Ripped Off 3/4/2017

I scheduled a refrigerator repair appointment with Jensen Appliance and Refrigeration CO on 12/12/16. The repairman, Randy, showed up 30 minutes late on his two hour window. He was there less than 30 minutes, did no testing and said it was the CPU Board. The actual work involved was about 10 minutes in snapping the old CPU Board out and snapping in the new one. He charged me as follows:\r \r CPU Board……..$310.00\r Tax ……………….. 21.00\r Service Call…….. 89.00\r Labor……………… 115.00\r \r Total………………. $ 535.00\r \r After he left I called General Electric to get its price on the CPU Board; GE’s price was $186.50. I was then infuriated at the total bill and called Jensen’s Appliance and asked to speak to the owner. I learned the owner was Randy who had done my repair. I asked to have him call me.\r \r When he called I informed him that I was appalled at his having “made” over $300.00 while being at my residence for less than 30 minutes a more

After our refrigerator quit working late friday night they had someone out first thing monday morning. The repair man Ryan was more than helpful he directed me to the manufacturer to purchase and extended warranty that would cover everything that was going wrong and anything else that may have been missed. I am sure it costs them money at the end of the day but it saved me and now I will use them for everything in the future. more

They have come to fix our washing machine on several occasions. I have been so happy with their prompt and professional service. They are always so nice and dedicated to fixing the issue and following up to make sure everything is ok. They are the only company I recommend and we have used several this past year with our washing machine issues! more

I found the people at the parts counter and answering the phone to be polite, knowledgeable, and helpful. I had a noisy dryer and initially went in to replace a belt. Kerry told me the belt wasn't the problem (saving me the cost of a new one) and what to check instead, giving me a handy printout diagram. I found a problem with the front bearing assembly and replaced that. Unfortunately, the noise quickly returned, and after further disassembly I found the rear bearing was shredded. I went back to Jensen (3rd time!) and bought the replacement for that. Now I've got it all back together, and it seems to work fine. For a total of about $70, and some of my time, my dryer is fixed. The people at Jensen were so helpful. more

I bought a house in Broomfield and the refrigerator broke 3 days later. I had 2 appliance people come look at it to see if anything could be done. One tech just stood up and said he couldn't help me and left. The other said he could help me but I wouldn't want him to because of the cost. He suggested I call Kitchen Aid because it seemed to be a sealed refrigerant issue which should be covered. I did and they had someone at Jensen call me and set up an appointment. Everyone was very friendly and apologized for the inconvenience of having to verify the other tech's work. The parts were ordered but it took a long time for Kitchen Aid to send it. Ultimately they replaced the part and Eric even came back the next day to adjust the flow because the freezer was not cooling. As I said before, everyone was very helpful and friendly. I would definitely use them again! more

Having problems with my Frigidaire Dishwasher (which we have an Extended Service Contract). 6/17 called Frigidaire and they gave me names and numbers for 6 appliance repair shops. The first two stated they couldn't get parts in for a week and service would take another 2-3 days to get completed. Third call was to Jensen. Discussed problem and they looked up my dishwasher and found parts (gentleman thought it could be up to 3 parts causing problem), which he said he could have in the next day, 6/18. Service scheduled for today, 6/19! It almost sounded to good to be true. So I scheduled. Only minor frustration was that they couldn't give me 2 hour window for today until 9am this morning. So, this morning at 8:45 I received a call from Brandon and appt. scheduled for between noon and 2pm. Brandon arrived at 12:15. He was courteous and professional and promptly started work. Turned out all 3 parts were bad but nothing else (again, almost to good to be true)! Just finished running dishwasher through a cycle with no problem. Based on my one and only experience with Jensen I would strongly recommend. more

My experience with Jensen was quite different from the lower-rated reviews. I was very impressed with their professionalism and responsiveness. \r \r My Whirlpool cook top (about a year and a half old) had 3 of the 5 burners out. I contacted the warranty company, and within 24 hours, Jensen had called to make an appointment next day. Eric called with his 2 hour time window and arrived right on time at the front end. He had to order another part for it, and said they'd contact me when they had it in. \r \r He returned for a fourth time today and it is finally fixed. He was thorough and did research, and explained it to me when they sent him the wrong parts. Each time, I was given a prompt date and time, and Eric followed up and arrived on time. He is very pleasant, and I appreciated his help and dedication in not only fixing it for me, but explaining an engineering defect and how to avoid it in the future. \r \r I highly recommend Jensen. They took very good care of me and saw the problem through to resolution. more

I had a good experience with Jensen. I contacted Whirlpool/Amana for warranty work on my new cooktop. The tech, Cory arrived on time and diagnosed the problem within a matter of minutes. A new part needed to be ordered and he explained it would arrive in a couple of days. He then asked if I needed any help with any of the other appliances; he quickly checked a setting on my dishwasher. The part arrived 4 business days later, and again Cory came to do the install. He reset the clock on the stove when he was done (sometimes it's the little things that cost nothing). more
