They lost one of my shoes and would not give me my money for my shoes. Went back 3 times (no shoe!)...contacted Better Business Bureau, on last return...somehow my other shoe ""miraculously appeared""! Seems like a non-ethical business run by non-ethical owner...DO NOT USE THEM, go elsewhere in Boulder!!! I would rate it as a negative star if I could, but the program will not let me!!! Cons: lost my shoes, would not give me my $$ back more

Dropped off my husband's $200 Ecco loafers 20 days ago, and called back several times, they were still not done, so I went there personally after a few more days. They couldn't find them. ""Somebody must have picked them up"". (Yeah! YOU picked the up for your husband who needed a pair. ) I don't fall for it. They don't even have ticket numbers on the shoes so anybody can show a $5 ticket and pick up a $200 pair...""yep, those are mine, right thar."" more

I brought my luggage in to be repaired, said I needed it by Saturday since I was leaving Sunday and today, Saturday, it is closed (I have been calling repeatedly throughout the day, and the store is closed, with no notification). Furthermore, they asked for payment ahead of time. This is irresponsible to customers and unreliable. If one says something will be done, especially when travel deadlines are involved, it should be done. Needless to say, I will not be returning to this whimsical business. more

I have been to Supreme Shoe repair 3-4 times, and every time I go I say I'll never be back! I keep going because it's convenient. They NEVER have the shoes repaired when they say they will, their workmanship is shoddy, the woman at the counter is rude & combative-I have personally seen her arguing with unhappy customers on several occasions. My last experience was to repair some boots. When I went into the shop a week after they were supposed to be done, they had never even been fixed. I took my boots with me and will be looking for a new shop to take my business. It's not worth the frustration of trying to work with these people. I WILL NOT BE BACK! Cons: awful service more

I have no idea how this place stays in business! I have gone back three times from Arvada to pick up my shoes and when I do, they either can't find them or they weren't fixed. Three other customers said they had the same problem and wouldn't ever be using them again, and this was just the people I spoke to while waiting. And they charged me $50 to fix these shoes on top of it! DON'T use them! Pros: Came highly recommended by Norstrom's Cons: NEVER got my shoes fixed. more

After they had my shoe for nearly two weeks (for a really small repair) I called to learn if it was ready. The guy said he was too busy to even look, and refused to call me back before he left for the day--said he was too busy. Next day, I called and a different guy said he was really busy and would I please call back. Eventually he looked, and told me my shoe was ready. Next day, I go to pick it up and the front door is locked at 2 in the afternoon on a weekday--no note, no indication of when they might unlock the door. I could see someone in the back, but he pretended not to notice me knocking at the locked door. A few minutes later an employee comes through the locked front door. He couldn't find my shoe and told me to go look on his shelf until I found it. Everyone I dealt with had hostile, sarcastic attitudes. These folks are clearly overwhelmed and they don't need your business or mine. Cons: Disorganized, hostile service more

I took my favorite pair of shoes to be resoled, and when I picked them up, they had been butchered. My moccasins had previously had soft, flexible rubber soles, with a layer of padding between the sole itself and the leather, and when I picked them up, they had heeled men's soles on them! I asked for a refund, and was told I'd have to talk to the manager, but that they couldn't give me his contact information, so I should leave a note. I did so, and received no response for four days, at which time I went back in and was informed that I would never get a refund. So I asked them to at least take the bad soles off so that I could take them elsewhere, and they sliced up the leather doing so right in front of me. I'm reporting them to the bb bureau, and forcing a refund through my bank. Go to Perry's on Walnut--much, much, much better service for the same prices. would not give it a star if I could. They lost one shoe, couldn't find the other. Never even fixed the shoe after I left them there a week, just lost the other shoe. Gave them another day to look, they didn't find. Refuses to give replacement cost. Tried speaking to owner on phone and at store, supposedly ""wasn't there"". I plan on taking them to small claims court if this isn't resolved. DO NOT GO TO THEM!! Cons: Terrible service, lost my shoes and refuses to pay me more

I brought my boots in because the heel was broken. While ringing me up, the owner Dan Lawshe, noticed my old leather purse was worn to the point of no return. So I thought! He actually ended up doing a dye job and a little sewing on the inside, and it looked like new! I was planning on parting with it because it was on its last days. Oh, and the heel on the boot; perfect, like new. Pros: work guaranteed Cons: prices are a bit higher, but worth the quality of work! more

I've already been there 4 previous times, and I just droppped my $750 custom made boots off for their second re-sole. My husband has also used them twice, once for a re-sole and once for a repair job on his hiking boots. I've never had a problem with them. All their work has been excellent, and on time. Their staff has always been honest on time frame and answered any questions that were asked - both on repair work and the best sole for my boots. I live in Westminster and find it worth the drive for their service. Pros: Great workmanship Cons: Non that I can think of more

These people are such a rip off and they will not return your shoes on time if at all. I'm still waiting for my last pair of shoes which I had dropped off more than five weeks ago. PLEASE DO NOT GO TO THIS SHOE REPAIR STORE! There are plenty more to choose from. Their customer service is pathetic and if I had not already paid for my shoes first, I would have taken my shoes else where. If you don't believe this review, go see for yourself, but just know I warned ya'. Cons: Everything has gone wrong and I'm still counting the cons more

This place is the best. I have over 300 pair of shoes which they never go bad thanks to these guys. They also do a great job on my husbands work boots, and any luggage that we have brought in. I have been going to them for over ten years and I just love the quality of work. If you want something done right, go to Supreme Shoe Service. They are the best in the area by far. more

I took a pair of Asolo hikers in there for some minor work as well as getting the soles replaced. The soles look fine, but when I went in to pick them up on the day they said my boots would be ready, they hadn't even started working on them yet. I can understand businesses getting busy so I didn't worry about it overly much. When I went in to pick them up an hour and a half after they said they would be done they were still being worked on. I can still forgive this. However, when I finally got my boots, the stitching that I specifically asked for (some of the fabric around the top was getting frayed and there were holes forming) wasn't done and I knew even then that they hadn't been waterproofed like I asked. The owner, Dan Lawshe, took them back, did some fast and sloppy stitching on my $220 boots and told me to my face that they had been waterproofed a couple days before. I gave them the benefit of the doubt. But, the first time they got wet the water soaked right into the leather...obviously they had never been waterproofed. So, not only didn't they do what I asked for, they lied to me about it and that I cannot stand. more

i took my $200 dollar boot here to have the zippers replaced. i was told it would take four days, when i went in to pick them up they were not ready because they had to order special zippers. alright i can understand tha. i was told it would take about three days max to get them finished. i went in again and it turns out one of their employees had stretched the leather around the zipper so much that a new zipper could not be sewn in. they would have to re shrink the leather and it was going to take another week .since my initial visit it has been over a month. i went in today to pick them up and the zipper was sewn in improperly and the leather was still warped. there were lumps all along the zipper edge. this was literally the worst consumer experience i have EVER had. Pros: nothing more
