It was our 2-d year Wedding Anniversary, my husband just got a position at Harvard - many reasons to celebrate! So we chose Fugakyu for that. Husband dressed up in suit, I made beautiful hair - so, we appeared at the front door, expecting a friendly Japanese smile. This bi.ch at the front door didn't even look at us for about 3 minutes, even though she saw we just came in and we were standing there like some fools. And then she said how may I help you? After that, she ordered to the other servant to sit us, at a certain place and that woman was hesitant, and she almost yelled at her to do so. When we got to the place - we realized why, it was not romantic at all! In a little room were cramped 5 tables, and she put us in the middle - we were so exposed! Being in such environment - it is very not worth it. The whole atmosphere of service is very tense and reading bad reviews about service there I have to say it is very noticeable. If you are planning something important and don't wont it to be affected by such a ridiculous thing - as service, choose somewhere else to go. It might just spoil your mood. Sushi and food is good, and I a not discussing it here. BUT WHEN YOU GO TO A RESTORANT - FOOD AND SERVICE IS TO ESSENCIALS OF OVERALL EXPERIENCE, YOU CAN'T ENJOY THE FOOD WITH THE BAD SERVICE, AND YOU CAN'T ENJOY THE SERVICE WITHOUT GOOD FOOD. THEY HAVE TO WORK ON SERVICE - NOBODY WANTS TO SEE A MISERABLE FACE OF SERVANTS - THIS SHOULD BE AN EXPAMPLE OF AMBIENCE AND JAPANEESE HOSPITALITY.
Pros: FOOD
Cons: SERVICE
