I purchased a chair and ottoman from J&D recently. We had one problem with the chair which we contacted J&D about. They immediately ordered a replacement for us and were very courteous about the whole matter. Their prices were great and their service was excellent. Highly recommend. more

The worst customer service I've ever experienced! 11/7/2010

The staff at J&D are completely unprofessional and rude. Not only did they lie about the amount of time my furniture would take to arrive but they also had an attitude with me when I went in person to inquire about my furniture (this would be understandable if I would have came in with an attitude but I did not). The lady that 'helped' me had a horrible attitude and did not answer my questions. At one instance she interrupted me with an attitude and a shake of the neck, while implying that it was too bad I hadn't received my furniture yet. As a hard working individual myself, I don't believe being from the working class is an excuse for a bad attitude, unprofessionalism, and horrible customer service. This was the worst customer service I've ever experienced and will never buy anything from there no matter how cheap it may be. I'd rather pay more for great customer service and quality than deal with them again. more

Worst Customer Service Ever! 11/7/2010

I chose J&D over Blom because they told me I would get my furniture in half the time, which was far from the truth. I had to wait about 8 weeks when they said it would take 3! The employees were completely unprofessional and just rude. I will never purchase another piece from this place and I would suggest you don't either. I wasted so much time going there and following up. I paid and they waited weeks to actually put my order in! So not worth going to. They need to learn that customer service is key in that industry. Their prices were not bad, but because of their terrible customer service, I began going elsewhere to buy my furniture. Being treated nicely is worth a lot more than saving a few bucks on the furniture and having a terrible time dealing with those employees more

Just wanted to write a little something about my experience with J&D.. I've brought quite a few items including, bedroom set, dining room set, and living room set. The experience was great from beginning to end. They were very helpful and and knowlebeable.I would definately recomment them. more

I PURCHASED A 5 STAR SILICA A COUPLE MONTHS AGO AT A GREAT PRICE AND IT IS AWESOME. THEY HELPED ME FIND SOMETHING IN MY BUDGET AND YET WELL WORTH EVERY PENNY. ALL THE WORKERS WERE VERY NICE AND HELPFUL. I GOT IT DELIVERED QUICKLY AND AT A GREAT PRICE. I WOULD RECOMMEND EVERYONE SHOP THERE. THERE IS SOMETHING FOR EVERYONES BUDGET AND STYLE. GREAT JOB more

Horrible service & quality 8/4/2010

I purchased 3 pieces of furniture last June. Upon arrival, the chaise had 5 holes in the fabric about the size of a dime each. I immediately called while the deliverymen were still in my house. Instead of taking the piece back, the salesperson said they would send someone to look at it to fix it. Two months later, a repair person looked at it & said they needed to order a part. I called repeatedly from August 2009 until April 2010 before someone confirmed that they would order a replacement fabric. I am still waiting for it to be installed, and it has been over a year since my original purchase. They say they will get back to you, but they don't. Also, the couch and chair I bought are of very poor quality. The pillows and cushions do not stay plump, and the sides of the couch are bowing. I will never buy from this retailer again!!!!!!! more

Liar's Liar's Liar's. The worst people in the world to do business with. Very poor customer service. Poor quality furniture. Go get two cinder blocks and milk crate, that would be much better than what they are selling! The owner needs to step it up or close it up! they totally lie about everything, they are supposed to rufund your money if furniture not delivered within 7-10 days but they won't. it took 30 days to get my furnitute and i had to go get it. their attitude is nasty. i heard the girl say racial slurs about a customer on the phone. they treat you really,really bad. i will never buy from them again more

Just bought furniture from J&D Furniture on Delsea drive Vineland. The furniture is beautiful....However, the customer service was awful. I was told it came in on Wednesday which was false. Then I was told it would come in on friday but could only be delivered by Monday. So i went to pick it up today rather than wait for delivery.Then i was told that part of my order was back ordered. Which means the 7-10 business delivery was false. More like 7-14 days. Instead of apologizing i was told that Ashley furniture would have made me wait longer. I told management that "Big Lots" had the furniture last week. Management told me I should have bought it from "Big Lots" then. I would not recommend J&D to anyone more

J & D furniture is a rip off!!! I bought a sectional they said was from sealy and klausner. I waited over 6 weeks for it to be delivered. When it came the arms were loose and one of them had the bare wood still showing. and by the way only one of the 6 piece sectional pieces say klausner the only piece still in tact the rest have no name on them and they fell apart. when I called them they said they would send a guy out to fix it, he didn't arrive for another 2 weeks and then he said he would have to order the fabric. this would take an additional 6 weeks. after the weeks came and went I called J ^ D and spoke to my sales person, she told me they would replace just the piece that was faulty, it would take 6 weeks to get it, finally the piece came and it was fine. the rest of the couch started falling apart, the coils and springs are coming through the material and cuts you if you touch them and the couch was only 6 months old. the pillows are ripping away from the back of the furniture and the stuffing is falling out. also i paid for accent pillows 28.00 a piece they also fell apart at the seems and stuffing fell out. please if your thinking of going to this furniture store don't waist your money. they don't stand by their products and give you the run around when their furniture falls apart, also i think they tell you its a certain brand and it's not all what they say it is. and it will fall apart trust me!!!!! more

We purchase a living room set and arranged for delivery on Thursday, when the furniture was delivered it was not the living room set we ordered. After speaking to the store arrangements were made to have the set delivered the next day, (making it necessary for me to take another day off so the delivery could be made). When the set arrived the next day, all the furniture was covered with dust, lint, and pieces of grass. I contacted the store and requested the furniture be cleaned or taken back to the store. Initially they agreed to clean the furniture and delivery people left. After waiting several hours and after several phone calls, the staff at the store stated the furniture would not be cleaned today nor would they provide a date when it would be cleaned. I am returning the furniture and will probably have to fight to get my money back. The person who wrote the previous review was correct, the furniture is good but the customer service people are not. more

I've only had one experience with J&D Furniture. They are actually quite a large furniture store located on Delsea Drive in Vineland, New Jersey. They advertise their sales and specials on Local Channel 2 or 13 here, so if you are interested, check it out. I had one problem with this store. I ordered a dresser and it took forever to finally get to me. I had to call them several times and they weren't the greatest at giving me information. Their selection is pretty good, but their customer service lacks. more
