We called every day for 3 weeks to get some answers. They either put us on hold, or told us they'd call back. We had to call them every time and they were also rude and unapologetic on the phone. They kept saying it will arrive in 2-3 days and finally it took them 23 days to deliver our stuff from the days that were promised. We had to live in a hotel for that time for which they did not reimburse us for. Some boxes were crushed and a desk and table scratched. On the day when they were supposed to deliver our stuff they actually brought somebody else?s furniture. This was the entire truck load. Half way into the job I realized that this wasn?t my stuff and they had to load it back up and send it back. Since we live in a very strict building we had to pay a fee for setting up the second move. You would think that they would cover the entire fee but they chose to cover only half. This was huge inconvenience and a run-around. Also both of us lost one extra day at work which they apparently don?t care for. Good thing that they are doing is they are sending their repair guys to fix our floors after their movers damaged with the dollies. more

I recently used http://CertifiedMovers.net to move from California to DC. On average, I move once every 18 mos, so I'm pretty familiar with the whole routine. My experience with Flat Rate was gravely disappointing for a few reasons: a) The charged nearly $400 more than the quoted price, b) they delivered our stuff a week late, c) they lost two of our boxes, and d) they have not responded to any of my attempts to try to find our lost stuff. more

They broke everything. I can't reach anyone, they ignore me. My favorite Lamp is gone and luca has been so rude to me. So much damage has been caused due to their lack of skills. Please beware, they are a new company I have learned. Very inexperienced. Dont use this company! more

We were there around 12.45PM. There was no label for each items on the buffet and when we ask the cashier, he doesn't know the name of some of the food. He went inside the kitchen to find out and didn't come out with the info. He was on the phone all that time. The food was cold, I asked one of the staff to heat up my food in the microwave, he said yes and went inside the kitchen but didn't return. Left me standing and waiting for 2minutes. Then I asked who I believe is a chef came out to check on buffet. He was rude and totally refuse to heat my food in the plate, instead of accomadating and apologizing. Palak Paneer tasted sour, never had palak paneer so bad like they served. It taste like they made it with old milk. I did not enjoy my lunch that time. I guess they don't care about customer service since they keep getting the business. Once was very good, it is now ancient history. Not going there anymore. more

Went to this place on July 4th with family after the fireworks and had the worst experience ever. The waiters were extremely rude. One person dropped the menu and the next waiter came right after to ask us if we were ready. The waiters kept strolling up an down the restaurants acting busy, while a another person with a hat kept bringing peoples food from the kitchen. We could never quite figure out who was our server was since three waiters came to clear the table as we were in the middle of our dinner. We actually had to raise our voices when it was clear to the waiters that we wer actually working on our food. The place looked quite unhygenic as well. The child seat belt was broken, the bathroom floor was all wet (had to actually tip-toe around). When the bill finally arrived we figured why the service was so bad. The gratuity is included for parties or 4 and above. The fat lady at the counter hardly cared about your experience or your complaints. As we were complaining about our experience, she hardly lifted her head above from counting some one else's bill. Am extremely surprised that this place is still in business, especially with some other excellent restaurants around. Would never visit this place again. more
