Do Not Get Sucked In- BAD BUSINESS 8/9/2014

We oredered the DVD's for our son who was sleeping all day and most of the night. He had lost interest in everything. We ordered the DVD's only as our son can not swallow pills. We called the company and thought we told them EXPLICITLY not to send the vitamins, they complied, HOWEVER, yesterday in the mail we received a notice from a collection agency saying we OWED for vitamins we never received, ordered or even SAW. They say they shipped them, I,say HORSE POCKEY. We told them we did not need the pills ONLY the DVD. We received the DVD's within a week. We NEVER ordered or received any vitamins from the company. We had taken our son to a Herbalist and she told us what liquid supplements our son needed, we bought those liquids and our son religiously took and still takes these.liquid supplements and uses the DVD's he even figured out a way to transfer the content to his IPod so he can now work. But back to the subject of this review, we are now in contact with the bank to figure out how much we were charged for said DVD's and vitamins Since most of our bills are by ACH debit. How can we OWE for something whenever received to be turned over to a collection agency? This company is not reputable. We ordered the DVD's back in Jan of 2014, it is now August and we are JUST now being told we OWE? When I tried to go to the Website it is closed and saying it will reopen, but as of 11a.m. this morning the site is closed!! What is this all about? Has the Ohio attorney general put them on the hotseat due to the bulk of calls concerning the cancellations I have read about I which this company choses to ignore? I tried calling the number but only got a fast busy signal. Are they ducking the calls now as well? I am angered and perplexed. I will be calling the Ohio Atty Gen myself come Monday. Someone hasto stop this illegal practice once and for all. They are causing more problems than they are purporting to HELP. more

Horrible Customer Service 3/6/2012

If I didn't have to rate or give a "star" I would not give anything as they deserve a big fat "0". Too bad this company switched to using the "Midwest Center". Apparently, this happened in December 2011 and supposedly notices were mailed to each of their customers. That is not the case as I did not get one and I have been with this company using three different supplements from them and no notice. When I started calling in January 2012 inquiring what is going on, I was lied to and given the runaround. I was told my shipments were inactive. Really???? They took the money out of my account but I never received any shipments. I will not and never will beg to buy someone's product. Shame on Good Living Labs!! They need to hire people that are trained in customer service also. more

good days living lab= HORRIBLE! 10/29/2011

This company is horrible! I canceled my account with them but yet a collection agency sends me a letter saying I owe $70 for vitamins?! What is this?! I would never recommend! I hope they got out of business! more

BUYER BEWARE! 7/20/2011

I have been away for a number of months and unable to tend to my mail. Upon returning, I am quite surprised to find that I have received multiple packages from Good Living Labs contaiing "Positive Mood" supplements. Even more surprising is the fact that I have billed almost $29.00 for each of them! I NEVER ordered this product, nor did I AUTHORIZE charges to my account for them. I see in looking at their invoice that they conventiently do not accept returns of these supplements. I have contacted Good Living Labs and requested that further shipments be CANCELLED immediately. (Get ready to be put on hold NUMEROUS times if this should happen to you.) Bottom line: I am extremely angry that this situation ever even occcurred and have requested immediate refund of my three payments of $28.94 ($86.82). I was told by Good Living Labs that they ship a free trial of these supplements every time an order for Lucinda Bassett's anxiety and depression program. Supposedly, at the bottom of the letter they enclose it is explained that these supplements will keep coming unless the consumer requests that shipments be stopped. I, personally, do not read my junk mail. Second, it is a well-known fact that anyone seeing a psychiatrist and actively taking prescribed medications would be ill-advised to start mixing them with any herbal supplement. For these reasons, I find Good Living's (and Midwest Center's) business practices to be both unethical and underhanded. What a money-making scheme! I have voiced my sentiments to the Midwest Center. If this matter is not resolved to my satisfaction, I will report such practices to the Better Business Bureau and will also post the reasons for my dissatisfaction everywhere possible on the internet to spare others the same experience. (I see there are already others out there doing the same.) What a disappointment! Lucinda seems so sincere on her infomercials. If I could contact her personally, I most certainly would! more

