Love and Respect 11/30/2021

I was treated with love and respect here. They talked with me when I was down and made sure that I was fully taken care of. I was never once treated like I was an addict, but someone who was getting better and going through something. Awesome! There are so many staff that I have appreciation for the care they gave me: Paige, Autumn, Phyllis, Tabatha, Ashley, Kim, Gianna, Amanda, Michelle, and Tiffany. I also want to thank PT, OT, and Kelley and Nancy in Case Management. Thank you to the staff whose names I can’t remember. They were all awesome and took really good care of me. more

Kind and courteous 11/23/2021

I would recommend this hospital because I was taken care of here. They brought me a very long way from where I was when I got here. It’s mind boggling. I was completely dependent on a vent to live and I was out of it. Totally vulnerable. Now I’m off the vent and I only need a very little amount of oxygen. I want to thank everyone here. I want to especially thank the nurses Ashley and Maggie, who were courteous and kind and just went above and beyond in taking care of me. I also want to thank Monica the speech therapist. The rehab staff were just great. And of course I need to thank the Respiratory Therapy staff. This is a good hospital for respiratory care. more

Professional staff 11/22/2021

I have had a good experience here. I know I have come a really long way. Most people in the state I was in die. I am really grateful for everything everyone here has done for me. The staff are very professional and they have all been nice to me. I would definitely recommend this hospital. more

Great experience 11/17/2021

I’ve had a really good experience here. The staff have been great. They do their job, being a nurse or therapy staff, or other types of staff, but they do more than just their job. They take the time to talk to me. That really means a lot to me. It makes me feel like a person and that I’m cared about. more

I got great care here 11/17/2021

I would definitely recommend this hospital to anyone because I got great care here. I’m a retired nurse. I know that nursing is hard work. But I never worked in a place like this. This is high level nursing. I was impressed and pleased with ALL the staff. They knew their job, they did their job, and they helped me as much as they could. I was kind of out of it when I got here, but I do remember that when I got to my room, they were very nice to me and got busy right away taking care of important nursing tasks. The rehab staff have been really good and my doctors, too. Many of the nurses have gone above and beyond what I expected: Amy, Michelle, and Anneco. There are many more but I can’t remember names. So just thank you everyone! more

They brought me back 11/16/2021

When I got here I was on a ventilator and not responding to my wife and sister who were at my side. The people that work here are just amazing. They brought me back. Now I don’t have a trach and I am breathing just regular air and eating (their food is actually good). AND I am having conversations! I am back to my old self mentally and almost physically. I will leave here soon and get more rehab before I go home. This is a special place. Everyone who comes in my room is smiling and friendly and they help me with whatever I need. They tell me I’m a miracle. You don’t know how much their kindness means to me. People need to know this is absolutely the place to bring your loved one if they need help getting off a ventilator, because they do that well, and so much more. more

Everything I need 11/16/2021

My stay here has been great. I wasn’t doing well when I got here. I needed a LOT of oxygen and I was so weak I couldn’t stand. Now I need less oxygen and my friends and the staff tell me my mind is clearer. I am walking with the rehab staff. The nurses and rehab and respiratory staff all know what they are doing. They did everything I needed to get so much better. I am VERY happy with the care I got here. I appreciate everyone. I would absolutely recommend this hospital. more

They took me in 11/15/2021

Yes,I would definitely recommend this place. Actually, it was the only place that would take me. I have some very major wounds that no one could deal with. Well, that’s what this place does: take care of serious wounds. And they have taken care of mine. Enough so that I can go home soon. Also, the location of this place is ideal for my family to be able to come see me. I didn’t want to be here…or ANY hospital for that matter. But people have been really nice and I appreciate that. more

Treated so well 11/15/2021

I have never been treated as well as I have been treated here. ALL of the staff have been nice to me; so friendly. They actually really care. I had a bad experience at the hospital before this one so I was nervous about how I would be treated here. But from the very beginning, I was welcomed with open arms and treated with loving kindness. I feel like the nurses have become friends and I will miss them when I go home tomorrow. AND I am sooo excited that I am able to go home!!! This place is why I’ve gotten better. I give this place a 100% and I would DEFINITELY recommend this hospital to anyone! I don’t know how I could repay everyone here for what they’ve done for me. I WILL come back, in REGULAR clothes and say hi to everyone! more

