It’s been great! 11/9/2022

I’ve been here a LONG time, for IV antibiotics. So I’ve had plenty of time to see how this place runs. I think I know every person that works here! No place is perfect, but this is a good hospital. The staff care about the patients. They have put up with my orneriness and they have a good sense of humor. I’ve been out walking the halls so I stay strong, and while I’m out, everyone says hi to me. It’s a friendly bunch of people here, I appreciate all of them. more

11 on a scale of 1 - 10 11/8/2022

This place has been so exceptional, I would give it an 11 on a scale of 1-10. I’m going to write a very long thank you letter to the person in charge here. I want him to know how fantastic his staff is. You would think a hospital is a lonely place but I never felt lonely here. The staff checked on me and took the time to talk to me. They never acted like they didn’t have time for me. They helped me with whatever I needed. I appreciated how nice and patient Dr. Ada was. The Patient Advocate, Trisha, was so supportive. There are many good people here that I can’t remember their names. Thank you to all of you. more

They say I’m a miracle 11/8/2022

I don’t remember anything about my first few days here. I know that when I started to wake up, I was so confused and scared. The staff and my sister were great support and got me through that. I was on a ventilator, couldn’t talk or walk or eat. The nurses and rehab and respiratory therapists brought me such a long way from where I started. Now I’m dressed, eating lunch, and waiting for my ride to come pick me up and I can walk to the car and go home. I am very grateful for everything everyone did for me. I have a job interview on Monday. I am ready to go on with my life. more

Fabulous 11/3/2022

This place is fabulous. I have had no problems, only great care. These people are exceptional at what they do. I especially appreciate the amazing wound care and great therapy. I also really liked my doctor. I made progress here. My wound is better and I am stronger. I am eager to go home and resume my life. I would absolutely recommend this hospital. more

Yes this is a good hospital. Everyone that works here are such nice people. They take such good care of me, I can hardly believe how good! Whatever I ask for, they do with a smile. I would recommend this hospital. more

I’m a lot better 10/20/2022

I’m a lot better now than when I got here. Everyone has been good. My favorite was Trisha. They got me to where I can go to Rehab. This is a good hospital. I would recommend it. more

They did their jobs 10/20/2022

Well, the people here helped me make a lot of progress. I don’t even remember how bad off I was when I got here. But now I’m breathing without a machine, and I just got to start eating and drinking. They did their jobs and I sure do appreciate it. more

Nice staff 10/20/2022

Everyone has been very nice to me here. I’ve been here before. I knew I would get good care when I came this time. The Rehab staff have been great working with me and I’ve made good progress. I exercise on my own too. I know people here have done everything they can to help me make progress. more

Good attitudes 10/11/2022

If there is someone who needs to be weaned off a ventilator, I would recommend they come here. The Respiratory therapists know what they are doing. They got me off the vent and off oxygen. I’m eating and more independent so I’m ready to go home! My wife and daughter came here for the staff to train them on how to take care of my trach. The training was so good and we all really appreciate the staff being thorough and explaining things so well. That has helped us feel confident about me going home and not ending up back in the hospital. The staff here are friendly and have a good attitude, which helped me keep up my positive attitude. Thank you, everyone at Kindred for helping me come so far. more

I’ve come so far, 9/21/2022

When I came here, I was pretty out of it, confused, I had a trach collar and a wound and a drain. I was sort of a mess. While I’ve been here, my mind has cleared up, I got the trach out, I’m talking and eating and walking. My wound is healing. I’m strong enough to go on to rehab now. My family is so happy and so am I. Everyone here has been good at what they do. I appreciate everything. I definitely would recommend this hospital. more

You guys have done a great job taking care of me. I wasn’t here very long. The nurses have all been friendly and helpful, days and nights. Rehab has been great, too, helping me get up and going again. I really appreciate everything everyone has done for me.I absolutely would recommend this hospital. more

Top notch 9/7/2022

You are top notch. I have nothing but good things to say about this place. I was gone in my brain and on the breathing machine and not moving. Now, so much different! I am free of the machine, talking to my friend, eating food my wife brings me, and walking up and down the halls! You guys did this, with God. I can’t believe it, but I am ok now. Thank you so so much. We will tell everyone this place is top notch! more

Great Wound Care 9/7/2022

I would recommend this hospital for their great wound care. I have a couple wounds that haven’t been able to heal for a really long time and now they are healing. There are some good people here, in addition to the wound care nurses: Taya, Nadra, and the night nurse..I think his name was Bill. I also appreciate Trisha helping me with some emotional things I was dealing with. I’m well enough to go home and I am thankful to everyone who helped make that happen. more

Top Notch 8/30/2022

As far as I’m concerned, y’all are top notch. I love it here. This place has changed me. I was snapping at people when they were just trying to be nice to me and help me. Everyone just continued to be nice to me and I realized what I was doing. I prayed about it and then I was able to control my anger and appreciate how good I had it here. I was blessed by everyone making me feel like I was family. I really don’t want to go. Would I recommend this hospital? Heck yeah! more

From tour to discharge 8/29/2022

My son was so sick we thought he was going to die. He was on a ventilator, tube feeding, and IV antibiotics. He was agitated and in restraints. The hospital where he was before Kindred was able to get him off the ventilator but he went to Kindred with a trach collar and still very sick, confused, and agitated. Kindred had their hands full with all of the issues he had. Dr. Ada and the staff did a great job of managing it all. They were able to get him decanulated, able to eat, his infection resolved, calmer, and walking again. I appreciate everything Kindred did for my son. I want to thank Trisha, the Patient Advocate, who was a great support from the day she gave me a tour, to past his discharge, providing guidance on how to navigate things related to his care. I would definitely recommend Kindred Hospital. more

They Actually Care 8/29/2022

I could tell, from the moment we got here, that the staff really care about the patients. My husband was treated with respect. They talked to HIM, not just me. They asked him questions and listened to him. They took my concerns seriously. This was such a huge contrast from the hospital he had been at before Kindred. I really appreciate the compassion they showed him and the kindness they showed me. I would definitely recommend this hospital. more

A Tearful Goodbye 8/29/2022

I am sad to be leaving Kindred. I will miss the nurses and therapy staff who have taken such good care of me. I feel much better and I am much stronger. I would definitely recommend this hospital. more

Great staff 8/26/2022

These people know what they’re doing when it comes to respiratory issues. And wound care. When I came here, I was on a ventilator and had a serious wound. I couldn’t speak, eat, or stand. In less than three weeks, they had me off the vent, breathing room air, the wound was healing, I was talking to my sisters and eating, and rehab got me standing and strong enough to go to acute rehab. Absolutely amazing! I can’t thank everyone enough. I 100% recommend this hospital. more

I don’t want to leave 8/26/2022

The wound care team here has gotten my wound to finally start healing. It’s better than it’s been in a long time. The nurses and doctors have been good to me. Trisha, the patient advocate, has helped me through some hard days when I felt discouraged and lonely. Now it is time for me to go to another facility. I really don’t want to leave this good care and these good people. I will miss them. I definitely recommend this hospital. more
