Kindred Hospital The Heights

I am so excited to know that the doctor said I can go home today. I don't have any favorites but every one has been nice .i have be blessed by these special people here at this hospital. I just wanted to closer to the Lord. I learned about life if you intend to live you can't give up. You must stay connected to the vine. I cast my cares on the Lord. Can't wait to have my fudruckers turkey burger. I have been thinking about it for a long time.I just hate that the hospital across the street lost my walking cane. I really need it to go home. The young lady here said she will try and do something to help me.i just don't have any problems with anybody here . One of the ladies told me yesterday that I was the best patient she ever had, I am not here to complain and carry on, I simply want the mind of Christ .Thank you all for taking care of me. more

My husband has been here since April and I tell you everyone has been so nice to us, today he is leaving to go to the forum under hospice and I just wish you guys had hospice here . I don't want to start calling names because I may forget someone. I just wish we could stay here, I know we all have to die, he is now starting to tell me he loves me after over 60 years of marriage we've been to hell and back. Thanks to everyone for the great care for my husband. more

Although I don't have any one in particular to compliment , everyone here is doing what they should do when it comes to taking care of me. The young lady who comes by and checks in on me really makes a difference, I tell her not to forget about me and she doesn't . If everyone keeps doing what they are doing this will continue to be a great hospital with great care. more

I have been here since April 27th and I am having a good stay I am eager though to get to my only child's graduation in June. The wound care team is working together to get me healed. Todd and Julie are doing a great job with me.The staff has really been nice and I appreciate everyone. more

I am writing this letter to let you know about the good people here on your staff, although I am ready to go home they still treat me good. I would like to name these people for taking such good care of me... I want to say thank you to all the nurses that cared for me. This has been a good stay the nurses attended to me as soon as they could and I want to say a special thank you to the case manager Jackie and to Jim the nurse aide, Jim is the most caring guy you would ever want to meet. I have truly enjoyed my stay here everyone is so nice. I even played bingo with the people in rehab last week and got to meet new people.. more

I think everyone here is great. Everyone treats me well the nurses the nurse assistants even the doctors. I had on incident with a nurse but Kevin the night supervisor got right on it and my stay has been great every since. I don't have any problems here, I think I will here another couple of weeks and I think I will get the same care that I've been getting. more

I am 99 .9 percent happy with the care here. Not too pleased with my nurse today , but I'm going home today. I believe the nurses should help the nurse assistants out a little more . There are two nurse assistants that stand out the tall Ms Helen and little Melissa I wish I could have them every time I'm here as well I wish I could take them home with me. Me and Helen bet on what my blood pressure and blood sugars are going to be. I let Helen win today.. These two nurse assistants are the reason I choose kindred the heights whenever I have a choice more

1st and foremost from the bottom of my heart I want to thank Ms Shae Martin. She Checked on me frequently. I have had issues with my food and asked her who can I make aware of it.she immediately took care of my concerns even going Down to the kitchen herself . I am a retired police officer of 34 years and if I had seen her on the street and gave her a ticket I would have made sure that my phone number was at the bottom of that ticket. I would like to say thanks to all the nursing staff ,thanks for the great care I got . Thanks to Elizabeth ( the one from Humble, Texas)then nurse assistant from night shift (Abby ) who came in an massage my neck which prevented me from having to take certain medications.. Resp staff was nice when giving treatment in the middle of the night, if I refused they were nice about it, Helen Thompson nurse assistant is great, Esther Haynes Has been very family like, I enjoyed her working with me. Helen wasn't even assigned to me some days and would come by and offer a prayer for me. I cannot forget Aisha the nurse assistant she gets my praises . She put lotion on my feet, I am ever grateful for her.. The cafe got breakfast wrong 4 out of 5 days but ms Martin got things resolved quickly. I have had a good stay overall . I give this place an a minus . Certain people stand out. more

I am Mr.Johnny Hill, I was at Kindred Heights from September to December 2018. All the doctors were great. Dr W., Dr Schnell and Dr Lipsen. The nurses were polite the aides bent over backwards to help me I didn't mean to stay there that long but I did and they gave me a lot of support it became like a family . I stop by occasionally to say thanks. I wouldn't want to do it again but if I did,it would be at Kindred Heights. It wasn't ran like a hospital it was ran with personality . Wound care was excellent Kelly started with me and Julie picked up the ball with me and took care of my wound and really saved my foot. Sometimes I didn't know what the different procedures were but it was all worth it in the end. I've been able to get my job back with no restrictions.The doctor has now approved a prosthetic for my foot! I am so grateful for everyone who took care of me at Kindred. more

This lady Julie was very nice and very hospitable .. She did my leg twice even though the nurses refused to to do. I was son upset at first that I ran her out of my room. I was angry at everyone, but she didn't give up on me . I feel much better now and will never forget Ms Julie Carillo. more

My husband is here at Kindred Heights on the third floor, the care here is good. Wound care nurse Julie is especially good, she came in yesterday to look at my husbands foot and even though that was the only wound that needed attention, she also looked at the wound on his back side, there was gauze packed in an area and Julie removed it because she said the word needed air to heal, she always keep me updated on the progress on the wound. My husband likes Katie from the kitchen, she makes him feel like he is ordering at a restaurant the way she talks about the things on the menu. more

This is a letter to inform hospital management of my appreciation of the nurse Elezabeth Joseph Rn, whether it was cleaning up spills or explaining the medication, she was there to help, excellent staff. more

Whom it may concern, I am writing this letter to express my appreciation for the expert professional services rendered by Tech nurse Tameka Thomas on the fourth floor. Nurse Thomas was there to talk care of every need. Even before you asked, she had saw the problem and solved it. My room was emaculate kept, always water, ice, towels and other hygiene necessities. Urinals were consistently monitored. Nurse Thomas practically made my stay feel like a hotel visit instead of a hospital admittance. So thank you for having such a stand-up worker. My father really enjoyed his hospital stay here at Kindred Heights. Everyone is very nice and make my family feel like home. The staff from all departments are very nice. My special thanks goes to Julie C. From the wound care department. She teaches my dad and mom how to keep his wound vac machine from beeping everyday. The nurses call Ms Julie every time the wound machine start making noise and she will come right away and that helps to make the wound get better. Ms Julie and my Doctor Gopalani made he best decision that my dad should have a wound vac to go home. This was all set up by Dr Gopalani through the case manager. The doctor explained everything including all his follow up doctors appointment and Julie told us how to take care of dada wounds to prevent infection she also encouraged dad to make sure he goes to the wound care center. My thanks goes to nurse Constance who made sure my dads needs were met,as I said, the staff is nice. We are happy. more

It's been hard for me being here. This is my second time here and I appreciate the care that has been given to me by the entire staff. Julie my wound are nurse is very personable and patient with me. She is very informative and will let you know the possible outcome of your wound, if you are uncomfortable with her at first ,she will work diligently work with you until you are comfortable with her . Everybody here has been so nice . People even come from their other assigned places just to have a conversation with me and that makes me feel good. I will truly miss Jessie coming by to check on me and make sure my stay is going well. I have nothing but love for the staff here. more
