Promises made, never kept! 5/19/2012

Called Frymire Services twice, after a technician had made a visit. I wanted to inquire about a Bryant Air Conditioner. First response was an attempt to sell me a Carrier Air Conditioner or Trane product. I specificaly asked for a replacment for a 4800 Lennox product. I wanted to update from the R=22 to the new 410 system. People dont't listen, making it difficult to get results! And, I still don't have a quote for the new system, or a call back to discuss it! I'll be out of town until the 30th! I would like to hear from you by then! RESPONSE FROM Frymire Services, Inc.: A proposal was emailed on May 17th to Ms. Pettiford, but evidently was not received by the customer. Our comfort consultant has since in been contact and the customer has received our proposal. We are sorry for the delay. more

AC stopped running properly after technician left 4/30/2012

Friday April 2012 I had my normal Spring AC inspection on my new Trane AC system that I had put in 2011. After the Frymire Technician left my AC did not work properly - It worked properly prior to the inspection. Tonight my call to Frymire was horrible & a case of uninformed Frymire staff. I spoke with 3 different Frymire people & one who insulted me by stating I wasn't even a GOLD Member. After what I experienced with them why would anyone what to ""pay"" to be a GOLD Frymire Member. Poor Customer Service! My neighbor told me Frymire had once failed to secure a bolt that enabled her AC to run properly during a normal Spring inspection - At the followup visit they admitted such to her. This may be what happened to me. I hope Frymire works in good faith to find time to come out ASAP & review their work to determine why my AC quit working properly after their Technician left my house 4 days ago. RESPONSE FROM Frymire Services, Inc.: Some points to better clarify this complaint: 1. Frymire did not install this customer system. We did install ductwork in 2011. 2. The FPS service agreement the customer references expired in July 2011 (she did not renew our last visit for a tune-up). 3. Our service manager did speak to the customer on the same night when the customer called, requesting service. The customer stated that a pest (rat) was stuck in the condensing unit, disabling the air conditioner. We advised the customer to seek a pest control company to remove the rat and we will then be happy to send a technician. more

Only thing that I didn't like was that the Frymire called two months early to schedule my services. I would of rather the appt been 6 months out instead of 4 months in May when I would actually be using my AC. more


Air Conditioner Filters 4/17/2012

I placed an ordered air conditioner filters i believe on april 9 or 10th----payment was taken from my account on 4/11---i called today and the filters had not even been sent to me yet-rep said that she would see that they gou ot today- RESPONSE FROM Frymire Services, Inc.: Ms. Lott, I am very sorry that your filter order is delayed. Please accept my apologies and Frymire will credit the amount paid for the order. more

Our airconditioner did not work when we turned it on the first time this year. The guys that came out to our house were good at diagnosing and correcting our air conditioning problem. Very fast and efficient. The only complaint that we had was the waiting time for them to get to our location. We were given the timeframe after 12:00 pm, i.e. after lunch. The original technician that diagnosed the airconditioning problem was not able to arrive at our house until 6:45 pm, because of other houses that he had to go to first. I got off from work to meet him at noon, but had to wait more than a six hours for the technician to arrive. A more reasonable estimate of the timeframe that the technician would arrive, would have been appreciated. RESPONSE FROM Frymire Services, Inc.: We are sorry that our technician's arrival was delayed and that you were inconvenienced. We can always call in advance of the technician's arrival, enabling our customers to time their arrival to meet our technician. If our customer service staff did not offer you that service, I apologize and regret the time you spent waiting. more

I called frymire in the morning about my leak, they set up an appointment that afternoon to get it looked at. tim was prompt, friendly, and found the problem right away. he gave me options for replacment, then went ahead and completed the repair. very good job from frymire, as usual. more
