Kindred Hospital The Heights

My stay at kindred went well I appreciated the care and the people there on the 3rd floor, keep up the good work, I was very satisfied with my hospital stay. more

The care my husband received was very unexpected the kindness and compassion that was shown to him was as good as it gets . Everyone was so kind to him even when I wasn't able to visit. I am especially grateful because my husband is blind and needs someone to do most things for him. The wound care team helped him manage his wound namely Julie and we are so ever grateful . We still have a long road ahead but are eager to get started on this journey to recovery as we leave this facility . We want to thank Donna for setting up everything we will need once we get home. We want to thank this nursing staff as well for always being there when called. He really enjoyed the HBO staff Thara and Lori. Thanks to everyone more

This hospital has been so great you guys have made this hard journey for me and my mom my brother has been there a while in the Icu for the team effort that has been put forward, my mom is 86 years old and tries everyday to come to see my brother . I heard my mom say since he couldn't eat that she wouldn't eat as well once the case manager Dorlisa found out she sent my mom a tray so she could eat this act will stay with us for the rest of our lives. Kindred should open up a skilled nursing facility for patients to discharge to after they leave there because it's so hard to let go and know that he has to leave soon we really appreciate the nursing staff no matter what time we called and we called 24/7 no one said to us you are calling too late or too much. When my brother had something new to come up you guys got down to the bottom of it and found out what was wrong. Dorlisa has been like family to us. The first time he was at kindred was after an amputation and I told my mom that this would be the best place for him to return . more

I have been receiving exceptional care here, everyone has been great. I can't say enough about Woundcare Kellye and Todd, man they know what they are doing, I am really impressed with my doctor Dr Siddiqi and my case manager Donna, she has been most helpful by giving my wife and I resources for assistance. I am a coach had just started a new job and got sick all this is new for me, I have good days and certainly some bad days but I am reminded that I am a cancer survivor and I can't beat this. Shout out to the rehab stuff Remi and Rose for making my day by getting me out the room and working with me diligently. more

I was. Very sick when I reached the hospital . I use to be independent until I got sick. Everyone here has been kind to me and my family, my only fear is not being able to walk again, the rehab staff is like my family, I cannot remember all of there names,but they are all very helpful and encouraging when working with me. Dr Guerrero is an excellent doctor who cares a lot about his patients. He comes every day and gives me hope also Juliea in the wound care department, I met her here the kindness and attention she gave me during her visits to my room, there have been days when I was in so much pain and the nurses did all they could to help me with that, Nurse Christopher especially- he is a very good nurse, caring and funny, he even speaks Spanish . I am happy with the care and I thank everyone . Please also allow me to say something about April the nurse assistant. She also does a great job with her patients. more

I left Kindred 4 days ago and I hated to leave, I was told that I would be moving to another place, this allows time for my mom to get the house together for me to return home. I came to kindred hospital from home, my mom was taking care of me and I had to go there to have my wounds taking care of and get antibiotics. My wound care nurse Julie really took care of my wounds and she would always communicate to me and my mom how the wound was doing which made me feel better. I enjoyed Ms Julie caring for my wounds and how she helped with my hygiene the days she changed my wounds is the day I would get a really good wash. She would also change my bed sheets and give me soap and water to wash my hands. I looked forward to those days and my mother like her very much along with Jim the nurse asst. It was Julie and Jim that started taking care of me when I got to kindred. My mother and sister felt comfortable leaving me there at kindred heights hospital. My thanks also goes to April the nurse assistant. April treated me like family. She out a smile on my face whenever she worked with me. She came to see me even when I was not on her list, these people made my stay there enjoyable and I hated to leave even though I was told that the new place will be for a short time and I hope so. I have been here in this facility over 15 times and the people here couldn't be nicer. They all know how I feel about them already but just a few names to tell you why I keep coming back to this place, let's start with occupational therapy Stacey, physical therapy Rose also physical therapy-Remi, Tonya who works in the Woundcare department and 3 secretaries who never hesitate to call for help as soon as I need it, DeDe, Tamera and Bridgette. more

Honestly, I have no issues, I had one issue in the beginning and she apologized and we moved on.Everything has been good from the start . Julie worked on my wounds and clean it up and it went away in a few days . I really enjoy talking to her, everyone who I've dealt with is great . I appreciate everyone. I have told my kids that everyone has treated me good thus far. The lady that cleans my room really cleans and I am so appreciative. more

Flor helped me a lot . The lady Julie who took care of my foot helped me too.i am happy to be going home and I thank them for helping me. more

Everyone here has treated me good, when I call they come within reason. I can't say a bad word about anybody. I really like that Julie- she gives you that little lift you need . I can remember Julie's name because I had a girlfriend in high school named Julie back in the 50's. The therapy people are really good. I can't complain about anything-everyone has treated me good. more

I like it here just because of my surroundings , the majority of the nurses and nurse assistants don't give me any problems they are all nice and helpful, I will be leaving soon , this is a noce facility when I call for help they get to the room pretty quick depending on the shift. more

Everyone here treats me nice, while I have been getting stronger I can't wait to be able to walk out of here and go home. I actually was able to eat my entire lunch tray today after not having an appetite for so long. I want to continue to gain more strength everyday while sitting up and walking the hallways, I walked this entire hallway today, thanks to everyone here who has helped me to reach thus point. more

My dear friend who is like a sister has been receiving quality care so far from Kindred Hospital-Heights. For the most part the staff has been attentive to her needs and are diligently doing everything possible to make her stay more comfortable. She has several extenuating circumstances so her care has required a lot of coordinated care amongst all professional across the board. These things aren't easy to do and the staff here has done the best they can do to get these issues resolved. I am grateful and comfortable in knowing that she is in good hands.Father was a patient in Dec 2012 to Jan 2013 also received quality care at A kindred near spring. more

I cannot say enough good things about the staff at Kindred Heights, I am thrilled with how good they are taking care of my mother considering how sick she is, Dr Siddiqi is amazing and keeps me informed about mom's condition and medication changes among other things and is extremely competent and caring. Dee Dee the RN too time to switch mom's air mattress to a more quite one so my mom could sleep. Nurse assistant Ester took time to feed mom when she was having trouble eating. Psych MD George has been very kind and has a good bedside manner. Everyone has exceeded my expectations and I want to thank everyone on behalf of myself and my mom, with tears saying how grateful I am for the wonderful care we have received I will also share this with mom's case manager and social worker at Memorial City where mom came from. more

I am so impressed with the care here, almost nothing has gone wrong with the exception of one night nurse but the care here has been good. I want to thank ms Julia who handles my wound and all the others who cared for me but I can't remember their names. The house supervisor Kevin is just as caring as Julia. more
