I STARTED MY SEARCH ON THE COMPUTER AND ENDED WITH A QUICK RESPOSE FROM BERTERA CHEVROLET IN PALMER. WE SAT WITH MATT AND HE DETERMINED WHAT I SHOULD BE LOOKING AT IN A USED 4X4 VEHICLE. AFTER LOOKING AT THREE VEHICLES THE THIRD WAS A GEM. WE CHOSE A GMC ENVOY WITH A DENALI PACKAGE AND LOW MILES. A CLEAN AND WELL MAINTAINED VEHICLE\r DOCUMENTED WITH A CARFAX WHICH MEANT ALOT TO ME. My husband called the dealership regarding a murrano that they had on their lot. He told Trevor that he was sending his wife over to test drive the car only. I came in and asked for him and he brought the car over and I test drove the car. While out on the test drive I told Trevor that I did come in the other day asking if they had a BMW M3, the person said no, but that person did offer to det one for me, and I said no that's OK. So anyway, Trevor said do you mean and X3? I said yes that's the one, I got my X3's and M3's mixed up. So, we returned to the dealership and I test drove the BMW X3. I told him that I like the car, but my husband would not be available until Sunday, to come down and test drive the car. He said that would not be a problem. I put down a $300.00 hold on the car, until my husband could come and look at the car. I told Trevor that I just test drive cars, I don't get involved with the cost of the car. He was great, he never pressured me into making a deal. He is very professional salesmen. He is a great asset to the Bertera dealership. He was always professional, and also shared some things about his family, as I did as well. We had great laugh about the car, kids and other things. He's just not trying to just sell a car, he also likes to know somethings abou the person themselves. He did tell me that I was taking one of his favorite cars off the lot, sorry Trevor, but there are two more cars of his liking. I just want to thank Trevor again for everything! more

let me start by saying im a very busy person and normally wouldnt take the time to write that i was happy with my car buying experience. BUT this wasnt just buying a new car, this was much more personal for me. I went to bertera after making phone calls to several dealers looking to trade in my motorcycle for a truck, as sometimes life changes and could no longer afford the bike. i was completely upside down in the loan for not putting any down, i work for myself and had no pay stubs to show, but did have a good credit rating. i explained all this to every dealer and three responded. one said they could give me a maximum of 2500 for my bike(ha), another dealer wouldnt even take it after i mentioned the negative equity. it was imperative that i purchased a truck before winter and also to get out of my horrible motorcycle loan (19.9%) dont fall for intro rates! nonetheless i asked for 4000 for my bike in trade(shooting a little high i thought), and after calling a few places told me they were happy to tell me they could offer me 4500. and im no dummy, that was well above nada and kbb value. of course this was welcomed news, and i checked out a few trucks. i came back the next day with my bike and they crunched and twisted the numbers until we were all blue in the face, but finally were able to get me into a really nice truck, for exactly what i wanted to pay a month, and my rate went down to 7.9%. they WILL go the extra mile to make a sale, i highly recommed this dealer to anyone. and trust me i have dealt with my share of car and motorcycle dealers, these guys are straight shooters and dont have any incentive to nickel and dime you. so they dont. i will be forever thankful that i was able to get out of that crazy bike loan and now have a reliable 4X4 truck. they also were told that i needed the truck asap and they certainly did their part, even giving me a loaner for a few days while i waited for my title to come in. do yourself a favor and go talk to matt, you wont be disappointed more

Nate informed me of all of my options concerning my repair and decided that for safety issues my vehicle should be serviced on the day I visited the service department. He offered a ride home while my vehicle was being serviced and called as promised during the day to keep me informed of the status of the repairs. He also called to notify me that the repairs were completed and offered that the dealer would pick me up in the morning if I was unable to make it to the dealership before closing. Nate keeps me informed on services covered by my warranty and explains repairs that have been done. Courteous and efficient. more

Stopped in to Bertera-Palmer while driving back home to the Berkshires from a stop in Worcester. It was my first visit to a dealership as I begain the search to replace my Bonneville which has just passed 182,000 miles. Didn't inted to buy, just look at several models. Wound up test driving a nice Malibu, then sizing up and Impala. Johnny and Jay were both friendly, informative and cooperative. While I still wasn't ready to go to the next step, my son is a GM mechanic in Southborough MA and encourages me to keep the brand in the family. more

