Used Frymire before with good results. This time, tech did not do much. He meas line temps, chk freon level, chk filter, outside condenser coils and duct temps. He then said I need new unit. My unit too old (only 12 yrs). Thats all. He did not do any in-depth diags (such as meas compressor draw) to determine why my system not operating per its design. Last time, 2 yrs old, the other tech did full diags, leak chk and vac test finding water in freon line. Just b/c we live in Plano, does not mean we can spring for new system, ditching an older system that I think is fixable. Wasted money this time. more

The problem was not a serious one and the technition reviewed my options with me and all was resolved to my satisfaction. more

Not satisfied with the service, I was an a service agreement and still developed mold on my vents and unit. They were not interested in solving my problem that was overlooked by the service people more

I noticed Sunday afternoon a"lake" under my sink. By 11 on Monday, I had a new disposal and a dry "under sink." more

one small problem and it's happened before so that's why i'm mentioning it - when i call at night, after normal hours, to schedule service for the next day, the order got mixed up - i thought we were scheduled for the morning; when i called mid-morning, records showed our appointment was for the afternoon. i recall another similar incident a while back - may want to verify after-hour call details to what's actually scheduled. The Technician was courteous and answered all my questions and backed them up with his thoughts on why he gave the suggestions he did. He also informed me about my additional services available with the plan I had already purchased. more

Since 1977, we've been using Frymire Services! They are always very professional, provide excellent customer service and are extremely reliable. When they say they'll be coming at a certain time, they're there at that time. If for some reason they're delayed, they'll call to let me know. Also, the dispatcher will call ahead to let us know when they'll be there so we can put our dogs away. And the techs always give a call when they're about five minutes away just in case the dispatcher didn't catch us. Usually, we use the same techs all the time and they are wonderful! If for some reason, they're unavailable, then they send a qualified back-up. I like that they fix the problem and don't say that now I have another problem! And they fix things the first time around. They are very friendly and knowledgeable. They've worked at both of our houses, and like a doctor knows your issues and ailments, they know our plumbing and electrical in and out. We know that Frymire will take care of us even in emergencies. They've always been available during the weekends for emergencies. We won't use anybody else! We recommend them to everybody! Our son uses them too, and so do all of his friends! more

I was so mad when your guy got here! Had a Berkey guy come out,to work on old unit because I had a $100 a year contract, tell me that there was nothing he could do, bad mouthed you guys when he saw the new unit you put in this year. Left. Temp went up in house every day after he left until I called you all. Toby(?) came put in a condenser after telling us the options. We knew that we were gambling, but at least he gave us an option. We can replace in jan2012 and you, Frymire's ,will be doing the replacement. more

I had a leaking water inlet hose to a toilet and a leaking outside faucet. The repair technician from Frymire repaired both items in a timely and professional manner. I am completely satisfied with the results. I would highly recommend Frymire Services for plumbing and AC repairs. more

I had several problems with my a/c, i guess due to this tremendous heat spell texas is under now. To have so many problems all at once had me nervous, but Stevie took the time to explain all my options. When the a/c totally went out..he got it repaired very expeditely in spite of the hectic schedule i'm sure all of the local technicians are experiencing at this time more
