The plumber from Clarke Kent was at my house at 8:02 this morning and was here for about 2 hours. They did not sell the water heater to me but have been out to fix it on my side of the duplex and on the rental side too. He determined my thermostat was bad but knew based on the install date that there was still a warranty on the part. He left to get the part, came back to install it and charged me for labor only. He completely handled teh part warranty for me at no extra charge. I can't be more satisfied and would recommend this company to anyone. more

Clarke Kent Plumbing came out twice to fix the leak in the bathroom and fixed it in a way that it still leaked in 2 places after their repairs were done. The downstairs neighbors had to cut their ceiling again to fix the brand new Clarke Kent ""repair"" which leaked in 2 places. Oh yeah they only charged 350% (hundreds and hundreds of dollars near a pushing near $1000) more of what the other company had charged for the same repairs later on. The other company did manage to fix the leaks as the job was very simple. So ripped off with no repairs done. Use them if you want to pay 350% more than what it costs to do the job and still have the same freaking leak. Disgusting... Cons: all of their ""service"" more

I received sub-par and distressing service from a technician who would only identify himself as ""Five."" He overcharged me, clearly had no idea what he was doing, and to make matters worse, he entered my house without knocking! The service was completely outside, so he had no reason to enter my house. Fortunately I have a very protective dog who would not let him get very far. The company still has not responded to my concerns. If you're a woman, keep your doors locked if this company is around! Pros: They did show up. Cons: I felt unsafe with their technician. more

I needed to create a T connection to my main water line, but unfortunately had to use a special type of PVC pipe. So I called them because they're one of the few companies around that still carry these parts. I told them exactly what parts needed to be put in and the exact work needed to be done. The guy showed up 3 hours late, and without any of the necessary parts I specifically explained over the phone (it's a simple T connection!). So they had to have somebody else grab the parts and deliver them while this guy waited in his van outside my house. After receiving the parts, it took all of 5 minutes to put in the connection and test it out. I ended being billed for 30 minutes of work, $50 for them using a wrench, and 2-3 times the actual cost of parts. I asked the guy if I could talk to the owner, and they immediately started to threaten to rip the connection out if I wanted to make any complaints at all (thereby leaving us without water possibly for another day). The guy was nice enough however to get the owner on the line. The owner immediately threatened to rip the connection out (AGAIN), and basically said he could care less what our complaints were. Nice enough plumber who came out, but terrible and dishonest company to work with. Who threatens their own customers when talking with them?!?! Just be ready for some of this if you call up them up. I called Clarke Kent Plumbing out to replace my kitchen sink. I was very impressed with the response time of their schedule. I didn't have to wait a week to have them come out. When the service technician arrived he was well mannered and very knowledgeable. He replaced my sink and my wife and I couldn't be happier with the work that was done. This plumbing company came to my home to give me a quote on installing a bathtub. I had to call them for the quote after 2 days. They quoted me $2500.00 just for instillation, which was what I paid for the tub...? The girl answering the phone was extremely rude. I asked to speak to the owner to relay my disappointment and she said,""They don't have time for complaints"". I finally found a plumber to install the tub for a fraction of their quote and he quit working for them due to their lack of morals/ethics. This furthur solidified my thoughts about this company--HORRIBLE! Cons: Overpriced, Unreliable, Rude, Careless more

Do not use! I wish I had read some of these negative reviews (plus there are similar ones on other review sites) before I asked for service. This company does NOT believe in customer service, it's clear that they are only interested in taking your money. Frankly I was shocked that a service-oriented company treated me so rudely. The attitude that they give seems like, ""We're an established company, and we don't really need your business."" Cons: Rude employee more