I saw a car That Bertera Chevy had advertised on Ebay. It was the exact model & color that I was looking for. I called he number in the ad & got a salesman who connected me with Dominick the Sales Manager. I feel that I had a fairly difficult deal for them to work with. I was trading a 2007 Civic EX for a 2008 Civic SI. I wanted to negotiate the asking price on the car that Bertera had while still getting a fair trade in value on my 07 Civic. After a short while, Dominick & I came to a very fair agreement. I was treated like a valued customer. I rarely see that anymore. Dominick & his team went above & beyond what I feel would be the norm. The car was even delivered to me in NY (2 hours away) at no additional charge. I am giving Bertera Chevrolet & Dominick the highest possible rating because they treated me as if I had been dealing with them for years. I will buy from them again & I will recommend them highly to my friends & family. more

My experience with Bertera and Trevor was wonderful. He listened to my needs and did not just speak to my husband. It was a car for me so he listened to me. He put me into a Jeep Grand Cherokee and gave me a lesson on all the features and was very knowledgeable about the vehicle. My family and I enjoyed working with Trevor and would recommend him and Bertera to anyone who asks. We buy cars infrequently and this one was easier than some. The salesman was an automobile enthusiast and was more knowledgeable than any other sales people we delt with on out quest for this car. You do have to be willing to play the ""car game"" and wait for the inevitable negtiation phase. That said, the real joy was how the car was prepared for us. We asked that hte car be cleaned and that a scratch be removed from the bumper. The preparation was superb. On their own, they replaced the brakes, various bulbs that apparently were out and cleaned the interior and exterior as if readying it for a show. A delay in delivery of a day was necessary to remove an aftermarket thint film that wouldn't pass a state inspection. We were in the dark about such a requirement and removal was no easy task. Full gas tank was provided and we were ready to go. We would recommend this dealer and would consider for our next purchase. more

I have had bad experiences attempting to purchase a car as a young female and felt that salesmen would try to take advantage of me. Trevor Smart was so wonderful and honest and helpful. The entire experiences at Bertera in Palmer, MA was outstanding. Everyone was kind and helpful and positive. Trevor spent HOURS with me and I enjoyed his wit and approach to sales. I found the car I was looking for on their web site and called to make sure they still had the car. I explained I lived in New Hampshire and that I did not want to play games. They were excellent to deal with and followed up with all details of the deal. I got the money I was looking to get for my trade and I paid a fair price for the car I purchased. They even delivered my new car to me in NH to save me the drive. I would recommend this dealer to my friends and family and will probably buy my next car from them. I was very surprised with the excellent quality of service and personal attention that I recieved at Bertera Chevrolet, even though I was purchasing a pre owned European Sport Sedan. I called the dealership from overseas and was able to place a deposit on a vehicle on the spot, holding it for me for longer than any dealer would prefer, this is when I knew that the customer service of this dealership was better than average. When I arrived to pick up the car, the salesperson that took the deposit was on his off day but the sales staff did not miss a beat and answered all my questions with unmatched professionalism and honesty and I purchased the vehicle the same day. I test drove the car and completed a purchase and sales agreement the same day, every person I encountered from the Salesman to the Finance Manager was a friendly professional at all times. The next day the car was delivered 90 miles to my hometown with the courtesy that one would expect when purchasing a Bentley. Steve Gonzalves, the internet sales specialist that took the deposit on the vehicle, and Mike Teixeira, the Sales Consultant that handled all the paperwork and test drive made my experience at Bertera Chevrolet among the best that I have ever had at any Domestic or Foreign Dealership. I would recommend Bertera Chevrolet to anyone, whether they would like to purchase a new or pre owned Chevy, or if they want a pre owned Audi S4 in near-flawless condition (as I did). I was given above and beyond quality assistance in choosing the vehicle that best fit my needs and criteria without being hassled and pressured into making a decision. My vehicle was also ready for pick up in exceptional time as not to hinder my daily routines. The sales person Larry Flakes was accessible whenever any questions arouse and answered such with precision to the best of his knowledge.
