Businiess name:  Alma de Cuba
Review by:  Meredith M.
Review content:
Located a stone's throw from Rittenhouse Square, Alma de Cuba, the restaurant J. Lo reportedly visited while still part of Bennifer, boasts a downstairs lounge with a tasty menu of tropical cocktails. The drinks include several incarnations of the mojito, a tasty non-frozen fresh pina colada in a coconut shell (okay, so it's ceramic), and a rum-based lemonade. The signatures cocktails run $9 apiece but are large and plenty alcohol. This spot has red leather seats grouped into little seating areas as well as seats at the bar. I'm a little below the age of its typical patrons but it strikes me as a perfect place for a date or for the young thirtysomething professional crowd to go to find a date. I recommend especially the Mojito Martini - in a big martini glass it has all of the flavor of a regular mojito but for $9 it has none of the ice.
