I took my favorite pair of shoes to be resoled, and when I picked them up, they had been butchered. My moccasins had previously had soft, flexible rubber soles, with a layer of padding between the sole itself and the leather, and when I picked them up, they had heeled men's soles on them! I asked for a refund, and was told I'd have to talk to the manager, but that they couldn't give me his contact information, so I should leave a note. I did so, and received no response for four days, at which time I went back in and was informed that I would never get a refund. So I asked them to at least take the bad soles off so that I could take them elsewhere, and they sliced up the leather doing so right in front of me. I'm reporting them to the bb bureau, and forcing a refund through my bank. Go to Perry's on Walnut--much, much, much better service for the same prices.
