I was rather disappointed with the blocks of sashimi slabs they served when I ordered the Sashimi-Sushi deluxe Boat with my parents and husband. You can tell that the restaurant is not overseen by Japanese staff who should know that you cannot serve slices of tuna, salmon and other raw fish cut in 2 inch-thick pieces! We ordered the Deluxe Boat, thinking it would be a great specialty, but it was to our great disappointment and it was even grotesque trying to eat the slab of sashimi, feeling like you're really eating big chunks of raw fish. (And I love sashimi and sushi, too, so I know what they are supposed to be like.) We made reservations, and though we requested to be upstairs, they made us wait for over 30 minutes, and still we could not be seated. They eventually placed us in the first floor entrance row, which was not so pleasant, due to the noise of the reception and the hovering of the customers, looking over as to what we were ordering, as they waited to be seated. The girls do not smile at you, and it was overall not a very pleasant experience. The prices are high for the quality of the food and service. It is too bad since it is so close to my house! I recommend that they get a real Japanese sushi/sashimi chef who knows what it is to service real Japanese food, with service and politeness.
Pros: The upstairs room with the screen view is somewhat different
Cons: Overly priced, terrible sashimi, service, no parking, possibility of being seating in a gloomy room.