Excellent Respiratory Care 11/10/2021

You guys know what you’re doing when it comes to your specialty, respiratory care. You did what I needed you to do. You got me off the vent, decannulated, breathing regular air, and eating. You have some really kind and caring people who work here. I especially appreciate Katie, the respiratory therapist at night. She had this way of working with me that I was able to get comfortable an let other people touch me and help me wean. I also appreciate Ashley, who is an awesome nurse, and several others who I can’t remember their names. Everybody did what they needed to do to get me to where I can go home. Thank you, Kindred. more

Such nice staff 11/9/2021

II would recommend this hospital without a doubt. Every staff person that has come in this room has been so nice. They are friendly and answer my questions. They listen to my husband while he slowly tries to communicate. They know what they are doing. As they weaned him off the ventilator and now off the oxygen, they watch him closely. One day I came to see him, and one of the staff had brought him a radio to listen to. They are just really kind people. more

One of a kind stay 11/9/2021

I would absolutely recommend this hospital. I would like to thank Ashley for being the coolest nurse I have ever had in my life. I would also like to thank Trisha Miller for making it feel more like home than a hospital. I would also like to thank her for the long walks and talks about the past, the present, and the future, and believing in me and that I will succeed. She truly is an Angel in disguise. Thank you SO MUCH! I will say this, I will never forget this one of a kind stay and all the beautiful faces that I saw each and every day. I’d like to say thank you to ALL employees that I had the pleasure of meeting and seeing. A special thank you to the ones I didn’t see. I know you’re beautiful in each and every way because you work in such a beautiful place. more

I’ve come a long way 11/5/2021

I came to Kindred on a ventilator, having died and come back more than once at the hospital before this one. Kindred helped me really come back to myself. Covid is so bad, people should really take it more seriously. It almost killed me. Everyone here at Kindred has been very nice to me. I am decanulated, breathing just normal air, and eating. This place isn’t perfect, but overall, they did a great job helping me be able to go home. more

Staff knew what to do 10/15/2021

I want to thank all the RNs, CNA’s, doctors, and therapy staff who took care of my wife. I especially want to thank the Respiratory Therapy staff who pulled her back from the edge of no return to getting off the vent and eventually decanulated. It was really scary. I didn’t know if i would get my wife back. I kept telling all the staff she’s a fighter. After weeks of her being unresponsive, suddenly she was talking and shocking the staff. I can’t tell you how relieved and thankful I am to all of the people at Kindred who helped her AND me get through the Covid nightmare. The staff knew what to do to meet all her needs and to give me the support I needed as well. more

Real good care 10/4/2021

You all took real good care of me here. The nurses were all so nice. Everybody was. I can’t remember the names but there are some special people here. My doctor always took time to talk to me. I appreciate everybody who helped me. more

Outstanding 10/4/2021

I would definitely recommend this hospital. The nurses and doctors were always so nice and professional. They knew what they were doing and answered all my questions. They were good to my wife too. Covid really took me down and it has been so hard to get strong again. But the respiratory therapists and the rehab staff did what they do best and now I’m finally able to walk and I can go home. I guess if I were going to thank anyone specifically, Rhonda and Teresa were outstanding and caring. But all the nurses were amazing in their care for me. Thank you to everyone here. more

I am so grateful 9/30/2021

I am so grateful for all you guys have done for me. I know I have come so far because of all of you. You not only took excellent care of me, you helped me stay in touch with my family and made a point of updating my family on my progress. There were so many little things people did that let me know you guys really cared about me. There are a lot of people who I will remember because of the connection we made: Anecco, Monique, Kay, Teresa,Sarah, all my RT crew, Chris the PT, Matt (restorative), Trisha, Kelley, Dr. Sai, Debbie, Brittany, Autumn, and Rhonda. You guys are awesome! more

So grateful 9/29/2021

Our family has been very pleased with the care my sister has received here. She came in on a vent and unresponsive. The team here did what they do and now she is talking with me having a real conversation, has her trach out, and is participating in her physical therapy. What really impressed us was that the entire treatment team met with us in the first week she was here and explained the plan and allowed us to ask questions. That was so helpful. Kindred has been very accommodating to us. The staff are friendly and respectful to us and kind to my sister. The bottoms line is that she is so much better because of them. I especially want to thank the nurses Sue, Michelle, and Maggie and the PT Chris. They were exceptional. Thank you to ALL the staff. more
