I am currently moving into my second Foster managed complex, where I was on the Board with the first. I got curious and read the reivews given here. What appauld me was the comments and complaints here are actually not complaints with the management, but rather with the Board and sometimes the limitations governering documents place on the Board. ** Please keep in mind until their is a homeonwer board there is a developer Board Foster Premier has to abide by so the term Board is very loosely said here. Management companies are not babysitters and can not make decisions for fines, assessments, and maintanance without the Board approving it first. I know from the last building where I was on the Board had to approve any expense over $1,000, which things for maintanance usually are. Additionally, fines also have to approved by the board for bad nieghbors. Rather than get frustrated with management for something they have no control perhaps you should read your Declaration, the Condo Act and the attend a meeting to place the blame where it belongs. Residents that have these type of complaints should be on the Board so that they are able to authorize Foster Premier to fix these issues!
Pros: They are knowledgable, careful of the laws, and easy to work with