A Great Vitamin Supplement 4/28/2011

I received the vitamin packs along with the stress and anxiety CD's about 3 days ago. Upon taking the first vitamin packet I noticed a very positive change in my mood as well as anxiety condtion. I have researched every supplement in this product and in my opinion it is all safe and effective in treating anxiety and stress. I feel better and am very pleased that this product does not produce negative side affects. Please do not regard the negative reviews as truth. Some people with anxiety and depression are not happy no matter what is given to them. It is just their nature not to be happy. It is part of their problem and should not be taken seriously if you seriously want to improve your life. The vitamin supplement from Good Days has truly helped me stay calm and relaxed still allowing me the energy to enjoy my everyday life without harmful side effects. I do feel sleepy at times but I contribute that to just feeling a great deal more relaxed then I was before I started taking the supplements. I have found that sleeping seven or eight hours does wonders in your bodies way of coping with stress and anxiety. I am very greatful to have discovered something that will help me in my journey to be anxiety free. I would give this supplement an A+ for delievering what is promised in the material provided. In closing I would much rather digest a non addictive suppliment to help with my anxiety rather than a medication that has side effects and no proof that it will not be harmful to your body in 10 years. If you do the research on the suppliment and have an open mind that it will benefit you...Then it probably will. I am an advocate of Good Days as it pertains to what positive benefits they can deliver to me. more

Buyer Beware!! 3/2/2011

I have learned my lesson about ordering anything before doing my homework. To put it simply, this is a RIP OFF!! I cancled my order and shipped everything back (including the vitamins). They would not accept the vitamins since it was a parishable item. That's fine and I paid for the open box that I did try. However, they supposively sent another box that I never recieved and charged me. I had cancled my card because it was lost and within less than 45 days I was contacted by a collection agency. They gave me a tracking number and said I would need to get verification from the post office to prove I never recieved the second package. This was a huge waste of time!! Long story short, I spent the better part of 3 days trying to pay a bill for something I never wanted nor did i recieve. The collection agency called me again yesterday and despite the confirmation number they still wanted my credit card number. I really hope this is the end of it.....REDICULOUS!!!! Please be careful. more

Both companies need to be CLOSED! 8/3/2010

Good: Nothing at all. Bad: This company and Midwest Center need to be closed permanently. How dare they exploit people who are already down and out and try to take the last few HUNDRED dollars they have on some mess like they are hawking. If they really cared, they'd send the stuff out for free and AFTER it did some good and people feel the way they claim then the person would send them some money. Course, they know that this junk don't do anything but depress a person more for getting suckered into their system. Thumbs DOWN!!. Improvements: I'd like to see both companies (if you can call them that, personally I think it's just a big pack of thieves) shut down and made to pay back EVERY DIME they've taken from people. Ohioians should be ashamed of letting an operation like this go on in their state. SHAME! SHAME! SHAME!. Other: Nothing much else to say. Just as mentioned in an earlier post, call the Ohio State Attorney General and voice your complaint. If enough people contact them then this practice will have to stop. Don't let them keep suckering in people who are down and out. They should be totally ashamed of their behavior, but I guess some people don't have to look in the mirror at night. Again, SHAME! SHAME! SHAME! on both these two scam artist companies but probably one person who owns both if I had my bet.. more

Company needs shut down. 6/23/2010

I sent them a letter to cancel my shipment of vitamins back in 2008. I had called to cancel but I was told I had to send them a letter to do this. Well yesterday I received a letter from them saying they were going to send me to collection for $30.90. I was receiving the vitamins that were charged to my credit card at the time I cancelled. I do not owe them one dime and they are trying to threaten me with collection. I reported them to the Ohio Attorney General. My complaint was taken over the phone at 1-800-282-0515. I was told they have nine other complaints regarding this subject with this company. If this company is doing this to you, please contact the Ohio Attorney General and file a complaint. this company needs to be investigated 6/13/2010

I was scamed by this company the same as others in these reviews. Do not give them your credit card number!!!!! They will not allow you to cancel the service and will continue to bill you month after month. The only way I got them to stop was by changing my credit card number. Keep as far away from this company as possible. more

Cancelled order 5/9/2010

I cancelled my future shipments on April 23, 2010 and I am still receiving the vitiams. I have enough to last for 6 months and asked them NOT to send more... to no avail. Has anyone else had this same issue? more

THEY ARE SCAMMERS AND THIEVES! 4/29/2010

I also was sent vitamins I DID NOT ORDER! I ordered another product that they said was in the same company but another division. Only one call was made to make the order, only one 800 number was given to cancel. I returned the other product within the 30 days, and they are saying I have to call another number to cancel the vitamins I did not order!!! They charged me for 3 months, not sure if it's over. They put me on hold for 55 minutes and another 15 minutes when I had to call back because they NEVER answered when I requested a supervisor. They AGREE I RETURNED THE PRODUCT ON TIME, but not the vitamins. WITH ALL OF THEIR STEPS IN THE RETURN, THEY ABSOLUTELY KNEW THEY WERE GOING TO CONTINUE CHARGING ME. I specifically asked if I would be charged any more and if we were good, as I took all of the steps, which include certified mail with a tracking number, and THEN you STILL HAVE TO CALL THEM AGAIN WITH THE TRACKING NUMBER to get a confirmation # for the cancellation. They never answer the phone, and when they do they put you on hold forever. What a great way to make a living, stealing from others. I hope everyone that works there and their family and friends read this and are really proud of the place their family member works and what they do for a living. It is criminal. What goes around comes around, some day someone may treat them the same way and steal from them, then they'll understand the trickery they are using to cheat people! I sent the vitamins back unopened, return to sender, and they say that the post office would throw them away and not give them back. Gee, how convenient that the only company in the world that the post office would throw away the product, and not return it to them is their company. There are good companies out there, but THIEVES like this ruin it for us to trust anyone. more

