Fabulous style and customer service 9/6/2006

Amad has been my hair stylist for 10 years. I was very excited to follow him to Amaci as I knew he had both the experience and vision for one of the top salons in the city. The atmosphere is warm and stylish without being intimidating. Amad has a great eye for style and even during some of my less adventurous hair cuts, he always chose something that had the perfect amount of style and looked great on me for months after. Rossmary is wonderful! 9/5/2006

Rossmary has been my hairdresser since I moved to Boston two years ago, and with two drastically different hairstyles - both before and after donating a foot of my hair to locks for love - she was able to give me exactly the cut I needed: something stylish without being too trendy that looks great without too much effort. Her new location at Amaci Salon is classy and friendly. Highly recommended! more

Rossmary has been my hairdresser since I moved to Boston two years ago, and with two drastically different hairstyles - both before and after donating a foot of my hair to locks for love - she was able to give me exactly the cut I needed: something stylish without being too trendy that looks great without too much effort. I recently made my first trip to this salon, having followed Rossmary from FX over on Comm Ave. What a difference! This ambiance here is great, very classy and professional. The location is extremely convenient for anyone working downtown. And of course, it's the same great work. Rossmary always knows exactly how to balance my preference for looking ""natural"" with a touch of sophistication. Highly recommended! more

High End - No Attitude 8/24/2006

Amad, Amaci's owner, does everything right! I've been following Amad from salon to salon in Boston and I'm happy that he finally has his own place. Amad takes time to listen to his clients. He doesn't just give people a "trendy" hair cut, he taylors each cut to the individual. I've been seeing Amad for about 8 or 9 years now and I will follow him to the end of the earth. I have NEVER been unhappy with my hair cut or color. Amad knows his stuff. The Stuart Street location is very cute and away from the craziness of Newbury St. The environment is very relaxed and the staff makes everyone feel comfortable - there is NO intimidation factor here. You'll love Amad and Amaci Salon! more

This savvy salon really is the whole package. I've been to Amad for over 7 years now and have only been completely ecstatic and satisfied everytime I leave. Aside from myself, I have over the years sent numerous college roommates, and now professional co-workers who not only regularly go, but travel from out of state. Amad has a gift and ingenius talent to match colors and cuts to your personal style and taste. The entire salon is absolutely in the know about trends, fashion and comfort. Don't be afraid to ask for something daringly new or different--you won't be disappointed. My advice? Allow some time, have a glass of wine, enjoy the tunes, and relax to the pampering shampoo/conditioner massages they are all so undeniably amazing at! Pros: EVERYTHING! Even validated parking. Cons: No cons. more

Perfection! 8/20/2006

Amad is AWESOME! He took my unruly curly hair and made it fabulous. He was professional, fun, talkative (but not too chatty) and made me walk out feeling wonderful. I went to Amaci on a whim today and I will definitely be going back. He knew exactly what would look good and made it happen. I can not recommend Amad enough and the salon is clean, cool and inviting. I have spent much more money on Newbury Street salons, but this is a Back Bay gem without the snazzy address. I just cant find the exact words to define Ryans work. He is the best, just magical. For the last 3 years he has NEVER failed my expectations and every time I get my haircut (and color) he just proves he is the BEST, and a good friend. Amazing highlights 8/17/2006

Amal is the best hairdresser I've ever had! I've been going to her since September and every time is better than the last. I can tell her to do whatever she thinks is best, and she's always right. I luckily stumbled upon Amad in March. It has been 5 months since my cut and it still looks good! Well minus the split ends (my fault). Amad simply sat me down and without any consultation he knew exactly what color highlight to give me as well as what kind of cut. He was really easy going and definitely knows his stuff. It's unbelievable that I have not gotten it cut in so long but it still is layered and highlighted nicely. Since I have found a job, I plan to spend the extra money and travel to Boston from NYC to get my hair done by Amad. Pros: expertise in coloring and cut Cons: can't think of ANY! more

For the past 5 years I have been getting my hair cut by the Best hairdresser I have ever had. I would follow Ryan to the end of the earth because it ensures that I will have the best cut and color ever.
