BOYCOTT HOME DEPOT 10/30/2011

I have had nothing but problems with the credit department DON'T DO BUSINESS WITH THESE NAZI'S I was going through a mortgage re modification and my mortgage company has reported my payments incorrectly to the credit bureaus. (my problem) anyway my washing went out went down to my local friendly H.D. to put a new one on my H,D. card and was denied after 6 years with no late payments ever (on any of my debts) and was told due to my recent credit score drop that my card was canceled with no warning!! So after further investigation I called the credit department and explained the mistake with written proof I wanted I was given the bad so sad story.....Real nice loyalty more

What happened to customer service??? Not good anymore for appliance delive 11/19/2008

Used to be great, but lately they rarely seem to have staff available to check out. Sometimes I do like to use the self-checkout but it's maddening to use when there are multiple items. \r \r It also took 3 visits to install a microwave last time. I will not buy any more appliances from them. Long story but beware the incompetent delivery installers. In store staff are ok so I don't get why they don't keep the front staffed. I've been going less, despite prices, because of that. more

Buyer Beware! 6/6/2008

We hired a Home Depot contractor to do some work at our house. They mis-bid the job, charged us for heavy machinery they never used and then didn't finish the job. Home Depot did nothing to help\r in the situation! They did nothing to credit us money for the work paid for and not done. I sent letters, made phone calls, etc.... no resolution. Had to hire someone else to come in a finish the job.\r \r I would never recommend Home Depot contractors, not even to my worst enemy. I since have received feedback from several other homeowners with the same dissapointment. more
