Brian was very knowledgeable about the vehicle and was able to show me all the bells and whistles and how everything is used. That was very helpful in deciding if we wanted the vehicle or not. He was very kind and friendly. We will definitely be back in about another 4 to 5 years to purchase. I purchased a car from Bertera and brought it back to them twice WITHIN 30 days. Each time they said nothing was wrong with it and told me to bring it to Toyota, ""they would say the same thing"". So I brought it to Toyota and at the time I brought it to them it went over 30 days. It turns out the car needed a new engine. I was stuck dealing with a lawyer for a year and had to get another reliable car to drive in the mean time. After a year of dealing with a lawyer I only got $1000 while the new engine cost me $6000. I had to save up enough money to replace the engine and at the same time pay two car payments and insurance on both cars. Another year went by and I was still not able to sell the car by itself so I had to trade both of my cars in for one car. Now, years later I'm basically still paying for two cars due to all of the negative equity, and will be until my car is paid off. Do not buy from Bertera, they ruined my life. more

I was concerned about buying a new vehicle and the Dealer being responsive to my family's special needs. My wife has cerebal palsy. We were made to feel comfortable and accepted. The dealer was open and anxious to meet our needs. They worked with me every step of the way. Their familiarization process was thorough, informative and helped me feel comfortable with the new car. Went in looking for a used car, good on gas, under $10K with low miles. Dealer got me exactly that on the first try. Didn't try to talk me into something else. I've been looking around for a new car for a few months. The car I was driving is still running fine so I was in no big hurry. I saw a 2009 Chevy Cobalt online at Bertera and decided to go down and look at it. I really liked the car and after speaking with the sales rep. Trevor Smart, I decided to purchase the vehicle. Trevor made sure I knew exactly what I was buying (explained everything from the air bags to the sound system and even showed me the kbb value of the car online) and that I was happy with it. The people who wrote the negative reviews on this site are either overly critical or slightly delusional. If you want a low payment for a vehicle, it's a good idea to do your research first. A sales rep can't magically improve your credit so you can drive a Hummer for less than $300 a month. Be realistic and do the math yourself. It's not their fault that you """"need"""" to drive a car that's out of your price range. I'm a young female (the exact person whom you think would be """"taken advantage"""" of during a car deal) and I never once felt uncomfortable or pressured into buying anything. My husband was displeased with the service at Bertera prior to this as well (due to an experience years ago). After dealing with the sales and finance staff this time, he has changed his mind. I left with a nice, quality car and my two year old left with a cookie. Good experience for all of us! If any of my friends or family are looking for new vehicles in the future, I will definitely recommend Bertera! more

Purchased a used 2007 Chevy Colorado 4wd lt3 Crew Cab. Dealth With Trevor. Upon pickup of vehicle, noticed that it needed a blower fan resistor. Had replaced on the spot. Took vehicle home. I moved to florida, on the drive down I noticed that the same problem happened. Called trevor immediately to get this under Bertera warranty and sure enough they were willing to fix it, even out of state. Contacted a chevy dealership down here, Bertera cut the check to have the work performed. I love my truck, would purchase from bertera, specifically trevor again. more

Trevor was very friendly and easy to talk to about what i was looking for and what he sold to me which was a 2006 Ford Taurus that i have only driven for a day but i already know that i love it. The car looks brand new and only has almost 49000 miles and it drives very smooth. The other thing i liked about Trevor was that he worked hard to try and get me approved for a loan and although it took a some time to get it done because i had no credit in my name it all worked out in the end. I would definitely recommend this place to family members and friends and hope to deal with Trevor in years to come. more

Went found a car we could afford, the deal was great. Sales took care of it all Reg, sale, finance .... all we did is sign and drive Car was clean and preped, new tires. The staff was very friendly. It was a very snowy day when I went and I didn""t relized how far away it was from me but they had a great mission statement and the truck I was looking for at a great price so it was worth the trip. We we're treated well and made to feel at home from the start.This is the first time I've felt good about being in a dealers showroom.I like the person my wife and I dealt with.AJ I would have marked ""great"" on all questions if the brake lights we're working when we came to pick up the car,it had just been inspected. But even so it was taken care of asap and AJ did a great job helping us.The Hyundai dealer fixed it next day under warranty.Brake light switch. Trevor was also very helpful when AJ wasn't available. more

After waiting a few weeks (for money to come in) we drove 1-1/2 hours to go check it out. It was (is) absolutely gorgeous. Long story short, Trevor helped get us into a car we love at a price we can afford. He stayed long after closing time to make sure that we were taken care of. They even worked out a deal with us when there was trouble getting the title for our trade. I bought a 2004 Isuzu Rodeo from Bertera Chevrolet. I was extremely impressed upon driving up to the dealership, and was immediately greeted at the door. I had done my research and essentially knew which vehicle I wanted to purchase, but I was still impressed with the timely manner in which I walked into the dealership and drove out with my new car. I live on Cape and had mechanical issued a short time after purchase. My muffler began to rot a bit, cause a hole in my muffler, which made it very loud and unsafe due to emissions. I took a chance and called Bertera to tell them about my issue, thinking that I would be told that I was well past the warantee and they would be unable to help me, or would request that I would have to drive from Cape Cod to Palmer to repair it. However, I could not have been more wrong. After speaking with Bertera and discussing my repair, they allowed me to get my car fixed on the Cape, and they sent me a full reimbursement check within days of calling them. Economic times are tough, and Bertera was an enormous help during this time. It is nive to know that they not only care about their cars, but also the people driving them. I would recommend Bertera as the sales staff were extremely professional and they took care of issues immediatelly upon receipt of my phone call. I highly recommend Bertera of Palmer and will definitely be going back there to buy my next car! more
