I would recommend this hospital. I was here four years ago and I would have recommended it back then. The nurses and doctors are very nice. I like everyone who has helped me here. If i need to come back in the future, I will. This is a good hospital. more

This place is the best! 2/17/2023

I’ve been through so much in the last few months. At the hospital before this one, the nurses really treated me wrong. I didn’t know what to expect when I came here. My husband and my daughter have been with me every day. But when they aren’t here, it’s just me and the nurses. Well, I can tell you that the care I have had here has been soooo good! And compared to what I experienced before here, this is a relief. The nurses and ALL the staff are very kind and have helped me come so far. I now have that trach out, I can eat, talk, and do the therapy I need to do. I’m almost ready to go on to a rehab program closer to home. I appreciate this place so much! more

Still a good place 1/31/2023

I’ve been here before and it was good then. It’s still a good place. The girls and I cut up and have a good time. They know me and it feels like family here to me. I would come back again if I needed to and I would definitely recommend this place. They have taken real good care of me. more

I’d definitely recommend this place! 1/11/2023

I definitely would recommend this place. It’s a good hospital. I’ve had excellent care from all the staff. The nurses and Rehab staff are really good. They got me strong enough to go on to a really good Rehab place. I’m ready for the next step on the ladder! more

We brought our son here because this is a specialty hospital and they did exactly what we needed them to do. They got our son weaned off the ventilator, breathing on his own, and decannulated. The nurses have so much to deal with in their jobs here but still they were patient with us. Everyone was kind and supportive. Now he is ready to go to a place closer to home and continue his recovery. We would recommend this hospital, absolutely. more

I’m astonished! 1/10/2023

I have been to many different hospitals in my life and this one is far above any of the rest in so many ways. I have never been taken care of as well and with such genuine caring as I have been here. I am just astonished. But it’s real. These people have helped me with everything I needed medically AND they have listened to me, and helped me through my anxiety and just really been there for me. No one passes off anything, they do what is needed from a place of caring. This is a very special and unique hospital. I highly recommend them. more

Genuine caring 1/6/2023

The staff at this Kindred showed my husband and our family genuine caring. The wound care nurse, Andrea, was part of the team who met with us to explain his very complex medical condition. She helped us to finally understand the reality of his situation. Kellee the Case Manager, worked very hard, with the help of others on his team, to help us get him home. That was a complicated project. The staff did an excellent job of educating us on what we needed to know to care for him at home. Last and not least, the Patient Advocate Trisha, provided my husband and me with her unique supportive emotional connection that made a huge difference in our ability to make it through this. This is a special hospital. I would definitely recommend it. more

Treated like a person 1/6/2023

The staff here have been so kind to me. They are truly caring and they have treated me like a person. The nurses have been friendly and helpful. The Rehab staff are very good, almost overly careful with me. They got me strong enough to go on to a Rehab Program. The doctor was great and he usually could make me smile. Everyone has been sensitive to the fact that I’m not a morning person and they bring me my breakfast later than usual. Now I’ve gotten used to eating breakfast! I can’t really single out any particular staff as extra good. They were all extra good. I will miss the good people here. more

Good people 1/5/2023

There are some really good people that work here. Everyone has been friendly. They stop by to say hi or sit and talk and listen to my stories. Andrea, the wound care nurse got my wound healed so well, I won’t have to have a skin graft. I’ve had some bouts of sadness while I’ve been here, due to having lost my wife. But the true kindness of everyone here has helped me through those rough spells. I would definitely recommend this hospital. more

A very good small hospital 1/4/2023

I would most definitely recommend this hospital. It is small enough to feel like you get very personal care. The staff have been so supportive and kind to me and that has helped me through the long weeks of being in a hospital. I have received excellent medical care, nursing, rehab, and support from the Patient Advocate. No one wants to be in the hospital, of course. But I have had a good experience here. more

Care at Kindred Hospital 12/27/2022

My husband Mark has been receiving care at Kindred Hospital. Nursing staff have called when his blood sugar was below level and when they had to replace his feeding tube. I have seen his doctor on Saturday, his doctors explain what is going on, the dietician has talked with us several times in regards to his feeding tube and what he needs to do for it to be removed, the nurses and aides have given him good care, his OT and PT are working well with him and explain what they are doing, his patient adovacte has meet with him several times, his case manager has met with us and given us information, and the entire team meets at the patient’s bedside on Thursdays to review their care. The environment is nice and we would recommend Kindred Hospital to others. more

I would recommend this hospital because the staff are friendly and they are good at what they do. They’ve helped me come a long way. They all cheer me on in my progress. I’m getting very close to finally going home. more

Good staff 12/21/2022

I would recommend this hospital because the staff are good. They remind me that I’ve come so far. I was on a ventilator when I got here. Now I don’t have the trach, I’m not on any oxygen. I am eating. I’m finally ready to be discharged. more

This experience has changed my life. 11/11/2022

This experience has changed my life. Being here alongside my son, watching the people who have cared for him…it has changed the way I look at people. Now I look at people and see the love in them. The people who have come in his room have been genuinely caring toward him, and to us, his family. It has been a profound experience for me. Thank you. more

Everyone did a good job 11/11/2022

The nurse treated me with respect and helped me. My doctor was good. The rehab staff really helped me. I’m finally ready to go to acute rehab. more
