Dream House Windows

The work at my home was recently completed. The house was resided using Cape Cod Cedar Shake, new entry doors (back & front) and the back porch was demolished and rebuilt. My house was the eyesore of the block, now it is the show place of the block. The work done was okay. There appears to be a lack of communication with, and lack of supervision by the office of the work crew. I feel the details (i.e. mitered corners) could have been better. Overall we are very pleased with the work. This company was the only one of the many contractors we interviewed who used the quality of siding used. The work done was praised by another contractor and the building inspector. Maybe I am too critical, but my house is so gorgeous now; that even strangers who pass by admire it. more

I will say that Dreamhouse Windows was a very easy company to deal with. the sales team came in as set up a little late but thats OK. They presented the product and demonstrated it. We agreed on a price and it was set in motion. The windows where installled after a 2 to 3 week wait for manufacture which is what we expected. The installer's came out and set all the windows in 1 day and the install was done as I asked for. We own a LOG home and the install needs to be a little different thAat a conventional built home. They took out the entire window down to the frame. Replaced all the framing and inserted the new windows as promised. The installers did a very neet job on the new windows and cleaned up all the old materials. the windows at this time seem to be functioning very nicely. I noticed one issue, small one and the company was quick to resolve it. WE WILL RECOMMEND DREAMHOUSE WINDOWS to people. It was a good experiance. more

So far so good. Salesman very friendly. Professional presentaion, knowledgable and cooperative. Price was right,quality is high and the service staff is unmatched. Measurement folks came once then asked to come again for some picture windows to ensure they got it just right. Waiting now for installation. more

The ENTIRE experience was the BEST.Our sales rep Gary Krauss was very knowledgeable & informant.All questions were answered.Kim Garrison @ the office was also helpful when needed.Elkin & the 2 man installation team were friendly,courtious & respectful. They were careful not to damage anything or bang walls when when removing or discarding the old windows. Used drop cloths. Cleaned up the little dirt & debris. We had 11 double hung & 1 picture window installed in our home. We had gotten a good feeling about this company when we met with their salesperson. An even better feeling when we spoke to their office staff, and an even better feeling than that, when we met the installers. All were very polite, accommodating, and professional. Our windows were ready before the promised date, and the installation went very smooth. The professionalism of the installers was greatly appreciated and comforting. They were polite, diligent, neat, and took extreme care while working in our home. After the installation was complete, and the installers left, you would have never known that any work had been performed on our home inside or out. They left absolutely no traces of any kind of debris. The property looked exactly as it had before they arrived, except for the new attractive windows. Since it has only been four days since the windows were installed, we cannot review the product quality, but we don't expect any problems. We are very pleased with the experience we have had with Dreamhouse Windows and plan to have the rest of our home's windows replaced next year. By Dreamhouse of course! I only have met their salesman Mitch and about a week later a contractor named Dave who came out to mesure my windows . They both said they would be at my home at a certain time and they both kept their word . Keeping their word is a very good start.If the winows are as good as the two people I had delt with I am sure it will be a five star review more

I am still in the process of setting an appointmetn for the house to be transformed, but so far the sales process has been nothing but great. The salesman, Mitch and the general manager, Robert, have done nothing, but go out of their way to accommodate me. I was struggling making finacial decisions, but they were patient and walked me through several scenarios. I have not dealt with two people that really wanted me business without the pressure of actually commiting to the sale. If this was good, then I can't wait for the final product. I am extremely satisfied and I will be more happy once the appointment and house get done. I know your team of experts will be there to guide and show me everything. Dream house windows are fabulous, beautiful and enery efficient. The saleman was very courtious. His painstaking demonstration of how the windows are made and having customer experiencing effectiveness of those windows in insulatiing heat had huge affect on my decision to go with the company. My only surprise to the whole process is the impact of the windows on our existing alarm system. I wish we were made aware of this additional adjustment before installment. more

Our experienc with this company was a very good,and plesemt one.The sales rep.was knowledgeable, and helpful. The installers were extreamly professional doing thier job. We had 11 windows installed a couple of weeks back. They were the best price of three companies who made their individual presentations. Their sales person was not pushy and didn't knock the the other two, nor did he have booze on his breath like one of them; a complete turn-off. As for their product, very nice indeed. As for their installers, good guys and professional as well. The only problem I experienced was the bathroom window was too small for the opening. They explained the problem and returned in two weeks and trimmed it out; looks and functions fine. All in all, very satisfied and would recommend you give them at least a call prior to signing with another company. more

I gutted my old home 40 years ago and learned a lot about construction. I sold that home and purchased my Dream Home. After 19 years it needed better windows, heater and a new roof. I contracted Dream House Windows to replace my windows. Dave and his crew installed Dream House Windows into my Dream Home. Dave answered my questions to my satisfaction and no request was not to small or to large. The windows are of a heavy vinyl not like the light vinyl windows you see at the home centers. My wife is VERY happy with the windows. And you know if you can make your wife happy, you have it made. The Dream House Windows now installed in my Dream Home has made it for me. Matthew P. Windows arrived earlier than anticipated. IOnstallation crew was professional, courteous and accommodating. Cleaned up both inside and outside of house. I had an electrical problem which forced them to come twice to finish job. No problem. Would recommend. Only issue is salesman. I believe he needs a refresher course in how windows are installed. Not at all like he said. He also spoke harshly of competition. It may be true but it is not professional. Product sells itself and installation crew is very good. more

Two very nice men arrived on a cold, snowy day to replace five windows. They were on time, set their equipment and went to work. Within a few hours the removal and installation of the five windows was complete. Cleaned up work area, outside and inside the house, - wife was impressed - and on their way. Will have more work for this company in the future. more

Our visit with the Dream House salesman was very informative. Almost everything he promised about his product was true. The installation of 9 second floor windows went every smooth. The installers, Joseph and Anthony, were clean, efficient and friendly. After the installtion, I went around and checked out each to make sure that everything was working. Feeling happy about my purchase, I said to my wife "why didn't we do this 10 years ago?" more

They put a new porch roof and siding on our house. It is beyond any expectations that we had. The house looks amazing. Everyone that we have had contact with from Dreamhouse Windows were very professional and polite. They said that they would be have the house done in 6-7 days and they were done in 4. When we started looking into window replacement we had various companies come over and try to push their products on us and bash the competition, but Dream House Windows far exceeding our expectations without being pushy or arrogant about their service. The representative was proessional, easy to communicate with, listened to what we wanted and found the best way to make our decisions work for us. Sales person Rick Silver was fabulous. His demonstrations were effective and he gave us a lot of good information without pressuring us to buy. Installers arrived on scheduled day and installed all windows in a remarkably short period of time. Our only complaints are (1) salesman told us installation would be done from outside, but 10 of 11 of our windows were installed from inside. As a result we hadn't prepared by removing window treatments and moving items away from windows, so there was a good deal of clean up we had to do after. (2) During installion of kitchen window, the only one done from outside, a heavy vase fell off a shelf attached to the wall above the window into our sink and broke out a corner of the granite composite sink. Quality of the windows was not exaggerated and we highly recommend this company, but would advise customers to clear inside where windows are to be installed in case they are done that way. more
