I traveled to Bertera in MA from CT as the result of an ad I saw online. It was well worth the trip because I had a very good experience at Bertera. I was met by the general manager (sales mgr)who greeted me and we talked briefly before he introduced me to the salesman who would be handling my purchase. My salesman was honest, direct, and not pushy. We had a ""normal"" conversation about life issues and finally got around to purchase a vehicle. I told him exactly what I was looking for, what I wanted to spend, etc. Less than a week later, I bought a 2008 Grand Prix from Bertera on only my 2nd visit, and I would definitely return to purchase another vehicle in the future. more

My experience at Bertera was a positive one. We purchased a new pick-up truck from Brian Hall and were very satisfied.He knows his product and it was not a pressure filled sale.We took our time and did not feel rushed. I would recommend this dealership. We have purchased cars in the past and it was a tension filled proccess, but not here.In going over the paperwork Brian answered all questions clearly and honestly.Everyone was very helpful. more

So, I read all of the reviews on here about this dealership and how corrupt and what-not they were and decided to go for a visit and see for myself. They had some nice cars on their website (with stock numbers) that I wanted to see so I headed over from Boston. I dealt with Michael Tex and he patiently talked to me about the various vehicles and we went on 3 test drives. He was well informed and patient and after the test drives, I said I liked a car but I'd have to think about it. No pressure whatsoever, he thanked me for coming, gave me his card and told me to call him if I had any questions. Just because someone else had a bad experience and decided to go off on a rant, doesn't make this place a bad dealership. They had nice cars and good service. I was greeted before I walked in the door and treated very professionally. more

I'm giving this rating because, my previous car interest rate was 21% 2005 Chevy Trailblazer, after going to Bertera Chevrolet, the finance manager in particular worked very hard and got me a deal on a 2008 Ford Expidition at 8%, I could not believe how great they were in assisting me. It was the best experience by far that I've ever had with any dealership. more

I saw a car that Bertera Chevy had advertised on Ebay. It was the exact model & color that I was looking for. I called he number in the ad & got a salesman who connected me with Dominick the Sales Manager. I feel that I had a fairly difficult deal for them to work with. I was trading a 2007 Civic EX for a 2008 Civic SI. I wanted to negotiate the asking price on the car that Bertera had while still getting a fair trade in value on my 07 Civic. After a short while, Dominick & I came to a very fair agreement. I was treated like a valued customer. I rarely see that anymore. Dominick & his team went above & beyond what I feel would be the norm. The car was even delivered to me in NY (2 hours away) at no additional charge. I am giving Bertera Chevrolet & Dominick the highest possible rating because they treated me as if I had been dealing with them for years. I will buy from them again & I will recommend them highly to my friends & family.? more

We purchased a 2004 Cooper S from the dealer 1 August 2008. We buy cars infrequently and this one was easier than some. The salesman was an automobile enthusiast and was more knowledgeable than any other sales people we delt with on our quest for this car. You do have to be willing to play the ""car game"" and wait for the inevitable negotiation phase. That said, the real joy was how the car was prepared for us. We asked that the car be cleaned and that a scratch be removed from the bumper. The preparation was superb. On their own, they replaced the brakes, various bulbs that apparently were out and cleaned the interior and exterior as if readying it for a show. A delay in delivery of a day was necessary to remove an aftermarket tint film that wouldn't pass a state inspection. We were in the dark about such a requirement and removal was no easy task. Full gas tank was provided and we were ready to go. The only down side was the apparent blocking of subsequent calls to the salesman to inquire about a missing trim piece. A call to a real Mini dealer took care of the problem. We would recommend this dealer and would consider for our next purchase. more

I found the staff to be extremely courteous to both my wife and I. Our sales rep, Frank was the reason we did one stop buying. We had planned on visiting other showrooms, but enjoyed his straight forward approach in explaining the inventory. We found it easy to purchase our vehicle from Frank. Great staff at Bertera.? more

This is the second brand new vehicle I have bought from Bertera Chevrolet and I have once again been completely satisfied with my entire process from start to finish. I left a horrible dealership and experience when I was at Medeiros Williams Chevy Dealership in Wilbraham Mass but at Betera Chevy in Palmer, my experience was wonderful. I had already driven the Equinox and went into the showroom only to get a price quote on the exact model with the extras I wanted. They were helpful in ordering the exact car/color I wanted. I wanted to write you and tell you how much I appreciate your staff when buying my new car. I was pleased with how everyone treated me, but in particular, Steve and Carl who worked very close with me. I went in there knowing what it was I wanted. I had been car shopping for sometime until I went to see you guys and I must say the customer service was a lot different than most. They made me feel that I was the only one buying a car. In the end I got a much better car than what I was looking for in the beginning. Let me just say that buying a car is never fun, but I must say I enjoyed buying one from Steve. The one thing he said when I was looking at different cars was ""does this car WOW you"" At first I laughed but the more I thought about it, the more I thought what a great way for me to find a car I really liked. The first car he showed me I honestly couldn't say yes to that question, but in the end, looking and finding the car I wanted I knew the car was for me when I could say ""yes this car wows me!"" It was a great way to really see how you feel about a car. Steve was very funny and shared a lot about himself. I felt as if I knew him. I feel that in the job of customer service it always nice when someone recognizes how good you made their experience. They made mine great and I would recommend Bertera to anyone looking to buy a car. more
