At first glance, it looks like a 50's diner in the middle of Capitol Hill. Fine for some, but we like more than plain old American food. We were delighted to see all of the asian-inspired art on the walls, and the Vietnamese menu in the window. When we were given the choice of going to an outside deck that was not advertised, we jumped at the chance. It is beautifully decorated with flower boxes, bamboo, and is pleasantly private. The sunny weather helped, of course. The food was gourmet at decent prices, but I must say that the bloody marys were TOO spicy.
Although we only experienced the brunch deck atmosphere, we are looking forward to the Vietnamese torch-lit deck experience as well!
Pros: Service, Ambience
Cons: Spicy bloody marys
