Businiess name:  House of Brides
Review by:  Jeff S.
Review content:
Good: Found the perfect dress.. Bad: Terrible Service - salesperson was barely available to my fiance even though she had an appointment. Lied about delivery date. Lied about alterations being included. Extremely rude. Made her go with a size 10 sizes larger than her normal size. When and if the dress ever comes in, we're expecting it to be a total loss. Worst service we've ever experienced at any business, even a fast-food joint. I would rather be punched in the face than do business with these scum ever again.. Improvements: I would fire the entire staff, to start with, then I would clearly post terms (such as $300 alterations) so that the salespeople can't lie and say they're included. Then hire some competent people. I would make sure to deliver when you say you're going to deliver.. Other: I realize HoB likes to screw people over because they figure they're likely only coming in for a wedding dress once, but they need to realize that when every other wedding vendor they use provides impeccable service - the most important component for a wedding vendor - people are going to go out of their way to save others from the same fate. Unless House of Brides somehow redeems themselves, I am planning on wasting far more money spreading the word about how bad they are than what we spent on the dress..
