AC technicians robbed us! 5/5/2018

They offerred to check out attic space apart of new fan motor installation. While in our master bathroom they stole medication from medicine cabinet. Reported this immediately to service manager GEORGE CATHEY AND OWNER JOHN DARGAVEL. more

TRUSTWORTHY 10/9/2017

Another air condition service came in March, said my 3-year old unit had seen its best day, must be replaced ($8,000). Isley came, made a minor repair on existing unit, and my A/C has run excellent all through the summer. Isley is my absolute choice in A/C service. more

These Guys Are Wonderful! 3/12/2017

I have a contract with Isley's Home Service and every time I use them I have a really good experience. Most recently, they fixed my air conditioner. I really appreciate how they are so friendly and knowledgeable. They make an effort to explain everything before doing any work and answer all customer questions. These guys are wonderful! more

I really trust them and they have never let me down. 1/6/2017

Isley's Home Service Inc. have been absolutely great with me. I've had trouble with thermostats. I have lived in 3 different places and when I was in a ranch, I had trouble with the heating system 2 years in a row and they finally figured out what it was. John was here the day before thanksgiving or maybe it was thanksgiving day and I made him a turkey sandwich! He was up there in the attic to figure out why we didn't have heat and he actually went down and got the part and figured it out when 3 different people didn't. He was like the expert, they sent out "the guy" Then, after a while we came here and we remodeled this place and sure enough it started to get cold and we didn't have any heat, so we called them and John came and they looked at the thermostat and he said that they wired it wrong and while he was here, I signed up for the yearly service, which is more but you know, I trust them. I feel that when I call, they respond and they have been very kind to me and I need somebody that I can trust and that can come and respond, specially I take care of my husband with Alzheimer. I like them and I have had other companies and they have let me down. Isley's have never let me down. more

We liked Isley's Home Service Inc.They have done a really good job because they are very professional, they show on time and they are good, in general. I've been using them for a while, they take care of all our air conditioning and heating services and do a great job. They are friendly and very polite and always on time. We have no complaints. more

New Water Heater 11/9/2016

I was impressed with the process. My mom referred me to them . If my mom says they are a good company, I believe it. My mom has high expectations. I don't believe in shopping around. She said to ask for Richard or Keith. I had Richard come out and install a new water heater. He was very professional. I am very happy. Thank you, Bruce K. more

Good service and reasonable fees 10/12/2016

Isley's Home Service Inc. was very good. The service is good and they were reasonable as far as fees and everything. They seemed very good and honest. I've used them 3 or 4 times in the last 10 years. they fix my air conditioning and heating and I'm also going to call them again soon and schedule a check-up, maintenance service. more

Great work, excellent service 9/16/2016

I had a pretty good experience with the services from Isley's Home Service Inc, we originally used them to replace a combination furnace and air conditioner as the one in our home had been there since the 80's, the new one they put in works well but we don't like as much as the one they replaced. The one they put in is much noisier than the old one, because when the machine is sucking in air the air flow gets so loud it can wake me up in the middle of the night. Overall I think Isley's Home Service did a fine job with the work I needed, I just wish the unit they put in was a bit quieter. more

Way overpriced 6/7/2016

I read all of these reviews, armed myself with a free call fee coupon and confidently called them. A very friendly man arrived and put me right at ease, then went about his business. I had a toilet leak and a faucet leak. Toilet needed a new supply hose--retails for $3 to $10. The job requires unscrewing the old one, screwing in the new one--sealing it and getting it tight enough. (That is what I can no longer do myself) Estimate for that job? $239!!! As for the faucet. it was corroded and needed replacing (I believe that) One can buy a passable faucet for around $30 that would be just fine. Replacing it might take as long as half an hour with the accessibility that mine has. That estimate was $414. Obviously, I did not let them do this! So they charged me the call fee. I had to pay them $49 so they could come here and attempt to take me to the cleaners! more

Bait and Switch 5/24/2016

Classic bait and switch service tactics. I requested a checkup on two rooftop heat pump units which had previously been installed by Isley's. The operator pulled up my customer information from their own data base. We agreed to inspection of two units at a promotional price of $65 each. When the technician arrived he said he did not have a tall enough ladder and would have to go get one but that it would cost me an extra $50.00 for his trip. Isley's installed the units. They knew where they were located. The operator did not request any information from regarding their location. After I told the technician that I would not pay an additional $50. for their oversight, he departed and has never been heard from again. I paid $15,000 to Isley's for this equipment but I will not spend another penny with them. I suggest you be very careful when dealing with these bait and switch experts more

Very good, but not in an emergency 12/14/2015

Isley's Home Service had always been good, and I've used them since 1994 or 1995. There were never any issues, no issues. They were very good until the emergency happened in September, when the water heater leaked. They had been very reliable up to this point. I called at 10 p.m. and they never called me back. It was an emergency and they didn't respond. They said they have 24-hour service and advertise they are available 24/7 all the time. I'm just mad at John the owner, because he didn't follow through and didn't bother to call or show up. I called the next day and they came out. more

Friendly service 11/12/2015

I've been working with Isley's Home Service over the past ten years. I've enjoyed their service a lot, the people are always friendly, and the servicemen arrive on time. They usually take care of our plumbing and perform leak repair, as well as stop by every 6 months to maintain our heating and AC unit. The pricing is fair for the level of service. Whenever there is a problem, they explain it to me, and repair it so I'm not worried about it recurring. The servicemen are professional and clean up after themselves, and communicate well about what they're doing, and everything always works well after they stop by. more

Service Great - Do your homework before purchasing a major product and don't trust the Company just because you trust the service person. 7/15/2015

It is difficult to review this company because some techs are outstanding and wonderful such as Kevin. Others (3) prior to Kevin were terrible. Also, we were sold an air conditioning system which was to be two 16 seer units and then told later that the 14 seer units installed were really 16 seer units based on some convaluted formula. I did some research and polled my neighbors and found I was deceived. I will use Isley's for service but, I won't trust anyone that tries to baffle me with convaluted information after the installation is complete. I am disappointed in myself for trusting Isley's just because I trusted Kevin. more

Very Reliable and Courteous! 5/27/2015

We've been working with Isley's Home Service, Inc. for a number of years and they're great. They do the annual maintenance for our air conditioning unit, which, recently, we had to get it replaced, and every time the service staff is friendly and prompt. They always take time to explain everything they are going to do and make sure you understand. Their prices are competitive and I highly recommend them! more

Derek Ball and the crew at Isley's did a fantastic job installing our Aspen Medium Swamp Cooler. This model isn't the typical recommended model however he met our desires and quoted and installed the model of our choice. The crew was courteous and thorough. Highly recommended!
