Quality of work seems good, however, not any better than Baker Bros and costs for equivalent work was about 50% higher.


service tech jeff was very good and personable, however the cindy at the call center was not. 1/18/2012

Jeff, your service guy, came out to assess why my heat was not working. He found that the attic motor was not functioning correctly and that he would need to temporarily fix our motor. The temporary motor would run constantly until the new one would arrive from Oklahoma. With the temperatures being in the low 20s at night we really had no choice but to allow this option. Jeff said that it should only take a couple days and the problem should be fixed correctly by the weekend or at least no later than Monday January, 2nd. I decided to call on Tuesday to check the progress of our problem because I did not hear from anyone with your company. Cindy, with your customer service informed me that the latest appointments that could be made were at 3:00pm. This posed a problem for my wife and I because we are in healthcare with various schedules and we needed a later appointment. Cindy, advised this was not a possibility. I advised Cindy, that the temporary motor that was installed was running constantly, and so was my electricity bill. She then stated how that was not her problem nor the fact that we worked past 3pm and we would have to figure something out. Im very frustrated with the lack of customer service and concern that she displays for your company. The only option given to me by Cindy was I would either have to take off a day of work, or choose a Saturday when I could be home waiting for someone to come out. She told me she could give me a 5 hour window for my service appointment. My wife fortunately was able to work her schedule out with her employer and meet Jeff to fix the problem. He was very nice and provided good service. I did receive my electricity bill yesterday and it was $71.00 higher than normal. Cindy was very abrupt, rude, inconvenient, and truly unhelpful. However, when I called to first report our problem I spoke to Debra who was very accomodating and kind and we were able to have someone come look at our problem that same day. I feel that Jeff made the best decision with what he had available. However, I do feel that with the temporary fix, there should have been a bit more flexibility on the companys part. I can only hope that this treatment was not due to the fact my problem was under warranty and I am not an out of pocket paying customer! Fixing stopped up pipe next to garbage disposal 1/13/2012

Even with out $50 discount, this 20 minute fix costs us $215. It should have been closer to $100. Even though you do good work and you recently replaced our total air conditioning/furnace system and water heater, we will look for a more reasonably priced plumbing service. We felt like we were raped because a previous high quality plumber only charged us $100 on a weekend evening to fix a stopped up sink and took about 20 minutes as well. RESPONSE FROM Frymire Services, Inc.: We are sorry that Mr. Grigg feels our quoted repair price was too high. This was an after hours call; our plumber arrived onsite at 9:09 PM and completed at 10:00 PM on a Friday night. The customer had requested a 'price range' for the repair by phone, unfortunately we cannot quote pricing for a repair sight unseen. It is our policy to provide an upfront price for the repair at no obligation to our customers. Mr. Grigg accepted the price and authorized the repair. He could have elected to decline and pay the $49 service fee instead. more

Moving of Our Thermostat 12/17/2011

The service representative was great and did quality work. When I called and asked about the price regarding moving our thermostat from the fireplace wall to a less heated wall, I asked the operator whether the service call would be included in the cost of the work performed. She said the representative would discuss that with me. I assumed it would be included if I had the work done the same day; however, I had to pay a service call on top of the cost to do the work. My husband even assisted the representative with making sure the wire came down the wall. I thought paying the service call was totally unfair in this case. Most companies will include it if you have the work done at the same time as the estimate as they are already there. When companies tell you that the representative would be discussing this with you--run the other way!!! more

There seemed to have been some sort of problem at the appointment preceding mine which caused the serviceman to be much later than expected. Otherwise, the service was excellent. 12/10/2011

It was a pretty good experience. I guess I would expect, though, that cleaning the furnace motor housing would be part of replacement process, as most people don't have their furnace motors cleaned regularly. The serviceman was quite dismayed at how dirty mine was. more

Extremely dissatisfied with the service. The technician came 4 hours late. Quoted 200+ dollars to check if the issue is with carbon monoxide. Checking CO is part of the regular Tune up service of any other company. I will never call this company again for service more

Service was as expected 11/26/2011

Technician did more talking than servicing.but that was ok somewhat. Guess he liked being more out going than business like. But a little goes a long way. I just hope from not watching the techs every move that what i paid them to do was done, since there is really no way to confirm or deny what was said was done was. I just have to go with their reputation that the tech did what he said he did. more
