I took a pair of Asolo hikers in there for some minor work as well as getting the soles replaced. The soles look fine, but when I went in to pick them up on the day they said my boots would be ready, they hadn't even started working on them yet. I can understand businesses getting busy so I didn't worry about it overly much. When I went in to pick them up an hour and a half after they said they would be done they were still being worked on. I can still forgive this. However, when I finally got my boots, the stitching that I specifically asked for (some of the fabric around the top was getting frayed and there were holes forming) wasn't done and I knew even then that they hadn't been waterproofed like I asked. The owner, Dan Lawshe, took them back, did some fast and sloppy stitching on my $220 boots and told me to my face that they had been waterproofed a couple days before. I gave them the benefit of the doubt. But, the first time they got wet the water soaked right into the leather...obviously they had never been waterproofed. So, not only didn't they do what I asked for, they lied to me about it and that I cannot stand.