Biggest scam and Liars, too! 8/12/2009

In May I ordered the stress program and received the vitamins, which at the time seemed like a good idea. Then in June we moved and had our mail and packages forwarded. I was then charged in June and in July for the vitamins and did not receive them. I called today and after being on hold for a really long time, talked to some "customer service" woman who couldn't have been more rude. She actually told me that the vitamins are never returned to them, but that the Post Office will destroy the vitamins because they are not returnable! Destroy them? Does that make any sense??? So after cancelling the vitamins (they are sending me the 2 boxes I paid for) I called the Post Office and they said that they do NOT destroy vitamins, only food. This company is a scam. Do not be fooled. You can buy vitamins from a reputable source for less and don't have to deal with lies and the runaround. It's really too bad. I might have given them a chance. more

SCAM! 8/11/2009

The "Day" & "Night" vitamins are $125 for a one month supply!!!! Before your "free" trial is up, you have to cancel or they will not refund your money or accept the package back(or so they say). ANY company who refuses to take ANY return under ANY circumstance CANNOT be trusted! This is a SCAM!!!! more

ripp-off with the worse service 7/27/2009

I ordered the vitamins paid s&h with debit card...after taking them for almost 2 weeks find out the do the opposite for for me so stop taking them. I call to cancel after receiving another shipment, now for 3 months and another charge for 60 plus on my debit. They will not take the vits back nor will they refund my money. I call 2 times to be put on hold forever until I get tire and hang up. Third time I called, after arguing with the operator saying there was no one else on premise to help, finally was transfer to a voice mail. Left a message to which, two weeks later, I am still waiting for a reply. This company is a bunch of out right thieves without a clue as to what customer service is. more

This company is a nightmare 7/24/2009

I called to return the DVD set and vitamins....for the set I was on the phone for an hour repeating "I dont want the product" and had to argue to send it back. As for the pills I called twice to cancel and even changed my account number but still they charged me again. I called again and got a very rude operator who could not understand my easily explained predicament I DONT WANT THEM. Finally she refunded my money supposedly. Im sure I will get another shipment in a month or so. Horrible company to deal with and horrible customer service. Do not deal with these people. For a company supposedly trying to help people they have caused me nothing but stress!!!! more

This is a Vitamin scam -- Stay a way 1/4/2009

When you order the Attacking Anxiety and Depression program from Lucinda Bassett, they sign you up for a $30.00 a month Herbal supplement program. They automatically bill you and will not take back the herbal supplements. They Claim that you can cancel but they keep sending the supplements. Month after month. That is $180.00 per year for a Herbal supplements. They make a lot of claims on how good these supplement are but they are forced to say on the box in the fine print on the box says “ This product is not intended to diagnose, treat, cure, or prevent any disease” Don’t give this people $180.00 a year for nothing. Since you can not return the supplements they get you in a trap. They only way to stop them is to cancel the account they are trying to debit. DON’T ORDER ANYTHING FROM THE MIDWEST CENTER FOR STRESS AND ANXIETY. It will cause you more stress and anxiety then it saves. more

now I have great days 11/15/2008

A friend of mine received these with some videos she ordered and gave them to me. I tried them out and loved the way I began to feel after taking them consistently for a week. I am 54 years of age and these supplements truly give me a feeling of well being. I have a stressful job, family, and @ times they all run havoc together. I am much more able to roll with the punches and keep on keeping on since I have been using these supplements. Never mind my energy and sex life are better for it and I sleep better more

Good Livings Labs 2/21/2008

I agreed to try the free 30 day trial. Paid for shipping with the debit card. Never recieved anything but another automatic debit from my account! Tried to call the number and got a recording saying I needed the number off the box that I have never recieved! What a scam! My advice is to call your bank and dispute this crap. (they were very willing to help) And as I will do report this to the Better Business Bureau!!! I will help if needed: Ryan Howard Baton Rouge Louisiana 225-603-9198 more
