Beautiful location, Great food! 6/19/2005

I took my boyfriend to Geoffrey's for his birthday; we were running REALLY late, but they were very accommodating. I requested a table against the rail, but didn't get it (probably b/c we were late), but it was still a great view anywhere. I thought a place like this would rely on its location to carry it, but the food was delicious. Our waiter was very friendly (and not bad to look at, either!). Great martini menu! I called early and asked them to do a birthday candle on our dessert and they forget. Pros: Waterfront, Martini menu, Service Cons: Forgot Special Rqst more

we've dined here a number of times, each time another happy memory. Try to get a table on the rail at sunset, use the valet parking; safer than hiking the PCH in heels. Good food, good service, the view alone is worth the price of dinner. Pros: great atmosphere, good food, good service Cons: parking, hard to find at night more

Went for my birthday and loved watching the sun set. The service was wonderful ,however, the food was very disappointing. Our food was bland and the root vegetables were undercooked and hard. It's too bad that so many restaurants count on the view/ambience to compensate for food quality! Food should come first to justify the price! Go for the atmosphere, don't go if you want a true fine dining experience where food is first. Pros: view, service more

I went to Geoffrey's for the first time recently and had a pleasant experience. Very romantic, gorgeous view, and very good food. From the menu, I'd recommend ahi tuna, and filet mignon if you are a meat eater. I must say, however, the appetizers are average. Desserts are good. The only thing that made the evening less than perfect was a lazy, inattentive service by the waiter, who was never around when we needed something, and never came back to our table after the entrees were served. The busboy's service was more helpful than the waiter's. Overall, though, I'd recommend anyone to try this place once, if only for the beautiful view in the serene, romantic Malibu oceanside. A Perfect 10!! 8/15/2004

This has been and still is my favorite restaurant of all time! As everyone knows, Geoffrey's has a KILLER view! There is no other restaurant in the LA area that is located on cliffs overlooking the ocean! The perfect place to watch a sunset with your significant other. Service is great and the crowd here is pleasant. You will get nothing but class at this restaurant. Tuna tartare is good and so is the swordfish. Pros: Amazing view, Great service, UBER romantic more

Just went to celebrate anniversary on Saturday and the weather, service and view were all outstanding. The food was just average, unfortunately that is so typical of a restaurant that is otherwise perfect.
